What’s your mission?
Ada is seeking a dynamic and proactive Apprenticeship Partnerships Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing and maintaining partnerships with employers to support the growth and success of our apprenticeship programmes.
Driving New Business Growth:
● Proactively identify and nurture new employer partnership opportunities through focused desk research and strategic, targeted outreach.
● Use labor market intelligence, industry reports, and competitor analysis to build a qualified list of priority prospects across key sectors.
● Map organisational structures to pinpoint and engage relevant decision-makers, tailoring outreach to maximize response rates.
● Generate and qualify high-potential leads, booking high-quality appointments that enable the partnerships team to drive employer conversion.
● Consistently contribute to a strong and sustainable pipeline, helping to increase overall conversion rates from prospect to active employer partner.
Promotional Activities:
● Represent Ada at internal and external networking events, leveraging opportunities to expand our influence and strengthen our partnerships.
● Respond to incoming enquiries from potential employers and contribute to proposal writing.
● Craft compelling case studies that highlight the impactful outcomes for our employer partners and apprentices.
Partner Development:
● Strengthen employer engagement through proactive measures such as Ada’s annual employer survey, hosting feedback sessions, and actively collaborating on programme enhancements etc.
● Drive customer (employer partner) success through rigorous reporting of cohort progress and swiftly resolving any issues in collaboration with Ada skills coaches, academic and operational teams.
Partner Onboarding:
● Streamline the onboarding process for employer partners, ensuring seamless execution of contracts and compliance with ESFA funding rules, while providing continuous support and communication until completion.

About the Program
The Europe Regional Finance program has evolved out of our Financial Regulation and Policy Program that began in 2019 with a narrow focus on European central banks. Since then, we've expanded to shape financial regulation and policy globally to accelerate clean energy and create lasting systemic change in how public finance addresses climate challenges. Now the Europe Regional Finance program will focus on EU Policy and Finance and UK Policy and Finance.
About The Role
The purpose of this role is to contribute to achieving the objectives in the EU Financial Policy and Regulation project, specifically the work on public finance, fiscal policy and industrial strategy. Together with partners and allies, this role will help stop the political polarisation of net zero and contribute to building the broader case for public investment by establishing and propagating a narrative linking the opportunities of the clean energy transition with improving conditions for households and communities. This role sees the big picture and can translate it into actionable plans for maximum impact.
We support networks of organisations to work together to achieve outcomes that would not be possible by individual organisations acting alone. We expect all roles at Sunrise to actively support the capacity building of these networks and partner organisations.
About You
You have experience working on public finance, fiscal policy, or industrial strategy. You understand what it takes to hold the big picture, and translate complicated campaign strategies into actionable steps. You enjoy digging into the policy details, but are able to focus on the key ways to move the campaign forward for maximum impact. You’re able to work with diverse networks of organisations from trade unions to business leaders. You have a strong understanding of the political context which dictates our work and what's possible, but also innovative in thinking through solutions and opportunities to do things differently. You have experience working in Europe. You’re flexible and willing to change course when needed and respond to opportunities, but are able to keep the systemic change we want to achieve in mind.
Key Responsibilities

Required skills and experience

About Us
Metabolic Support UK is the leading organisation for people living with inherited metabolic disorders (IMDs) and their families. We provide expert support and advocacy, champion research, and work with health services and policy-makers to ensure people with IMDs and their families get the care they need and deserve.
The Role
We are looking for a curious and committed Research & Policy Officer to help us build the evidence base to improve the lives of people affected by IMDs. Reporting to the Head of Insight & Advocacy, you will play a key role in delivering our research projects, keeping tabs on relevant policy developments, and helping shape our responses to consultations.
Key Responsibilities
Research (under supervision of the Head of Insight & Advocacy):

Support the design, planning, and delivery of qualitative and quantitative research projects

Conduct literature reviews, stakeholder mapping, and data analysis

Contribute to survey development, focus groups, and interviews with people living with IMDs, families, clinicians and other stakeholders

GamCare is looking for dedicated Night Shift Helpline Advisers to provide essential support to those affected by gambling-related harm.
GamCare offers helpline support through multiple channels, including our Freephone Helpline, Live Chat, WhatsApp, and other digital platforms such as forums and chatrooms. The Helpline operates 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring support is always available.
As the first point of contact, you will offer help, advice, and emotional support to individuals struggling with their own or someone else’s gambling. You will work exclusively on night shifts as part of our award-winning Helpline team (Helpline of the Year), following a two-week rotating schedule with shifts running from 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM.
The working hours are 28 hours per week (average). Hours are between 10.30pm and 7.30am.
In return, we will provide you with comprehensive training, regular supervision, and a full CPD programme to support your development.
About You
As the successful candidate, you will hold a professional qualification in Health, Social Care, Psychology, Youth or Community Care, such as NVQ Level 3 or above, or a Diploma in Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies, Advice, and Guidance. Alternatively, you will have demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable individuals affected by addiction harm and/or complex needs.
We also welcome applications from those with lived experience of gambling-related harm, provided they have professional experience in a supportive environment and a strong understanding of safeguarding legislation.
You will be able to engage effectively, sensitively, and with empathy when supporting callers reaching out to GamCare. The ability to deliver non-judgemental, confidential support is essential to this role.
Additionally, you will be committed to maintaining a strong understanding of problem gambling and will have a genuine interest in the areas of gambling addiction, treatment, early intervention, and prevention.

