Work pattern: 35 hours per week, rota is across Monday – Saturday
Salary: Up to £27,466.16 per annum
Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2027

Responsibilities of our Retail Online Hub Manager:
- To lead, manage, coach, and develop an online team of employees and volunteers to be the best they can be, maximise our online performance through the safe day-to-day operational management of online activities.
- Take ownership for delivery of the online income, expenditure and operating profit budgets and other key measures of performance.
- To support the work of Cats Protection, acting as brand ambassador, being a role model for the values and behaviours of the Charity, taking responsibility for online operations and related people management.
About the Retail team:
- We currently operate 80 shops across the country and an online trading operation for new and donated goods
- Retail and trading play a key role in growing income and introducing new audiences to Cats Protection.
What we’re looking for in our Retail Online Hub Manager:
- Experience of managing eBay or other comparable online operations
- Demonstrable learning and experience from functioning in a relevant ecommerce environment
- Previous experience of line managing a team and building a culture of achieving collective goals
- Ability to provide a positive experience for shop team colleagues through effective engagement and management
- A good understanding of the challenges of working in the voluntary sector and specifically charity retail
- Full, valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle

Location: Hybrid in Truro, Cornwall with regular travel across the region
Work pattern: 35 hours per week to include occasional weekends and evenings once or twice a month
Salary: Up to £30,809.83 per year

Responsibilities of our Community Operations Volunteer Team Manager:
- Lead high-quality volunteer management across a defined geographical area, ensuring that volunteer-led activities are delivered effectively, safely, and in line with organisational policies and best practice
- Responsible for the full volunteer lifecycle, including the recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing support of a diverse volunteer team
- Play a vital part in enabling the successful delivery of Cats Protection’s work across centres, branches, regional hubs, and specific projects
About the Community Operations team:
- The community operations team is responsible for supporting our volunteers in centres and branches to work towards our strategy – All for Cats.
- Our centres and branches care for thousands of cats each year until they are able to find a loving new home.
- The team consists of a Regional Community Operations Manager, Branch Development Manager and Community Operations Volunteer Team Manager plus the wider volunteering teams
What we’re looking for in our Community Operations Volunteer Team Manager:
- Experience of team leading/supervising employees and volunteers
- Good understanding of volunteer management
- Demonstrates empathy and understanding when addressing emotive issues
- Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative, accurately and under pressure
- Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Responsibilities of our Digital Video Production Officer:
- Support with filming and producing high-quality, engaging video content for digital channels
- Work closely with welfare teams to ensure content adheres to cat welfare standards
- Work with Brand and Marketing to ensure content is in line with brand and welfare guidelines
- Provide bespoke video versions relevant to the appropriate publishing channel
- Collaborate with external agencies and freelancers to brief, review, and provide feedback on outsourced video content
- Support with the approval/sign off process for any video produced by/for Cats Protection
- Maintain the Cats Protection video database
About the Digital team:
- Around 11 team members make up the team, which includes the social media, website and video production functions
- The team is responsible for the delivery of the strategy and content for the Cats Protection social media channels, website and other channels and audiences both internally and externally.
What we’re looking for in our Digital Video Production Officer:
- Experience working in a professional video production role
- Previous professional video editing experience, using professional video editing programmes such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Resolve or similar
- Experience of working to house style/brand guidelines
- Experience working in a digital marketing team, as part of a large organisation
- Strong understanding of the role of video in today’s digital marketing landscape
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
- Knowledge of video graphics techniques
