Responsibilities of our Digital Video Production Officer:
- Support with filming and producing high-quality, engaging video content for digital channels
- Work closely with welfare teams to ensure content adheres to cat welfare standards
- Work with Brand and Marketing to ensure content is in line with brand and welfare guidelines
- Provide bespoke video versions relevant to the appropriate publishing channel
- Collaborate with external agencies and freelancers to brief, review, and provide feedback on outsourced video content
- Support with the approval/sign off process for any video produced by/for Cats Protection
- Maintain the Cats Protection video database
About the Digital team:
- Around 11 team members make up the team, which includes the social media, website and video production functions
- The team is responsible for the delivery of the strategy and content for the Cats Protection social media channels, website and other channels and audiences both internally and externally.
What we’re looking for in our Digital Video Production Officer:
- Experience working in a professional video production role
- Previous professional video editing experience, using professional video editing programmes such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Resolve or similar
- Experience of working to house style/brand guidelines
- Experience working in a digital marketing team, as part of a large organisation
- Strong understanding of the role of video in today’s digital marketing landscape
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
- Knowledge of video graphics techniques

Team: Lifeline
Location: Remote with travel across the UK, approximately once per month (more frequent initially) to facilitate meetings, provide presentations and line management
Work pattern: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Salary: Up to £49,655.50 per year
Contract: 12-month fixed term contract

Responsibilities of our National Lifeline Service Manager:
- lead the team to ensure the day to day running of our Lifeline service
- line management of the Lifeline Managers across the UK
- shape and manage any planned expansion of the project into new areas
- promote and develop the service across the sector
About the Lifeline team:
- Lifeline is a pet fostering service for anyone fleeing domestic abuse
- the majority of our referrals come from women fleeing domestic abuse via women-only services.
- the service places cats into volunteer foster homes on a temporary basis until their owners can be reunited with them.
- our team consists of a National Lifeline Service Manager, Lifeline Managers and Lifeline Caseworkers
What we’re looking for in our National Lifeline Service Manager:
- experience in leading teams
- experience of working with or on behalf of vulnerable adults/families
- excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relations
- ability to deal with sensitive situations and cope under pressure in an appropriate manner
- strong organisational skills and able to prioritise and manage workload
- project management skills
- a UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle or good access to public transport with connections across the UK
- strong IT skills including Microsoft Office

Responsibilities of our Community Operations Volunteer Team Manager:
- Lead high-quality volunteer management across a defined geographical area, ensuring that volunteer-led activities are delivered effectively, safely, and in line with organisational policies and best practice
- Responsible for the full volunteer lifecycle, including the recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing support of a diverse volunteer team
- Play a vital part in enabling the successful delivery of Cats Protection’s work across centres, branches, regional hubs, and specific projects
About the Community Operations team:
- The community operations team is responsible for supporting our volunteers in centres and branches to work towards our strategy – All for Cats.
- Our centres and branches care for thousands of cats each year until they are able to find a loving new home.
- The team consists of a Regional Community Operations Manager, Branch Development Manager and Community Operations Volunteer Team Manager plus the wider volunteering teams
What we’re looking for in our Community Operations Volunteer Team Manager:
- Experience of team leading/supervising employees and volunteers
- Good understanding of volunteer management
- Demonstrates empathy and understanding when addressing emotive issues
- Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative, accurately and under pressure
- Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Responsibilities of our Information Governance Officer:
- Ensure we handle personal data responsibly and comply with data protection laws
- Help maintain systems and processes that keep information secure and protect privacy
- Monitor and review data protection training across the organisation
- Respond to data protection requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Investigate potential data breaches and assist with resolution
- Support with audits related to information governance and compliance
- work with teams to ensure their activities are compliant with data protection legislation
- Carry out administrative activities as required
About the Information Governance team:
The Information Governance team develop, deliver and maintain the essential systems and processes that underpin information governance and data protection compliance. The team is small but sits within the wider IT and Data Governance department.
What we’re looking for in our Information Governance Officer:
- Experience in a relevant, data governance role
- ISO Certified GDPR qualification or equivalent
- Experience of responding to data protection requests and enquiries
- Experience of reviewing compliance documentation and process maps
- Experience reviewing compliance training material
- Strong ability to work alone, on initiative
- Excellent organisational and communication skills and attention to detail
- Broad knowledge of data protection legislation (GDPR, DPA 2018, PECR)
- Fundraising compliance would be an advantage
