Purpose
The Philanthropy Leads, reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, are responsible for inspiring new prospective, cultivating and stewarding high-value donors into greater involvement with Christians Against Poverty. They aim to draw supporters closer to the work we do, deepening their relationship and support of CAP. Income from CAP¿s major donors is vital for the future expansion of CAP in the UK.
Each Philanthropy Lead may be allocated one or more area of Philanthropy engagement in order to specialise in, but will be expected to support in any area as required. Such areas include:

Along with seeking direct support for the organisation Christians Against Poverty, there is also an expectation for the postholders to support the raising of funds for the wider movement, particularly for local Church frontline partners.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Implementation & Fundraising
- Implementation of a strategic plan to significantly increase major donor income, with a target of 17.5% of overall revenue within 3 years.
- Implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for major donor income, aligned with CAP's overall strategic priorities.
- Execution of market research and competitor analysis to identify new funding opportunities and best practice in Philanthropic fundraising.
- Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, in order to identify points of engagement and draft appropriate funding bids.
- Represent CAP at high-level events and conferences to build relationships with potential donors and partners.
Major Donor Development
- Manage a designated caseload of high-net-worth individuals or trusts, cultivating deep and meaningful relationships.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings, personalised communications, and bespoke stewardship plans to cultivate and steward major donors.
- Develop compelling restricted funding projects to attract major donor investment.

Vocabulous is an innovative online resource to aid targeted and explicit vocabulary teaching in Key Stage 2 and 3 English lessons. We are a small, fast-growing education technology company looking for an innovative, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our team. Our Operations and Engagement Coordinator will be a key support role, responsible for keeping the business running smoothly day-to-day, while also engaging directly with our schools and teachers.

Purpose: The Fundraising and Admin Officer is responsible for delivering key administrative and fundraising activities that support the achievement of Vision Action’s income generation targets. We are looking for a Co-Director to join the team and be responsible for the overall leadership and strategic direction of the organisation. We are currently looking for an Events Coordinator to support the Events Manager to plan and implement the Trust’s events portfolio programme. This is a rewarding role that comes at a time when there is significant change and progress for those living with cystic fibrosis.

Sitting within our Community and Events Fundraising team reporting to the Events Manager, and working with the other Events Coordinator, you will focus on delivery of high levels of exceptional supporter stewardship to supporters through the events portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- To support the delivery of excellent events experiences for Team CF participants at high profile events such as the London Marathon, Great North Run and London Landmarks Half Marathon.
- To build effective relationships with supporters to promote and encourage participation to maximise fundraising whilst deepening supporter relationships to drive second actions and retention.

The Community and Events Fundraising team all work from home and keep in touch with online team meetings, individual catch ups, as well as in person when required.
This role offers a flexible location. Most of the team are home-based, but this role can be based at our London office (which would require the postholder to attend the office a minimum of two days per week).

The Role
As our Fundraising and Events Assistant you will contribute to Yorkshire Cancer Research’s mission by enhancing brand awareness through supporting the Marketing and Fundraising teams and expanding regional outreach by delivering key events and campaigns throughout the year. Reporting to the Community and Events Fundraising Manager, you will build strong relationships with event participants and fundraisers through excellent communication and customer service. You will also assist in maximising relevant opportunities to generate income for our charity via events and partnership opportunities.
Specifically, you will:
- Be the fundraisers’ representative and ‘champion’, working to deliver first class information about events, the charity and how money raised will help.
- Support event participants and fundraisers set up online giving pages, providing guidance, sending out merchandise and practical support as necessary.
- Keep the CRM database up to date, recording every contact with a supporter accurately and adhering to data protection regulations.
- Support the event planning process by considering participant information needs pre-event, during and post-event. Proactively share ideas for the ideal stewardship (customer journey) with the events and marketing teams to secure their input and support.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure letters, leaflets and other communications (sent by email and/or post) accurately reflect the brand identity, convey key messages and are sent at the most appropriate times/touchpoints.
- Be responsible for stock control, maintaining an accurate inventory of all event equipment and its whereabouts, keep the events section of the stock cupboard tidy.
- Attend a number of Yorkshire Cancer Research and Community Fundraising events each year to support the successful delivery of the event and to gain an understanding of the needs and feedback of participants and their supporters.
- Maintain a record of event participant and fundraising data (sign-ups, attendees, funds raised, etc) and share with the wider team.
- Assist the corporate managers with identifying new corporate relationships.
- Obtain and file photo permissions from events and community fundraisers in line with the charity’s procedures and GDPR obligations and highlight any potential PR opportunities.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- To be educated to minimum A-Level or equivalent, but a degree in an events, business or marketing related discipline is desirable.
- To have proactively worked to advance career or gather work experience through continued professional development relevant to the role and level.
- To have experience of working in the events industry and an understanding of what is involved with organising an event, including how to ensure events are safe and well managed. This experience may have been gained through a full-time role, a volunteering experience, or a degree/ equivalent qualification in events.
- To have customer service experience in a similar or related role. Experience of dealing with customer queries and providing excellent stewardship, going the extra mile to answer all queries in a polite and timely manner.
- To have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to use active listening skills, and write professionally and appropriately for a range of diverse audiences.
- To enjoy delivering excellent customer service and customer/supporter interaction, to be able to develop positive and professional relationships.
- To have excellent organisation skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines. Able to work well in an event situation when timings and quick decision-making making is required.
- To be able to travel across the Yorkshire region.
- To have a full UK driving licence with less than 6 penalty points and the ability to drive the charity’s van.
- To be willing to work out-of-office hours (to attend events at weekends / evenings as appropriate).

About the role
Mission Without Borders is seeking an experienced Salesforce Configuration Specialist to focus on three key areas; Configuring a new Salesforce platform, integration of existing platforms, and supporting users around the world.
As a Salesforce expert and product champion, the post holder will work closely with our existing Salesforce Support Specialists and Salesforce team, configuring the new system as well as being the first point of contact for Salesforce support across all staff in all 18 countries. Working with the system solution designs and architecture design documents created by the Salesforce Systems Architect, they will configure a brand-new Salesforce platform for program and beneficiary management. They will also need to ensure it is integrated with our existing NPSP donor management platform and works with other systems and services across the organisation.
In addition to configuration, they will triage incoming tickets, provide support, fix problems, make configuration changes, and work closely with our International Project Manager and Salesforce Developer and Product Owner to manage change requests.
Who we are looking for
You will have proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator and strong experience implementing new configurations from scratch. Educated to relevant degree level (or equivalent, or qualified by experience), be a certified Salesforce Admin, and have experience with NPSP. NPC would be an advantage.
A logical thinker, excellent problem solver, and an ability to juggle multiple duties and prioritise competing tasks. You must be able to translate solution designs and technical designs into working solutions.
You must be an excellent written and verbal communicator, have strong stakeholder management skills, and be excellent at customer service.
