The Lucy Faithfull Foundation (LFF) is a UK-wide charity that exists to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation. About the role and you

We are recruiting for a skilled and experienced manager to join the Helpline team. You will support the Head of Stop It Now, working alongside our Helpline Managers and Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Manager in the day to day running of the helpline and provide support and advice to Helpline Advisors. You will have direct client contact via telephone, a secure message service and online chat. You will also support with the training of staff and promotion of the work of the helpline.

You will have experience in working directly with one or more of our key target groups: - for example adults and/or children and young people who have sexually harmful behaviours, or child victims of sexual abuse, or family members of these individuals.  Our ideal candidate will be an energetic professional, who is proactive and outcome focused with exceptional communication and relationship skills. You will be able to evidence a successful track record of working with individuals and families impacted by child sexual abuse. You will be able to demonstrate confidence in translating the charity’s mission into direct child protection practice and equipping other professionals in tackling child sexual abuse.

The Advice and Wellbeing team at KCLSU are looking for a Student Advisor to deliver high quality and empowering one-to-one advice and support to our student members. 

Key responsibilities include:

About the role

The Senior Adviser post is a new role to increase capacity within our small and friendly Advice and Information Team. The Senior Adviser will be responsible for delivering high quality, evidence-based, advice and information by email and phone to Coram BAAF members. Our enquirers are primarily social workers at all levels including senior managers, along with associated professionals in health, legal and other areas of children’s social care.

The role will also support our Outbound Permanence Service which provides specialist advice and resources for local authorities across the UK seeking to place a looked after child with relatives overseas, and also offers training and consultancy. The post holder will, once familiar, have the opportunity to participate in Outbound training delivery.

We envisage this as a 4 day per week role, but are open to considering additional flexibility within the constraints of our core service hours (see full job description).

This role may suit you if you have considerable experience in childcare social work, in one or more of adoption, kinship, or foster care, together with experience in advising fellow professionals. You will have a clear understanding of the key principles involved in providing accurate, evidence-based advice and information.

You may have experience of working for a similar national helpline or advice, though this is not essential. You should have good knowledge of relevant regulations, guidance, minimum standards, and published good practice, along with the ability to research and translate complex information into accurate, clear, evidence-based, and practical advice.

We’re looking for an exceptional leader to join Community Action Redbridge as our new Operations Director – a pivotal role at the heart of our organisation. 

With an income of just under £1 million and a diverse portfolio of new and established grant-funded programmes, we’re entering a period oftransformation, with ambitious plans to grow our impact and strengthen our organisational resilience. 

We’re now seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Operations Director to help drive this momentum – leading the way in reimagining how we work to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, and embedding a culture of shared  leadership, continuous learning, and improvement. 

You will be a natural collaborator and a strong communicator, able to build trusted relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders alike. In this role, you’ll ensure that our operations run smoothly and effectively – aligningsystems and processes with our strategic goals while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. 

You’ll provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across our core functions, including: 

• Finance 

• Human resources 

• Digital and communications 

• Risk and compliance 

As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you’ll work closely with the CEO, Board of Trustees, partners, and colleagues to bring our vision to life, drive forward our strategic priorities, and foster a working culture where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to do their best work. 

Please note that this role can be offered on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of three days per week in the office. As an organisation rooted in community, we believe that regular in-office presence is important to foster collaboration, connection and team cohesion. The role is part-time (28 hours per week), and these hours can be worked over four or five days, depending on your preference

Community Action Redbridge is looking for a Project Manager to lead our Connected Communities Project, a successful social prescribing initiative that helps people build resilience, reduce loneliness, and connect with the support they need to improve their wellbeing. 

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the day-to-day delivery and ongoing development of the project, guiding and supporting a small, dedicated team. Working in close partnership with voluntary and community organisations, the NHS, and other local agencies, you’ll help strengthen Redbridge’s community support infrastructure. You’ll champion person-led, strengths-based approaches, ensuring our work remains inclusive, responsive, and firmly grounded in what truly matters to the people we support. 

We’re looking for someone who is organised, compassionate, and skilled in partnership working; confident in leading teams and managing projects; adept at maintaining and developing project systems and processes and committed to tackling inequalities and promoting wellbeing across diverse communities. 

Prior experience in social prescribing, project coordination, or health and wellbeing initiatives will be especially valued. 

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a requirement to work three days per week in our Gants Hill office.

The Opportunity

Good Faith is seeking our first People & Culture Manager – a hands-on, strategic HR generalist who is excited to shape and scale a people-first culture in a growing, purpose-driven organisation.

You’ll play a pivotal role in building and embedding people practices that reflect our mission and values, ensuring Good Faith remains an exceptional place to work. As an advisor to the senior leadership team (SLT) and a key support to colleagues across the organisation, you'll be responsible for day-to-day HR operations as well as helping to shape longer-term people strategy.

This role combines compliance and compassion, policy and people, and structure and soul. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in an agile environment, brings a proactive and people-centred mindset, and wants to make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Compliance

• Act as first point of contact for HR matters, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and best practice.

• Maintain and embed up-to-date HR policies and processes, delivering staff training where needed.

• Manage sensitive employee relations issues (e.g. grievances, disciplinary, absence management) with fairness and integrity.

• Serve as designated Safeguarding Lead

Recruitment & Onboarding 

• Lead inclusive and transparent recruitment processes, ensuring a great candidate experience

• Oversee onboarding to ensure new team members feel welcomed, equipped and engaged from day one.

Person Specification

We value lived experience, transferable skills, and potential – so if you don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply if this role excites you. However, the following will be an asset for this role:

HR Operations & Compliance

• 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, ideally within a small or purpose-led organisation.

• Demonstrated experience managing sensitive employee relations issues.

• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, HR policy development, and HR best practice.

• Demonstrable awareness of emerging trends in People and HR, including the opportunities and ethical considerations presented by AI and automation

• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above), or equivalent experience.

• Experience acting as a Safeguarding Lead, or working closely with a Designated Safeguarding Lead.

• Proven ability to design and deliver HR policy and compliance training.
   

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Experience leading recruitment, including drafting role descriptions, selection criteria, managing shortlisting and interviews

• Ability to create positive onboarding experience
   

Performance & Development

• Experience developing and embedding performance management frameworks, including appraisals and personal development planning.

• Ability in supporting and equipping managers in their line management responsibilities

• Experience identifying learning and development opportunities that align with organisational and individual growth needs.

Wellbeing, Engagement & Inclusion

Working Arrangements
