Individual Giving Manager

The Individual Giving Manager will drive and deliver the Charity's ambitious fundraising strategy across all individual giving streams. You'll create, test, monitor and evaluate multi-channel appeals and campaigns; lead on Legacy and In-Memory programmes; and manage lottery, raffle, and associated products; building strong pipelines, journeys and propositions that inspire support for their mission.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and working closely with Income Generation and Marketing colleagues, you will champion an excellent donor experience; maximising retention and lifetime value while acquiring new supporters at sustainable ROI. You'll use data-led insights, segmentation and test-and-learn methods to optimise performance, ensure compliance and best practice, and embed robust reporting across the portfolio.

The successful candidate will bring demonstrable experience of delivering and growing individual giving, with a track record in audience segmentation, copy and creative development, journey mapping, and campaign evaluation. You'll be collaborative, values-driven, and comfortable working cross-functionally to deliver against income targets while safeguarding supporter care and brand integrity.

About you

• Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) or equivalent, with demonstrable competence as a Health & Safety leader.
• Significant experience in a senior H&S role, ideally in a complex multi-site organisation (e.g., retail, charity, facilities, or commercial).
• Proven track record of developing and embedding H&S management systems and delivering cultural change.
• Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation, risk management frameworks, and compliance obligations.
• Experience managing serious incidents, investigations, and regulatory engagement.

A well-established national charity is seeking a Digital Fundraising Manager to lead its digital events and virtual fundraising programme during a 13-month maternity cover period. About the role
Reporting to the Head of Mass Participation and Community Engagement, you will manage a team of three and oversee a calendar of digital fundraising events that collectively generate around £2 million annually. The role

What the job involves

Our Events and Community Fundraising team raises vital funds for Prostate Cancer UK through a wide range of activities, events and challenges. Alongside our own flagship events, we recruit teams for some of the UK’s best-loved sporting events, including the TCS London Marathon, Great North Run and the London Landmarks Half Marathon. The team also organise our flagship walking event, March for Men, and our Tour de France themed cycling event, the Grand Depart Classic.

As Senior Sporting Events Executive, you’ll take the operational lead in delivering income across our third-party events programme, alongside project managing our team of London Marathon runners. You’ll manage at least one Events and Community Coordinator, supporting their development and ensuring the team delivers outstanding supporter care at every stage. You’ll also play a key role in spotting and developing new opportunities within the charity events market.

This is a hands-on role covering every aspect of event delivery; from leading project meetings, setting budgets and developing marketing plans, to crafting supporter communications, managing logistics and providing on-the-day event support. You’ll also oversee post-event processes such as remittance and thanking supporters, ensuring we maximise income and provide a first-class experience for every participant. • Coordinate information and produce reports / minutes in support of programme management, the ISEAL Membership Committee and strategic development of the compliance programme
• Contribute to systematic measurement and improvement of the compliance programme

 Services and member prospecting

• Act as the first point of contact and respond to enquiries about ISEAL, services and membership
• Schedule and co-lead prospect calls, taking notes and supporting follow up actions
• Support to develop and maintain effective relationships with members and prospect members, as well as key stakeholders related to the compliance programme
• Use and continually improve record-keeping systems, tracking customer relationships on Salesforce and support member/customer prospecting processes
• Coordinate customer relationships related to the ISEAL Insight subscription package, including recruiting new customers and supporting existing relationships, tracking payments, and coordinating delivery of content
• Support delivery of ISEAL’s training courses, including coordinating promotions, registrations and event logistics
• Deliver administrative tasks to support ISEAL’s tailored services processes, including preparing service agreements on contract management system and managing payments

General

• Assist in promoting best practice in use of IT, communications and knowledge management systems within projects, and support efforts to help bring about improvements
• Provide ad hoc support to organisation-wide initiatives, if needs arise

Experience, Knowledge and Attribute

• Experience working or interning in a support/administrative role, ideally in an international NGO, professional or membership organisation
• Some experience in a role encompassing customer service, communications or sales, with a focus on high quality services
• Strong organisational skills, with some experience with supporting administration, meeting coordination, logistics, contracts etc.
• Strong attention to detail, with demonstrated experience with proof-reading and record management or similar
• Confidence in using digital tools and systems, with a proactive attitude to improvements
• Good time management and ability to organise multiple simultaneous tasks efficiently
• Excellent written & spoken English, with proven ability to write clearly and concisely

What you'll do:

The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for building strong working relationships across the business and advising, coaching and training stakeholders and the People team on best practice on all aspects of HR case work. This includes (but not limited to) disciplinary, grievances, absence management, probations, restructures and TUPE as well as training and coaching managers to enable them to successfully manage their teams whilst effectively managing risks.

About you:

Offering best practice and pragmatic advice on all areas relating to HR Case work with the outcome of aiming to manage risks and reach successful resolution
Working with managers and staff to resolve conflict and grievances at the lowest level of formality possible
Addressing employee raised issues/concerns
Coaching and advising managers on policies/procedures, best practice and identifying risks/costs
Ensuring compliance with employment law and policy and processes
Ensuring all casework is dealt with in a timely and pragmatic way
Facililate change - supporting and advising on restructures, TUPE etc
Being a 'trusted advisor' to the business on all aspects of employee relations
Support on succession mapping: Provide support in identifying current and future skills requirements, succession gaps.
Support on HR induction and other HR related training
Building a good working relationship with the wider People team to ensure the effective working of the whole team
Ensure people management practices reflect employee brand, values and expected behaviours
Health & Wellbeing: Provide guidance to business on best practice approach to dealing with and supporting life events and issues relating to health and wellbeing, including reasonable adjustments and referral to Occupational Health.

Essential:

Excellent HR experience with a strong emphasis on Employee Relations
Ability to effectively influence, challenge and negotiate within their business area on a range of people/HR issues
Ability to build effective relationships with people at all levels in the organisation, to understand business needs and consider and be aware of wider organisational and external impact
Ability to give sound HR advice to managers on all aspects of HR issues
Excellent understanding of employment law, regulations and good practice
Ability to think outside of process where necessary and take full accountability
Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer service with all managers and staff across the Organisation

About the role

As a Shop Supervisor, you will support the Shop Manager and Assistant Shop Manager to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will play a key role in delivering customer service and supporting volunteers, as well maintaining the look and feel of the shop and processing stock. This is a unique retail opportunity where you will also be involved in delivering on the job training for Crisis members, supporting them to gain the skills and confidence needed in the workplace. You will work collaboratively with your team and will have opportunities to build your own skills and career progression.
