We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Community Inclusion Officer to support the delivery of our Migration Programme. The role involves building strong, trusting relationships with migrant communities, uncovering what matters to people, and helping them connect, participate, and influence positive change.

You’ll work closely with the Migration Programme Manager to shape, deliver, and grow initiatives that engage and support Central and Eastern European (CEE) and other underrepresented migrant communities across Birmingham and nationally.

Your work will involve delivering existing and developing new projects that empower communities and promote inclusion. By co-creating events, support structures, and opportunities for collaboration, you’ll help foster resilience, amplify migrant voices, and influence local narratives, civic life, and policy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Community Engagement & Relationship Building

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct outreach and engagement with CEE and new migrant communities to build stronger, more representative participation.

• Support the development of new community initiatives to encourage collaboration and leadership.

• Ensure migrants—especially those from marginalised groups such as LGBTQ+ people, disabled people, and those experiencing mental health challenges—are included and heard.

Key Tasks:

• Hold regular one-to-one meetings to understand people’s concerns, hopes, and ambitions.

• Identify and support active community members to develop confidence, participation, and leadership skills.

• Support community groups to connect, collaborate, and take part in shared projects.

• Amplify migrant voices in public conversations and forums.

• Create and deliver communications plans (including social media) to connect and inspire active citizens.

• Support and encourage local initiatives, events, and community projects.

• Deliver workshops, meetings, panel discussions, and cultural celebrations.

• Organise both online and in-person events to strengthen community ties.

2. Project Delivery and Coordination

• Plan, schedule, and manage activities using tools such as Asana.

• Ensure events and activities are delivered within budget and on time.

• Evaluate project effectiveness and incorporate lessons learned.

• Support the development of impactful local activities, events, and community-led initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to collaborate with external organisations and campaigns.

• Monitor migration policy developments and identify key issues for community response.

3. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

• Prepare and monitor evaluations of projects and activities.

• Assist in compiling reports for funders and stakeholders.

• Support data collection and maintain accurate financial records.

• Contribute to Centrala’s fundraising initiatives.

Person Specification

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Lived experience of migration.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Proven success building relationships with diverse communities, especially CEE and new migrant groups.

• Strong understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles.

• Ability to work independently with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.

• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.

• Experience managing conflict and challenging situations.

• Budget management experience.

Role

In this role, you will provide pro-active specialist, trauma-informed emotional, practical and advocacy support for male, trans and non-binary survivors aged 13–24 who have experienced sexual violence and are currently engaged with, or actively considering engaging with, the Criminal Justice System (CJS). This includes young people who present with additional or intersecting needs (e.g. mental health, neurodiversity, disability, immigration, homelessness, substance use, care-experienced backgrounds, or LGBTQIA+ identity). The role empowers young people to understand their rights, navigate the CJS, and make informed decisions about reporting, ongoing involvement, and special measures.

Our ISVAs work with clients currently residing in any London borough, or if the abuse was committed in any London borough. Travel across London will be expected.

Purpose of the job 

 In UK Youth’s Impact department, we find, create and use evidence to respond to the needs and preferences of young people and the professionals who support them. We conduct research and evaluations to prove and improve the impact of youth work, and we co-design high-quality programmes and support offers that can be scaled. This new role will work across these areas, supporting research and evaluation projects with real implications for policy and practice. 

 Reporting to the Evaluation & Learning Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a portfolio of research and evaluation projects. This will involve conducting research in-house and coordinating with external partners and the organisations we fund to build and share high-quality evidence. There will be opportunities to lead on fieldwork, data analysis, reporting and insight sharing with strategic guidance and hands-on support from other members of the team.

This is an exciting role leading our committed policy team leading the fight to end child poverty in the UK. The development and implementation of a UK-wide cross-government child poverty strategy means this is a great time to join CPAG as we look to influence policy makers to adopt our evidence-based policy solutions to child poverty.

We are looking for someone to take a lead role in developing evidence-based policy positions to support CPAG’s influencing and campaigns work. About the Role

Christian Aid’s Resilient Futures Fund (CARFF) is an ambitious new initiative mobilising capital for climate adaptation and resilience across the Global South. We are building a pipeline of innovative enterprises supporting communities on the frontline of the climate crisis, and we are now seeking a Senior New Business Development Officer to help drive this mission.

This role sits at the heart of CARFF’s growth. You will shape and deliver a dynamic fundraising and partnership strategy, working closely with the Head of CARFF to cultivate high-value supporters, deepen relationships across the philanthropic and impact investment worlds, and help establish CARFF as one of Christian Aid’s most exciting emerging ventures. You will design compelling donor experiences, use insight and analysis to guide your approach, and work collaboratively across Christian Aid to embed CARFF into wider fundraising efforts.

About You

You will bring a strong track record in securing major gifts or high-value partnerships, confidence in developing fundraising strategies across diverse audiences, and an instinct for building meaningful, long-term relationships. Role purpose

To generate sustainable income and grow our community of supporters through regional fundraising campaigns, community fundraising, local trusts and corporates, and regional membership recruitment. The Southeast and East Asian Centre (SEEAC) is a community-led CIC supporting East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) migrants and refugees in the UK. We work to build an equitable society where ESEA communities thrive.

We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead our programme team, deliver high-impact community services and advocacy projects, and strengthen partnerships across the sector. This role is central to coordinating multiple projects, managing staff, developing proposals, overseeing budgets, ensuring monitoring and evaluation, and representing SEEAC publicly with partners, media and stakeholders. The post works closely with the Executive Director and Partnership Development Manager, including on fundraising.

About you:
You bring 5+ years’ experience leading programme design, delivery, monitoring and reporting plus people management experience and strong communication, organisational and financial skills. You are confident engaging with diverse communities, funders and public audiences, and committed to safeguarding and data protection. Knowledge of issues affecting migrants and refugees (e.g., employment rights, discrimination, health inequality) and strong writing skills are essential. Experience with ESEA communities or other minoritised groups is highly desirable, as is lived experience of migration-related issues.
