About the role

We’re looking for a Individual Giving Officer with Individual Giving or project management experience to join our Individual Giving, Legacies and E-commerce Team. 

Working within the Individual Giving, Legacies and E-commerce Team, you’ll have a varied role managing and supporting the delivery of  fundraising appeals which will recruit, retain and develop supporters across our acquisition and retention programmes. About the role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Social Worker to support children and young people diagnosed with cancer in our Liverpool Team.

We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality support tailored to the needs of the children and young people and their families using a needs based assessment framework. The work we do is rewarding, but also complex and demanding. You will be part of a close-knit Young Lives vs Cancer social work team, working with an established NHS multi-disciplinary team and services in the community across Liverpool and Merseyside.

This role is part home, part site-based – within the parameters of our hybrid working arrangements you will work flexibly across home, Liverpool Clatterbridge Cancer Centre and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Desirably, you will have financial experience within an international humanitarian context or similar, including knowledge and experience of IATI reporting. In addition to this, knowledge of charity accounting and tax issues, including the Charities SORP.

Elrha are a remote first organisation and as such this role can be based from home, anywhere within the UK. There are also offices available for those who would like to spend time in the office. We are looking for an experienced HR generalist who also has experience of employee relations within a non-corporate environment who is also familiar with working within a unionised environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, creative and solutions focused with the ability to think innovatively and respond flexibly to changing situations. You'll be the first point of contact for People Services queries, responding via in-person meetings, MS Teams, phone, and email. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will help you build strong working relationships across the organisation.

You will have proven experience working in a busy HR environment with solid understanding of HR policies, employment law, and best practices. Importantly, you will also be experienced advising on employee relations issues. Managing an active caseload effectively, you’ll be organised and have great problem-solving skills.

The Prospect Research and Insights Manager will strength the organisation’s fundraising infrastructure by managing prospect research, pipeline development, data management, and operational delivery across all income streams. This Manager will be responsible for leading on the reporting on moves management and informing the wider Development team of giving trends. Reporting to the Director of Development, you will create templates and systems to aid efficiency of processes and assist colleagues to successfully cultivate and steward major donors.

The selected candidate will have proven experience in prospect research, experience in managing systems and pipelines to create insight and will have the proven ability to analyse, interpret and present data clearly. You will ideally have experience in a performing arts or cultural setting and will have knowledge fundraising trends and practice across various income streams.

This role is integral in supporting t to devhe charityelop its presence in the trust and foundations world. You will help to develop and manage a high-quality pipeline of new trust and foundation opportunities and inspire them with the potential of the organisation's impactful projects. Alongside exciting development work, this role will be responsible for stewarding and engaging their growing portfolio of warm supporters to provide inspirational impact reporting. This role will provide the successful candidate with excellent career development opportunities in the sector and invaluable experience such as supporting a multi-million-pound Arts Council England grant. This officer will also work alongside a strong Fundraising team and share the space with the Books and Design teams.

The successful candidate will have a knowledge of and experience in fundraising, perhaps in a broader fundraising role that has touched on trusts and foundations. You will have a strong desire to develop your skills in grant giving, as well as a desire to make a difference to disadvantaged children and families.

This is a hybrid role, based from their offices in Battersea, London. It has a salary of £30k - £35k.
