Our Finance Manager is an essential part of the LRMN team. You will work with colleagues to set and manage budgets, maintain accurate financial records, manage all donor management activities, oversee our banking and ensure all financial and compliance requirements are met. LRMN is a thriving organisation and one of the most established refugee and migrants’ organisations providing services in London but focusing on south and southeast London boroughs. Our services include provision of specialist legal advice and information on immigration, housing and welfare, therapeutic and practical support to women who survived trauma, helping our service users access employment, training and volunteering opportunities, prevention of mental health problems, and helping our clients integrate and engage in their community.

We are currently working in a hybrid model. You would be expected to work at least one to two days/week from our office in Deptford.

About the role

The Director of Membership Services provides strategic leadership for the Membership Services directorate and is therefore responsible for the development and implementation of all Imperial College Union strategy relating to Student Activities, Representation, Advice, Governance and Policy. The role ensure the delivery and resourcing of operating plans, policy and operating procedures to ensure that the Union delivers its strategic objectives across its Membership Services.

The successful candidate will ensure that the directorate develops and delivers impactful and inclusive services which champion and enhance the Student Experience at Imperial College. The Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Service Manager provides leadership for the outsourced service desk, IT supply and Site Service Engineering functions of the DDaT team and is the point of escalation for all Barnardo's colleagues accessing services, incident management and request fulfilment.

The DDaT Service Manager is responsible for the delivery of exceptional Site Service Engineering at over 1000 sites and responsible for the delivery of IT Supply services to over 7000 colleagues across the UK. The Service Manager also owns and operates the outsourced Service Desk via the current partner relationship, working in collaboration with internal technical teams. The Service Manager will report to the Director of Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) and is a member of the DDaT Leadership Team.

Continuous improvement of services, ownership of the service catalogue entries, effective self-help documentation and assets, are core activities of the role, alongside ensuring the delivery of excellent business as usual services, and ownership of key transformation initiatives. Fiscal management of delegated budgets, accurate forecasting are key success factors of the role.

We are looking for an outstanding HR professional to provide compassionate HR support to the whole organisation and play a pivotal role driving initiatives that improve employee experience, engagement and operational efficiency.

As Embrace’s People Advisor, you will play a pivotal role managing the full breadth of day-to-day HR matters and be a key contributor to creating an inclusive, diverse culture in which all staff can flourish and thrive in a hybrid working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day HR support and advice to managers and staff on a range of HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring these reflect the Christian vision and values of Embrace the Middle East.
• Support recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, person specification, conducting interviews, and onboarding new staff.
• Manage Embrace’s HR digital platform and staff data, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
• Coordinate training sessions and all staff coming together days.
• Contribute to the overall success of Embrace through championing HR initiatives that have a positive impact on the charity’s people and culture.

Skills, experience and professional qualifications required:

• CIPD qualified, level 5 or above
• Excellent understanding and application of UK employment law and best practice
• Experience of providing HR support for a remote and flexible working organisation
• Experience of working for a small to medium sized organisation in a HR stand-alone role
• Experience of managing a wide range of employee relations (e.g. disciplinary, grievance, performance improvement, dismissal, absence management), policy development and health & safety compliance
• Experience of managing staff recruitment, selection, onboarding and offboarding
• Experience of managing a cloud-based HR system, integrated with payroll, for the whole organisation
• Analytical skills to draw out useful information to inform reports and actions
• Ability to confidently and cogently influence and support managers at all levels
• Experience of contributing to the creation of a values-led, inclusive and high-performing organisational culture
• Experience managing and maintaining HR systems and reporting tools
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office 365, Excel, HR and payroll cloud-based systems

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Manager to join the Operations team covering West Midlands, West Mercia, and Rochdale.  This is a home-based role but regular travel throughout the area will be required.

The Role

About You

You must be capable of managing a demanding workload and balancing multiple demands efficiently.

Experience in effective partnership working and delivering innovation and change is essential. Strong communication skills are required, including the ability to prepare contract bids, deliver presentations, and develop publicity materials

SANE is a UK-wide mental health charity working to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by mental illness. About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated Wellbeing and Training Officer to support the wellbeing and development of our SANEline volunteers. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our volunteers feel valued and supported to provide a high standard of emotional support to our callers.

Working closely with the Training and Volunteer Manager, you will help ensure that all volunteers receive timely, appropriate and emphatic support. You will also play role in delivering welfare support, planning and delivering training sessions and promoting volunteer engagement and retention.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide valuable, hands-on experience in delivering wellbeing support and training for volunteers who provide emotional support to vulnerable callers.

Salary: £27,000 -29,000 pro rata, depending on experience

About you:

- You must have proven experience of providing emotional support, counselling or therapy to adults.

- You must have proven experience of designing and delivering training in a professional setting.

- You are a warm and confident communicator with the ability to build trust and rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.

The Royal Foundation is recruiting a Research and Impact Manager for the Homewards programme, which seeks to demonstrate that it is possible to end homelessness and inspire others to replicate effective practice.

The successful candidate will be a champion for evidence-led decision making, committed to generating robust research and evaluation and ensuring the programme is grounded in evidence. This role will ensure they generate high quality, compelling evidence about the effectiveness of interventions tested through the programme and facilitate a culture of learning to improve delivery and maximise impact.

This new role will sit within The Royal Foundation’s in-house Research & Impact Team, which provides research and evaluation expertise and delivers key insights across our programmes of work, to help design and deliver programmes and understand impact. This role is central to their effort to make The Royal Foundation evidence-led and cutting edge, helping maximise impact across the range of issues they support.

Core Responsibilities:

• Scope, commission, and manage evaluation projects to generate actionable evidence for commissioning and service delivery, ensuring effective supplier, project management, and contractor relationships
• Monitor project progress to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery of high-quality evaluations, meeting objectives and adhering to policies
• Collate evaluation and programme data for organization-level impact reports
• Analyse research data and conduct desk research to support the Homewards programme team in scoping future activities
• Provide day-to-day support to the Senior Research and Impact Manager in overseeing research and evaluation across the Homewards programme
• Disseminate evidence effectively through various channels and support the interpretation and application of learnings to a wide range of stakeholders
• Provide updates for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board and Homewards partners
• Advise programme partners on research and evaluation design and delivery for action plans
• Identify and mitigate risks through strong project management
• Ensure compliance with Market Research Society (MRS) standards and GDPR for data handling

Candidate:

You will be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing research and evaluation projects
• Strong understanding of evaluation techniques, including expertise in commissioning various evaluation approaches, including process, quantitative impact, and theory-based evaluations
• Experience in developing procurement materials and briefing external suppliers, managing research commissions, and ensuring quality and compliance with financial and contractual requirements
• Proven ability to draft research materials, analyse data, and produce high-quality outputs (quantitative and qualitative)
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from a range of sources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, skilled in communicating research findings to both internal teams and external audiences, including non-researchers
• Able to work independently and prioritise own tasks and time, has an excellent eye for detail, and can work collaboratively and effectively with others
• Optimistic and energetic outlook, keen to maximise the positive change that the Homewards programme can deliver
• Relationship builder. Adaptable and has a flexible approach to plans, able to respond confidently and positively to changing scenarios, seize opportunities and solve problems.
