Partnerships Manager

Reporting to the Head of Resource Mobilisation, the Partnerships Manager will be a pivotal role within the organisation's fundraising function; leading a team of three, managing a portfolio of high-value private donors while co-leading the development and delivery of a new business strategy to significantly grow income from trusts & foundations and corporate funders. You'll help shape and deliver ambitious 7 - 8 figure funding opportunities, working closely with senior leaders to develop compelling plans, proposals and strategic engagement approaches for major global donors. The post also plays a key leadership role across priority moments in the calendar, supporting strategic engagement around key global events (including Climate Week activity in London and New York), and ensuring donor visibility and requirements are effectively reflected across cross-organisational projects and communications.

The successful candidate will bring strong experience in partnerships fundraising and donor stewardship, with a demonstrable track record of securing and managing significant trust/foundation and/or corporate support. You'll be confident leading new business strategy, high-quality prospecting, and complex relationship management, able to influence senior stakeholders and coordinate activity across teams to deliver ambitious outcomes. You'll also have the credibility to oversee robust budgeting and proposal development for large-scale bids, and the leadership skills to line manage and develop a team in a fast-moving, values-led organisation committed to inclusive and ethical practice.

This is an opportunity to work with and support a wide range of organisations, individuals. It will involve designing and delivering funding calls, managing relationships with grantees and exercising sound judgement, whilst capturing learning to inform future decision making and strategy. There will also be an important database and reporting aspect to this role, where accuracy and process management expertise will be essential.

The role is full-time and will be primarily office based at lovely offices in Central London. 

The person:
The successful candidate will have substantial grant-making experience alongside previous exposure to the thematic aspects of the Trust’s work on young people’s mental health and wellbeing. Exposure to research and/or impact measurement tools and methodologies will also be very useful.

This role would be suited to an adept grant‑maker who brings strong sector awareness and is energised by continuously deepening their understanding of youth mental health. Thoughtful, analytical and highly organised, this person will be a collaborative self-starter in addition to having excellent communication skills.

Alongside this, you will contribute to wider knowledge sharing, helping to strengthen understanding of green finance across protected landscapes.

You’ll be working in a fast-evolving and commercially emerging space, where your ability to combine technical expertise with strategic insight will be critical.

You will bring strong experience in financial and/or ecological modelling within environmental or natural capital settings, with a deeper or more specialised focus on green finance and nature markets. This might include experience gained within organisations such as environmental consultancies, natural capital firms, or market-focused organisations such as Environment Bank or similar.

Comfortable working with complexity, you’ll be confident building and interrogating financial models, understanding investment drivers, and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. You will bring a high level of attention to detail alongside the ability to see the bigger strategic picture.

A proactive and collaborative approach is essential, as is the ability to work independently within a remote team while managing multiple strands of work.

Finance Officer
Full-Time | London | £40,000

Prospectus are delighted to be supporting a wonderful membership body in their search for a Finance Officer. You will be proactive, detail orientated and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of their financial operations. You will have experience managing payroll, bookkeeping and will be an experienced user of Sage 50. You will be collaborative, a good communicator and comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels. You will bring a high level of accuracy, work efficiently and be able to prioritise effectively.

You will be an experienced Finance Officer, who is AAT or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), or have relevant equivalent experience. As the organisation’s Finance Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the charity, with a primary focus on bookkeeping, payroll and banking. You will also contribute to wider financial processes, such as audit support, and helping to strengthen the organisations financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Sage 50 Accounts, including sales and purchase ledgers, and bank receipts/payments
• Process and verify expenses, grants, and prize claims
• Analyse and post credit card transactions
• Manage and process supplier and staff payments
• Perform bank and investment account reconciliations
• Handle accounts queries from staff, trustees, and suppliers
• Prepare monthly payroll and pension contributions
• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register
• Post and update prepayments and accruals
• Support the annual audit process
• Provide ad hoc support to the Finance Director

Wimbledon Guild is a community charity offering practical help and support, so that no one in the London Borough of Merton has to face life’s challenges alone.

We are a dynamic charity focused on delivering a wide range of excellent services to people in Merton. We work to:

• Reduce social isolation and loneliness
• Help people who are experiencing difficulties
• Enable older people to be active and healthy

We support older people to stay independent, offer Talking Therapies to improve mental health, and offer grant funding to tackle poverty. We collaborate closely with the London Borough of Merton, the NHS and a wide range of local charities and businesses and play a key role in Merton’s voluntary sector.

Our skilled, professional and committed team of 55 staff and 270 volunteers work hard to create a welcoming and inclusive community environment and we receive excellent client feedback.

The Role

We are looking for a Chief Executive to provide effective leadership and management of Wimbledon Guild and its team to ensure strategic development and the long-term sustainability of the organisation.
Our current Chief Executive will be leaving in December 2026, after 14 years leading Wimbledon Guild. We are in a strong position, with an excellent reputation and ambitious plans for returning to our refurbished building in January 2027.

Our new CEO will be joining us at a time of unprecedented demand for our services, with funding sources under ever increasing pressure.

About You

We are seeking an inspirational leader and strategic thinker with a passion for social impact, who possesses:

• Strategic Leadership and Vision: Significant senior leadership experience within the voluntary, public, charity or community sectors, with a proven ability of developing new opportunities and entrepreneurial activity within an organisation.
• Operational & Financial Expertise: Strong financial competence, including income generation as well as budget management and forecasting.
• Governance Experience: A track record of working effectively with and reporting to a Board or governing body to ensure strong governance, transparency and comply with all relevant legal regulatory and Charity Act requirements.
• Staff Leadership: To maintain a supportive, positive and committed performance culture, and ensure effective recruitment, development, performance management and wellbeing of staff.
