We are looking for a part time Membership Officer to work 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday), alongside our existing part time Membership Officer. The position is hybrid, with at least one day a week (Tuesday) in the office in Archway. Together, they will lead on administrative support of our membership functions. Reporting to our Office and Events Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the administrative functions that support the smooth running and ongoing success of the organisation around membership.
This is an interesting and varied role that acts as a first 'point of contact’ for the people we work with (such as Member Institutions, Registrants and queries from members of the public), as well as managing the administrative aspect of memberships, such as setting up new Registrants on our CRM system. The role also involves longer term project work such as overseeing the CPD audit and improving and growing membership processes.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with previous administrative experience who are keen to join our small and friendly staff team.

JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a creative, ambitious, and data-driven individual to join us as Senior Officer Digital Optimisation, specialising in UX/UI to lead on the development and delivery of UK for UNHCR’s testing and optimisation strategy to improve conversion rates and user experience online, including our donation pages, virtual gift shop, website and various subdomains. The role reports to the Head of Digital Fundraising and manages all donation pages, digital testing and tracking, as well as a range of Google and optimisation products.
The primary purpose is to optimise digital performance through A/B testing across our websites and supporting teams to adopt and implement a test-and-learn framework in their digital channels to raise more funds for refugees.
An existing A/B testing roadmap has been developed and is ready for your input and ideas. However, testing and optimisation is not limited to fundraising and will aim to improve digital conversion and performance across teams, channels and platforms – playing a key part in UNHCR’s annual fundraising programme to enable UNHCR to deliver its vision of a world where every person forced to flee can build a better life.
You will work very closely with the digital fundraising team and wider Individual Giving team, as well as Communications and Philanthropy/ Corporate Partnership colleagues, our digital agency and international fundraising teams.

Role Responsibilities
- Develop and lead strategy for conversion rate optimisation, including the management of a testing roadmap to regularly execute A/B and multivariate tests and the use of new and existing technology, e.g. heatmapping to reduce friction rates and continuously improve and optimise conversions.
- Lead UX/UI across organisation, overseeing and implementing tests and analysis across teams to improve web experience and achieve required KPIs and objectives.
- Manage Google suite of tools and relevant relationships, ensuring everything is up to date and operating as necessary.
- Manage all donation pages and fundraising landing pages, building new pages, maintaining existing pages and closing pages; identify areas for improvement and work with relevant stakeholders to test and optimise.
- Utilise and manage suite of third-party platforms, e.g. Optimizely, Mouseflow, iRaiser, Sleeknote, Typeform to improve user experience and increase donations and conversions.
- Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying fundraising opportunities and develop relevant comms and journeys as needed, collaborating with colleagues from across the organisation.
- Use data and insights to produce regular reports on performance against KPIs; use analytics to identify trends and optimise activities based on user behaviour.
- Manage and maintain vanity and tracking links across the organisation, utilising Google Tag Manager and UTMs to monitor performance and results.
- Stay up to date with digital best practices and technology, including sector trends, follow industry policies, including GDPR, PECR regulations, attending training and optimising plans accordingly.
- Stay up to date with issues affecting displaced communities, campaigns from international, content and reports from the field.
- Share creative and insights with UK colleagues, global teams, and HQ.
- Participate in training seminars, workshops, and skill shares where applicable.

Personal Attributes and Experience
Essential Experience
- Experience of implementing and optimising digital marketing campaigns across channels, including paid and organic social, search and display; preferably within the charity sector.
- Experience of developing and delivering strategies for conversion rate optimisation and user experience/user interface.
- Experience of using digital channels for lead acquisition and conversion to grow income.
- Experience of measuring, evaluating and reporting on digital activity and performance across multiple channels and digital campaigns, paid and organic.
- Experience of working with external agencies and suppliers.
Essential Skills/Knowledge
- Experience of using Google Analytics or other web behavioural analytics tools.
- Experience with experimentation tools like Optimisely or similar.

