Tabard Court is a mental health supported accommodation for individual with significant offending histories. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to customers with a range of mental health needs - emotional, social, physical or domestic -, who have had contact with the Criminal Justice System. You will be skilled in engaging both customers and stakeholders and have a good understanding of the needs and diversity of this client group. About Bright Futures UK
Bright Futures UK supports children and young people aged 5 to 24 whose education has been disrupted due to serious long-term physical or mental health conditions. We offer online one-to-one tutoring, befriending, and mentoring programmes, as well as group programmes including hospital workshops, industry events, and advocacy actions initiatives. Role Overview
This is a key role in the delivery of our online personalised programme. The Coordinator will oversee the children and young people referral pathway, acting as the first point of contact for new referrals and guiding children, young people, and their families, educators, or hospital contacts through every stage of the onboarding process.
You will be responsible for gathering detailed and sensitive information about each young person’s health, education, and wellbeing, to ensure the support they receive is tailored, appropriate, and trauma-informed. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records is a central part of this role. You will also line manage the Personalised Programme Coordinators, work closely with the wider Programme and Volunteer Teams, and play a key role in external outreach and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Referral and Programme Oversight
- Act as the lead contact for all incoming referrals, including those from hospitals, statutory services, community organisations, and families
- Hold safe, compassionate, and confidential conversations with CYPs to understand their needs and gather relevant information around education, physical health, and mental wellbeing
- Ensure all referral documentation, risk assessments, consent forms, and safeguarding procedures are completed to a high standard and in line with organisational policy

Bank Support Workers have the ability to accept any shifts available on an ad-hoc basis across from all of Look Ahead's specialisms including Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Homelessness and Young People. The Barnsley Street Project is a pilot service funded by NHS money following a bid by East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT). The service comprises of Look Ahead staff, ELFT staff, and Tower Hamlets Mental Health VCSE Alliance, formed of 17 local VCSE organisations. The Barnsley Street Project operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support for people in the catchment area of one primary care network in Bethnal Green, Tower Hamlets. It provides a variety of psychosocial and clinical interventions, including the provision of 6 Hospitality Beds for short term support and intervention.
Support Workers within the Barnsley Street Project will be expected to support individuals requiring support from the local community that walk in to the service and those staying in our hospitality beds. This support may include providing tailored and co-produced practical, emotional, trauma-informed support to individuals with a variety of challenges relating to their mental health. This may include the management of symptoms, social support, navigating benefits and welfare systems, practical skills and signposting to specialist services in the local authority for intensive or specific support as required.
The shift pattern for this role involves two 13-hour shifts per week (07:30-20:30), including Wednesdays.

About the Role
Inclusion Coordinator will design and deliver creative arts activities for young people, overseeing the programmes for the Sensory Room and Duty Management of the Sunday Beyond Session. - Introduced the OnSide Evaluation Framework alongside young people's feedback to enhance the quality of the support given to help young people's progression.
- Created progression pathways for young people to build on our 'practice, perfect and perform' model.
- Ensured volunteers & young leaders are well managed and supported.
- Helped to deliver an engaging Beyond session with up to 60 young people attending per session; ensuring that our members with additional needs are supported with our "All About Me" forms.

About You
With a relevant qualification in SEND or Youth Work Essential Evidence of ongoing professional development (for example Safeguarding, health & Safety, Management), you will have experience of delivering SEND activities to young people in-line with relevant guidance and good practice.
You will have essential, proven experience of working with young people aged 8 to 19 (up to 25 for those with additional needs) in a range of settings and experience of engaging vulnerable, disengaged or hard to reach young people in activities. We are also looking for someone with experience of managing a staff team, ideally including volunteers and with a strong commitment to safeguarding children.
