Kingston Bereavement Support (KBS) is the only bereavement service in Kingston Upon Thames. We are a registered provider to local GPs and an organisational member of the Childhood Bereavement Network. The Service Manager will provide strategic leadership in the development and delivery of a high-quality service for our clients. This role will drive continuous learning, service improvements, and strong partnership engagement to ensure that KBS provides the best support possible. Role Overview and Main Responsibilities
One of the main areas of this role is to improve the Digital Marketing systems of the college. This involves managing multiple projects and supervising other team members within their roles. - Manage team members for the maintenance and development of the college’s website, SEO, user journey experience, and website assets
- Support and collaborate with the Social Media officer to ensure digital marketing across our platforms, including LinkedIn for digital community engagement.
- Monitor and review performance of digital marketing channels for analytical reporting and making recommendations for improvement.
- Email marketing across stakeholder groups to support recruitment and engagement for the college. This includes the management of Mailchimp and ensuring Donorfy data is up to date.
- Direct marketing to students and partners for college courses, training options, collaborative design, delivery and lifelong learning. This may include digital marketing via website, social media, email, content marketing, print marketing and campaigns.
- Developing a digital marketing campaigns calendar and system for use within the team including the implementation of campaign briefs and tracking of campaigns across ANCC products
- Play an active role within the team to help at promotional events, including national exhibitions and conferences, at the college and elsewhere
- Assist the team with organising college open days and other promotional events (graduations, multicultural evenings, carols at Easneye etc).
- Work creatively with the team to continue to develop strong relationships with ANCC alumni through digital communications, and maximising opportunities for engagement

We seek a Finance Manager to lead the day to day running of the charity’s finances including overseeing the work of our outsourced financial provider. Responsibilities
As this is a new role, responsibilities are expected to evolve but some key items include:
- Financial Oversight: Overseeing the outsourced finance provider, ensuring service delivery meets organisational needs and deadlines. You will be the primary liaison between our financial services provider and the staff, ensuring that they make payments on behalf of the organisation, runs payroll, completes the bookkeeping via QuickBooks, the monthly management accounts, and the annual statutory accounts.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Preparing and monitoring annual organisational budgets including a mid-year adjustment, cash flow forecasts, financial models and annual accounts to support the annual business cycle and fundraising bids.
- Reporting: Finalising monthly management accounts prepared by outsourced financial provider, deliver financial reports for the COO, senior leadership, and trustees, and preparing donor financial reporting.
- Financial Strategy and Investment Oversight: Working with the COO to manage financial resources and reserves including developing the investment policy to support the long-term goals of the charity.
- Audit & Compliance: Leading on annual audits, maintain compliance with UK charity finance regulations, and ensure adherence to funder requirements.
- Programmatic financial support: Working closely with the programmes teams to ensure their payments processes run smoothly with the outsourced financial provider, and regularly reviewing their grant and event expenditure is in line with their own managed budgets.
- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement best practices, such as working with Operations to improve payments & expenses software, opening new bank accounts, or finding new platforms to reduce international payment fees.

As Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, payroll, and grant tracking. What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 2 years’ finance experience in the charity/not-for-profit sector.
- Accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Strong skills in QuickBooks and financial reporting.

The charity has grown steadily and now needs an experienced HR professional to help shape and strengthen their people processes, policies, and frameworks as they continue to evolve.
Reporting to the People Director and working within a small HR and Ops team, you'll be ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting key HR initiatives. The role doesn’t involve people management, making it perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on and collaborative within a close-knit team.
There will be no people management responsibilities in this role and so is open to those who are yet to have this experience. This role will require candidates who have been exposed to the full-remit of HR.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing first-line advice and support on employee relations matters
Leading on HR operational rollouts (e.g. performance management frameworks)
Developing, updating, and embedding HR policies and procedures
Delivering staff and manager training and supporting L&D initiatives
Overseeing the recruitment process and ensuring a positive candidate experience
What we’re looking for:
Strong experience in HR operations and first-level employee relations
Confident in implementing HR policies and frameworks
Some exposure to L&D and supporting recruitment
Collaborative, proactive, and values-led approach
Charity sector experience is highly desirable, though not essential
No CIPD qualification required – we’re more interested in your practical experience and people skills