Battersea is entering an exciting phase of innovation and transformation as we embark on the first year of our new five-year strategy. Purpose of the job
This role creates a positive impact for young people by providing practical and operational support for the delivery of Year 3 of the Summer Jobs programme. The post holder will contribute to effective coordination, administration and delivery by managing key processes, systems and communications, supporting partners and internal teams, and helping to ensure delivery is well organised, safe and compliant throughout the summer period.
Working closely with the Summer Jobs Programme Manager and colleagues across Network Delivery, you will support delivery through coordination of partners, contracts, due diligence and training activity. You will manage programme communications and inboxes, support relationship building with referral partners, and contribute to marketing, resources and learning materials. You will support issue management during delivery, gather insights from delivery activity, and contribute to continuous improvement of the programme offer for young people.
The Summer Jobs Programme (funded by the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) (YEF) and Youth Futures Foundation (YFF)) offers young people, aged 16-20 who are at risk of violence, a six-week paid work placement. The programme aims to improve the young person’s wellbeing and mental health while supporting them with employability skills and self-confidence. The young person is supported by a dedicated youth worker as part of their placement.
Planning is now underway for the 2026 programme, which aims to support a further 860 young people through placements across England and Wales. The initiative draws inspiration from successful programmes in the US and builds on the achievements of the first two years years. The Summer Jobs Programme has engaged over 800 young participants since its inception in 2024
Key responsibilities
Programme delivery

Support the delivery, governance and evaluation of Year 3 of the Summer Jobs Programme through effective coordination, administration and process management

Act as the central point of contact for the Summer Jobs Programme inbox, developing and maintaining systems to manage queries efficiently, forward requests appropriately and onboard team members to agreed processes

Support the Delivery Team with partner and contract management throughout the programme, including coordinating onboarding and Expressions of Interest, drafting and reviewing SLAs, completing due diligence checks, processing supplier forms, coordinating visits and ensuring all documentation and records are kept accurate and up to date
Training, meetings and coordination

Support the planning and delivery of Summer Jobs training activity, including resource development, event logistics, attendance tracking and maintenance of attendance logs

Coordinate Summer Jobs meetings, including working group and steering group meetings, supporting agenda preparation, minute taking, action logs and internal follow up
Relationships, communications and resources

Build and maintain effective working relationships with referral partners, including local authorities and national organisations, to support programme delivery and referral processes

Support marketing and communications activity by drafting copy for newsletters, emails and programme materials, including pulling together Delivery Partner newsletter content

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced programme manager who will oversee The Advice Workforce Development Fund (AWDF). AWDF is a collaborative programme dedicated to strengthening and sustaining the social welfare advice sector in London. The role will coordinate and run steering and advisory groups, and ‘task and finish’ groups, working with cross-sector stakeholders to enable the implementation of recent recommendations generated by research commissioned by the programme, and help with monitoring and evaluating the project and funded projects under this programme. The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, a commitment to social justice, and a track record of delivering impactful support to external partners.
The workforce development programme was created after working closely with a group of funders and advice sector representatives who are now steering group members. The programme has reached an exciting stage, as it transitions from a foundation-laying and research phase into more of a focus on influencing and implementation of the learning generated to date, while also maintaining and strengthening new and existing relationships. This role, with support from the Head of Sector Support and Grants and the CEO, will oversee the continued development and delivery of this exciting partnership into the longer-term. Your purpose
To support school recruitment by analysing school and trust data, identifying areas of opportunity, and holding early conversations to understand context and check alignment with our membership criteria. You will qualify leads, progress straightforward opportunities, and help ensure schools receive clear information and timely follow-up. Your insight will support targeted campaigns, pipeline planning, and a smooth route into membership.
Your responsibilities

Work with school and trust data (GIAS, DfE, IMD/FSM, MAT lists, regional reports) to spot patterns, understand need, and help us focus on the right areas.

Create named lists of schools and trusts connected through MATs, clusters, networks, or regional activity, so outreach is targeted rather than broad.

Hold early conversations with schools, listen to their situation, check fit against our criteria, and progress straightforward opportunities through to joining.

Manage the early stages of the sales/BD pipeline, keeping information up to date, noting next steps, and moving schools through the lifecycle.

Nurture early interest, sharing helpful information, answering simple questions and booking follow-ups at the right time.

Share insight with colleagues, including patterns, questions and common needs heard from schools.

Support events and outreach activity, helping identify who to invite and following up afterwards.