React works to give children comfort, dignity and where possible, greater independence.

The Role
We are seeking a passionate, creative and innovative fundraising professional with a history of successful income generation and fundraising development.

· We support ill or injured men and women to have a safe place to call home, a home that meets their specific needs.

We are seeking an individual to raise awareness of the Fund’s welfare offer amongst social welfare agencies across the North East of Scotland but also, crucially, to help address the issue of social isolation and feelings of loneliness experienced by some members of the RAF Family.
The post holder will be working with socially isolated individuals to identify meaningfully enriching opportunities to reduce feelings of loneliness, some of whom may have complex and challenging welfare needs, to develop actions plans and coordinate support to overcome any barriers preventing successful connection into these enriching opportunities, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals, have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of the issues affecting the Armed Forces community. Individuals with a social prescribing or working aged veteran support background are encouraged to apply.
This is a community-based position working from home but covering the Inverness, Moray and Aberdeenshire regions primarily, delivering both remote and face to face support. The candidate must have their own vehicle to use to travel around these regions. Occasional travel to Edinburgh and London will be required. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Enhanced DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

Recovery and Connect Worker
Location: Chester, Cheshire
Salary: £25,175 inclusive per annum
Hours: Fixed term position, 1 x 37.5 hours per week, 1 x 15 hours per week
Many people are experiencing mental health issues and urgently need support. That’s where our new service and you come in. Join Waythrough as a Recovery and Connect Worker and you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals access the support services and opportunities they need to improve their quality of life and ensure that their mental health is improving.
Chester and Wirral pathway is a community-based project that will assist people in hospital ready for discharge home from mental health inpatient settings.
Your role will be in supporting patients in various hospital settings to overcome the barriers to them leaving hospital. This will include being part of MDT meetings, housing and benefits support, utility reconnection, identifying housing and a package of 12-week support upon discharge from hospital. Ideally candidates will have good housing experience. This is an agile role that will require travel between hospitals and the community.
Your challenge will be to support individuals with complex mental health needs to feel in control of their care, access mental health support and other local opportunities and build their emotional resilience. You’ll manage a caseload of individuals with mental health concerns, formulating support plans and establishing positive relationships with a range of multidisciplinary organisations.
You’ll need a significant understanding of mental health issues and substantial experience of working within a mental health setting where you dealt with ‘high risk’ clients and managing resources effectively. A good understanding of recovery and coproduction is important too, as is a proven ability to lead, supervise and motivate staff and delegate work appropriately. Adept at managing conflicting demands and priorities on time, you have a flexible attitude to working hours and, above all, keen to be part of something new and worthwhile that will change lives.
This is a fixed term role that ends on 31 May 2026.
There is a full time and part time role requiring the post holder to work 37.5 hours per week and part time 15 hours per week.

Core responsibilities within your role will be to:
- Work with the Head of Policy and Public Affairs to set up a new press office function for AdviceUK.

Job Purpose
Carers Manchester Contact Point (CMCP) is the first point of contact for unpaid carers seeking information, advice and support to help them with their caring role.
The service delivers a free confidential helpline for carers weekdays (Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm). These times are subject to change, based on the needs and requirements of carers using the service.
The aim of this role is to be part of a team providing a comprehensive information, advice and support to carers in Manchester. The post holder will work alongside colleagues from Gaddum and potentially other organisations to be the first contact in a busy service providing advice via a telephone advice line and managing referrals made through digital sources. They will provide information and advice and refer more complex issues to the appropriate agencies delivering the Manchester Carers Pathway.
Key responsibilities
Advice giving
- Answering telephone calls into a central helpline offering support and guidance to unpaid carers in Manchester.
- Provide relevant and meaningful support and information to unpaid carers utilising internal and external resources.
- Inform carers about carers assessments and refer where necessary.
- Inform carers about emergency grants available and refer where necessary.
- Ensure all advice and support given is delivered in a timely manner to suit the needs of carers calling the helpline whilst balancing waiting callers.
Follow-up support
- Refer unpaid carers to local services to access local and culturally appropriate support in their area.
- Refer carers to Adult Social Care for Carers Assessments to discuss and improve their caring situation.
- Signpost carers to relevant services in Manchester suited to their individual need.
- Complete relevant grant applications for carers using the service where needed.
- Use Carers Manchester Contact Point and other reliable and accurate resources to find, interpret and communicate relevant information to carers
- Research and explore options and implications so that carers can make informed decisions.
- Write and maintain detailed case records for all casework completed.
- Collect required data for statistical monitoring and report preparation.
- Complete the required training to comply with quality assurance processes.
The post-holder will be required to undertake other tasks as reasonably directed by the CMCP Coordinator, which will usually be commensurate with the skills and experience of the post-holder.
