Since 1997, NFS Mediation has been providing independent, and confidential mediation and conflict resolution services. Their work spans community mediation, restorative justice, hoarding interventions using cognitive behavioural approaches, and anti-social behaviour (ASB) assessments.
They now run one of the largest county-wide mediation services in England, operating as a values-driven organisation committed to building stronger, safer, more cohesive communities.
About the role
As Chief Executive Officer, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of the organisation, holding the strategic vision, leading a dedicated and highly experienced staff and volunteer team, and maintaining strong relationships with external partners and commissioners.
You'll:
- Develop and implement strategic plans and budgets, reporting to the Board
- Secure and retain funding through contracts and partnerships
- Lead, inspire and support the senior management and staff team
- Ensure the delivery and continuous improvement of high-quality mediation services
About you
You'll be a compassionate, values-led leader who understands how to bring people with you. You'll also be comfortable navigating both strategic oversight and operational leadership.
We're particularly keen to hear from candidates with:
- Proven senior leadership experience, ideally within the charity or voluntary sector
- A strong track record in service delivery and team development
- Financial management experience, including budgeting and reporting
- Emotional intelligence, resilience, and a collaborative leadership style

About the role:
We are looking for nurses with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to join our team. You will work closely with the Clinical Leads to ensure more people achieve a peaceful and comfortable death in their preferred place of care.
We offer a flexible approach to rostering and we will consider part-time applications; early, late, twilight shifts are available, however please note that night shifts are currently a mandatory requirement of the position (usually 2-3 per month pro rata). This role will cover Monday - Sunday working.

The IGVA will provide high quality, trauma informed independent advocacy and support to survivors of gender-based abuse and their children in Wandsworth. Partly funded by MOPAC (Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime), the post focuses on improving access to justice, safety and holistic support for individuals affected by sexual violence, including those navigating the criminal justice system. support for survivors of sexual abuse.

About you
· Solicitor, barrister or equivalent qualified lawyer with substantial post-qualification experience
· Extensive experience as a senior in-house lawyer within a regulated sector with specialist knowledge in commercial and/or sector-specific law, and the right to practice law in this jurisdiction.
· In-depth legal expertise with an understanding of legal principles and practices, with evidence of continued professional development (CPD) commensurate with the requirements of the role.
· A strategic mindset with experience in business planning, performance management and value.

Additional Responsibilities

The Policy and Impact Team sits at the heart of Volunteering Matters. · Collaborate with the National Volunteer Engagement Manager to support the inclusion of volunteer and community voices in our policy and public affairs work.
· Assist with collecting impact and activity data from across the charity and work with the Data Analyst to undertake analysis.
· Support with routine collection of quarterly data from projects - ensuring responses are timely and accurate, providing guidance to project managers as needed.

Aurora New Dawn is a registered charity providing support and advocacy to survivors of domestic abuse, stalking and sexual violence.
The Children & Young Person’s Advocate will support children at risk of domestic abuse, including sexual violence and stalking within a domestic abuse context within the Thames Valley area. Children will be identified via their non-abusing parent who is already accessing support as a victim of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking from Aurora New Dawn. As a Housing Domestic Abuse Advocate, you will provide intervention, advocacy, and support to survivors of domestic abuse. Working within a fast-paced team, you will help empower women and ensure that the voice of survivors informs every stage of their journey towards improved safety. You will have your own caseload of survivors who hold social tenancies with local authorities or housing associations, and you will encourage them to engage with our service and ensure they have access to support. You will also co-ordinate the provision of multi-agency support which focuses on working with domestic abuse survivors to maintain their tenancies and prevent homelessness.
About You:
To be successful as the Domestic Abuse Housing Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:
You will bring solid experience of supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse in all its forms; coming from a sector with transferrable skills or possess a feminist/VAWG degree and be keen to learn and to train on the job. You will have a good understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic abuse (physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families, and communities. You will have proven skills and experience in conducting comprehensive assessments of needs and risk for survivors experiencing domestic abuse, including carrying out short risk management and safety planning. We will expect that you have experience in assessing the needs and safety of any children that women using the service may have and an understanding of the criminal justice system and relevant legislation with regard to legal and civil options, housing, benefits, matrimonial and children. Lastly you will bring your knowledge of safeguarding practice, procedures, and legislation.
With many skills and qualities to add to this role, if you have good IT literacy, data collection and monitoring these skills are maximised in your role. If you have experience or have been trained or are qualified in the fields related to substance misuse, criminal justice, law, social work or domestic abuse we would love to hear from you.
