You will be confident in managing new and existing donor relationships to secure five and six-figure gifts. Your experience and innovative approach will help the foundation pioneer new frontiers in giving, widening both who gives and how. As a collaborative leader, you will work alongside senior leaders, Trustees, donors and partners to deliver income targets, joining a creative team committed to professional development and wellbeing.

This role is a permanent position that will be part-time 4 days a week with hybrid working. The role offers a salary of £49k-£55k FTE, and the organisation is open to flexible working conversations.

This is a new role working within Battersea’s Income Generation department to develop and deliver the campaign plan for a £4-6million pound capital fundraising appeal.

One of the key pillars of Battersea’s current strategy is to ensure that we continue to provide expert care for all the dogs and cats that come through our gates. One of the ways in which we do this is by investing in our facilities to ensure that they continue to meet the changing needs of the animals we care for. This fundraising campaign will help to achieve that aim.

You will work with teams across Battersea to develop a comprehensive plan for the campaign and co-ordinate the work of multiple specialist teams to deliver the campaign on a day-to-day basis. The Trading Manager role is a full-time, permanent post within the Trading Support Department. This role leads the corporate partnerships team to achieve income targets and grow the opportunity pipeline. The postholder will shape and update the corporate strategy and operational plan, working with the Head of Fundraising and Communications on budgets. You will manage key partnerships, engage current and potential supporters, and ensure excellent stewardship through account plans. A key focus will be fostering a culture of new business development, identifying prospects, and mobilising senior volunteer support.

What You’ll Do:
As our Head of Fundraising, you will play a vital role to help deliver the League’s vision of a kinder society where animals are no longer persecuted in the name of ‘sport’. Your responsibilities will include:

Job Purpose

The Digital Transformation Lead will spearhead the implementation of the Cathedral’s Digital Strategy. Working closely with the Cathedral Leadership Team, Heads of Department, and wider stakeholders, this role will lead the integration of digital systems, improve data management, drive operational efficiency, and support audience engagement through technology. The postholder will ensure the Cathedral’s digital infrastructure aligns with strategic priorities, supports compliance (including the UK GDPR), and unlocks new opportunities for outreach, engagement, fundraising, and income generation.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead change management and actively support a culture of inclusion, ensuring that all members of the Cathedral community, regardless of age, background, digital literacy, or ability, can engage with and benefit from new systems and technologies.

· Create and implement change management plans including stakeholder engagement, communication strategies, training, and accessible support materials.

· Build trust and reduce resistance to change through transparent communication, sensitivity, and practical support.

· Lead the delivery of the Cathedral’s Digital Strategy in collaboration with senior leadership and departmental teams.

Main Terms and Conditions

Employment status: Fixed Term for 2 years

Location: Wells Cathedral, 16 Market Place, Wells, Somerset, BA5 2RB

Hours of work: 35 working hours per week. Core hours are 9.00 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Monday to Friday) with an unpaid lunch break of 1 hour each day. Flexible working will be considered.

Remuneration: £50,000 per annum, payable on the 24th of the month or the nearest working day thereto.

You'll be ultimately responsible for the governance, fundraising, public trust and social impact of North Wales Wildlife Trust. An important part of this role is to ensure we play our part as an active member of the federation of Wildlife Trusts to help secure wins for wildlife beyond our border.

The role will be hybrid (after settling in period) and ideally you will be based in North Wales as we have office facilities available in Bangor or Aberduna. There will be regular travel to off-site meetings.

Who we are looking for

• An experienced senior manager with degree (or degree-equivalent qualification).

• Experience of organisational leadership within a financially accountable organisation, whether in the charitable, public, or private sector.

• Proven commercial strategy / business experience, with the ability to generate and manage diverse income streams, including through partnerships, grants, trading, or other business related activities.

• Experience with a wide range of stakeholders and partners and working with them to achieve programme aims.
