Are you looking to lead and direct the business partnering strategy for a well-known charity?

Would working on change projects and enhancing process improvements be something of interest to you?

Do you want to lead a small team and work to upskill budget holders in order to help make sound financial decisions?

The role

This excellent opportunity as Senior Finance Business partner will work for a commercially ran charity with a turnover of almost £100mil. As well as offering a modern, forward thinking and ambitious work ethic across the team, this Senior Finance Business Partner position will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Working on a varied portfolio of restricted and unrestricted funding programmes as well as leading on providing detailed and relevant information to budget holders
  • Delivering sound advice to budget holders by supporting and coaching them through the decision-making process
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the annual budget setting process and appropriately forecasting to communicate financially to non-finance staff
  • Leading on specific change projects for the organisation in order to improve efficiencies across the charity
  • Line manage a small team of Finance Business Partners and create opportunity for development and growth within the FP&A team

This opportunity offers a salary of £55000, is based in Central London and offers a multitude of additional benefits, such as flexible working, career development and an excellent working culture, plus much more.

The successful candidate

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
  • 2-3 years of post-qualified experience within the charity sector with an understanding of restricted and unrestricted funding
  • A proactive and 'outside-the-box' thinker
  • A strong communicator who can challenge and coach budget holders of all levels and areas
  • Strong experience of cost analysis
  • Ideally have experience of managing or supervising a small team
