Job Purpose : To plan, deliver and evaluate youth club activities for young people and ensure that all safeguarding, regulatory and health & safety requirements are met.To actively engage young people in informal learning opportunitiesthat promote their physical, mental, social and emotional development.

The Role

This is a key role within Revitalise Trust, to help meet our fundraising targets by effectively managing a UK portfolio of existing donors and sourcing and securing new ones. The Right Candidate

• Significant fundraising experience, or a similar environment in raising funds to support an initiative, bringing in c. £2-3m in funds a year, including new funding.

• Proactive, organised and solution focussed with an exceptional eye for detail.

This peer support project is delivered in partnership with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust to support Carers of people with mental health conditions.  This project will work to support Carers through one-to-one support, outreach, training and peer support groups.

About The Role: 

Using your lived experience of caring for someone with a mental health condition, and a strengths-based approach, you will support mental health Carers in their caring role.  You will provide person centred one-to-one- support, information, signposting, and advocacy, develop, and facilitate peer support groups and deliver training and outreach sessions at different locations across the borough.

Our client is looking for a creative and committed freelance Project Officer to help shape and deliver the next phase of their programme, designed to prepare care-experienced young people for their first tenancy and independent living.
 
The Project Officer will lead on developing and adapting engaging, practical content for both in-person workshops and digital learning formats. Oaklands & St Kilda consists of two supported accommodation services, each providing six mental health rehabilitation units for young people aged 18-25 who may have experienced a mental health-related hospital admission. The aim is to support young people to gain and develop the necessary skills for independent living and to manage transitions from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to Adult Mental Health Services.

Together, these services support up to 12 young people at any one time, offering a welcoming, supportive environment on a spot-purchase basis.

The successful candidate will deputise for the Service Manager when required. This includes direct line management, leadership, coaching, and supporting Specialist Support Workers, Support Workers, and Waking Night Support Workers. Responsibilities also involve ensuring compliance with current legislation, contractual requirements, financial regulations, and Look Ahead's Policies and Procedures.

The role of Deputy Manager will involve five 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

A few practical things:

• This role is hybrid, involving a mixture of working from home and from our Central London office.

• This role is the equivalent of 3 days per week, however we are flexible to accommodate the regular working hours that work for you, between 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. In some services, this will include providing physical, domestic, emotional and social care. What you'll do:

About you 

Our ideal candidate is a great communicator, with experience in content planning, social media content creation and management, newsletter copywriting, website management, and graphic design. They should be well-versed in crafting narratives for a variety of audiences and outputs, and managing an organisational communications calendar.

The role 

Key components of the role include: 

1. Social media content development - collaborate with internal subject specialists to produce consistent and frequent on-brand written and visual content for social channels, in support of brand and advocacy goals. You’ll use Canva and Adobe Creative Suite and AgoraPulse for this. 

2. Content briefing - craft high-quality creative briefs (for copy, design, multimedia) to be followed by internal staff or external suppliers where required.
