We’re Recruiting – Fundraising Manager 

From your UK home-base you’ll be flying the flag for the charity outside of Wales as a Fundraiser. You’ll put on quality fundraising events and build strong relationships through our reputation and Welsh links making a difference when it comes to people with cancer.

Picture being our Fundraising Manager and putting on fundraising events such as dinners and corporate sponsored events like golf or racing days. And, linking with London in Wales Week promoting networking opportunities with grant-givers, major donors, commercial, and corporate sources. Plus, you’ll help manage and set up our high value business network committees outside of Wales which we’ve already made a start on.

In this Fundraising job you can expect to be doing things like:

•  Sales & Relationship Management – you’ll be looking after a portfolio of our new and established individual and corporate high net worth donors
• Business Growth Development – you’ll have five figure income targets to meet so will plan your client cultivation work to report and present how your delivery is going
• Collaborating – you’ll interact with our key internal stakeholders about your work and join a team of colleagues across the business where sharing and building on ideas and taking on feedback is welcomed
•  Networking – you’ll promote ways our donors and prospective clients can engage with our work and navigate relationships to grow and build connections

The details

Working 28 hours per week flexibly you’ll need a UK work base. The salary is £29,600 (or £37,000 FTE)

Days and hours can be built in and around our standard operating week as set out in our staff benefits. We’re open to making the working week fit into your own lifestyle and the nature and needs of this type of Fundraising role. With a lot of autonomy in where you run events to meet your annual target there may need to be some travel to a city/location where you’re generating the income or some events you run may be in evenings or weekends. 

Around going to work events for the role the rest of the job can be done from home anywhere in the UK. Our Cardiff City Centre Head Office is always available to you too. Most Team meetings and day to day colleague work is handled remotely but we’d expect to see you in the office for things such as our quarterly team meetings.

We are looking for a Community Events Manager to deliver and portfolio of digital and physical fundraising and engagement events.

The Role

Experience in event management, ideally within the charity or community sector.

The Role

Service Manager (High Wycombe) Location: One Recovery Bucks, High Wycombe Salary: £37,588 - £40,478 per annum Job Type: Permanent, 37 hours per week Since 2017, One Recovery Bucks (ORB), commissioned by Buckinghamshire County Council, has been providing specialized support to adults with drug and alcohol issues in the Buckingham area. The service operates as a partnership between an NHS Trust, MPFT Inclusion, and the well-established charity, Aquarius. Serving over 1,850 adults annually, the service is delivered across several locations, including Aylesbury (40%) and High Wycombe (60%), as well as satellite sites in the region. ORB offers a diverse range of services, utilizing various delivery models— in-person, online, and by phone. The support provided includes needle exchange, counseling, group work, access to detox and rehab, clinical interventions, and psycho-social support. The Service Manager role encompasses three primary responsibilities: Day-to-Day Team Management: Oversee a team of approximately 28 staff based at the High Wycombe site Line Management: Supervise 10 recovery workers and complex needs practitioners employed by Aquarius. The remaining team members are supported by two experienced senior managers from Inclusion KPI Compliance: Ensure compliance with Buckinghamshire County Council’s KPIs, overseeing each individual's treatment journey from referral to successful completion. The Role:
 
As a Contracts Manager, you will be at the heart of creating, implementing, and managing contracts and procurement processes, ensuring they are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with the organisation’s strategic goals. Main responsibilities:
 

• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational standards. Oversee the entire contract lifecycle and maintain a comprehensive database of all contracts.
• Procurement: Lead and support the procurement lifecycle, from requests for information/proposals to performance management plans. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong supplier relationships.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related and procurement requests. Liaise with stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business goals and provide guidance on best practices.
• Reporting: Analyse and report on supplier spend and financial performance, collaborating with the finance department for accurate financial reporting and budgeting.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in contract management and procurement.

Requirements:
 

• Experience in contract management and procurement, with a strong understanding of legal terminology and concepts.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and supplier management.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills, leadership and decision-making abilities, adaptability.
• Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

About the Independent Service Manager role

We are looking for an experienced childcare professional to manage our England wide service for complaints under the Children Act (1989) and Independent Person service for Secure Accommodation Reviews for children placed in secure children’s home under section 25 of the Children Act (1989).

The role will be responsible for the delivery of this national service managing a group of committed and dedicated Independent Person, as well as managing the relationships with our commissioning authorities. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring excellent service delivery that meets internal and external performance measures. They will hold responsibility for quality assuring work undertaken via contact with Independent Persons and scrutiny of investigation reports.

THE ROLE
