The Ogden Trust is a family charitable trust which supports the teaching and learning of physics. The Trust delivers professional development programmes for teachers of physics across England, supports schools and multi-academy trusts to improve their physics provision and works with universities to support highquality physics enrichment.
The role is responsible for managing programme applications and participation, as well as organising logistics of events and supporting the administrative processes of the programme. Responsible for the safe delivery and environment of the Osborne Centre (both Partners and staff) delivering a range of quality services for our Partners (service users) and ensuring that the management systems are in place and operational.
Qualification(s) Level: Applicants with Level(s) 5 Leadership & Management Social Care/ Education/ Health (particularly with adults with learning disabilities) or similar qualifications (including degree equivalents or better), are especially welcome however we will consider applicants with alternative qualifications and experience subject to expressly agreeing to upskill on the job and provided there is an evidentiary trail that can show evidence of a caring mentality and empathy with our service user group and or in a home care environment or other learning type institution.
Overall purpose:
To manage all aspects of the ‘Operations’ of Osborne Partnership and supporting the strategic development of the organisation alongside the Chief Executive to ensure a fully functional and operational service for the overall benefit of our Partners (service users) day learning and support development as per the Charities aims and objectives of Education, Skills Attainment, and Employability Skills for adults with learning disabilities.
To actively train and support Partners to gain independence skills, life skills, and other skills through a ‘mixed ability’ support service that includes supporting the training of Partners through formal qualifications (Entry level NVQ teaching & support), on the job training, and internal qualifications and benchmarks.
To ensure that the service is:
- Properly monitored and utilising an internal database for the recording of information (Storii);
- Delivered on the basis of an agreed organisational and service Scheme of Works/ Service Plan as well as Partner Individual Learning Plans (ILPs);
- Reviewing Partner progress on a quarterly basis showing ‘distance travelled’ by individual Partners;
- Serviced by managed, trained and motivated staff;
- Delivered under the highest standards of health & safety and safeguarding welfare for our Partners.
Role:
To develop, support and deliver the day to day operations of the Osborne Partnership, in partnership with other senior Managers, and Service Managers, with a particular focus on the quality agenda as it relates to Partner services, service development, benchmarking, and external accreditations. The role will ensure that Partner services are engaged in a cycle of continuous review and improvements and providing Service Managers with the tools and support to deliver the highest standards of service through building confidence and expertise, and identifying service and personal development training where appropriate.
Main Duties:
1. To support the development and best practice of all Osborne Partnership service areas to ensure relevant, meaningful, and objective focused delivery for Partners.
2. To work with the relevant Service Managers and Project Supoort Officers (PSOs) to review current service delivery and to provide an objective, supportive, but challenging voice in the development of services.
3. To benchmark Osborne Partnership services and delivery against similar services in the borough and wider afield.
4. Working with other senior managers, identify and action new service areas of delivery commensurate with the Osborne Partnership Memorandum and Articles of Association and subject to Partners consultation and approval.
5. To identify, research, and action plan frontline external accreditations that will provide a objectifiable list of outcomes that will support and benefit Partners; staff development; and the professional standing of the Osborne Partnership.
6. To support senior managers in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures as they may relate to updated legislation; new service provision; Partners welfare, safety and development; staff development and benefits; or any other relevant area of service.
7. To line manage (including appraisals) relevant Service Managers as leaders of services ensuring that they understand the concept of continuous improvement and are supporting Project Support Officers (PSOs) to do likewise.
8. To ensure that Service Managers have identified and developed service schemes of work, annual development training plans for Service Managers and their PSOs in line with continuous improvement principles and to ensure best practice activities for Partners.
9. To work with senior managers to identify and action activities/ services/ initiatives/ documents/ plans that will support the on-going professionalisation and modernisation agenda of the Osborne Partnership
10. To actively support other senior managers in the day to day delivery of the Osborne Centre service provision ensuring health and safety at work principles are adhered to; safeguarding of Partners is paramount; that staff are adequately prepped and prepared for delivery of their services; and that a professional service approach is adhered to at all times.
11. To be the primary development Officer of the Storri database as it relates to Osborne Partnership, information gathering (and mindful of GDPR), and Partmner journeys travelled in the service.
12. To identify personal development opportunities and requirements as dictated by the role.
13. Any other reasonable task as defined as a management role and directed from time to time by the Chief Executive.

JOB PURPOSE
The Business Development Manager – Scotland will drive income growth and strategic partnerships in Scotland. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, this role will take a lead in developing both public funded income and philanthropic support (trusts, high-net-worth individuals and corporate partnerships).
The postholder will work closely with the Head of Major Giving (Trusts & Philanthropy) and Head of Partnerships in England to ensure joined-up approaches, while developing extensive networks and relationships across Scotland’s funding and commissioning landscape.
This role is both externally focused — cultivating relationships with commissioners, funders, and partners — and internally collaborative, aligning with colleagues across Magic Breakfast to maximise opportunities and deliver against the organisation’s strategic plan.
Key responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy

With support from the Head of Business Development, lead the development and delivery of the Scotland Business Development and Fundraising Strategy, ensuring alignment with Magic Breakfast’s UK-wide income priorities, wider organisational strategy, and any Scotland-specific plans across Service Delivery and Policy & Engagement.

About this role
The Programmes Quality and Delivery department is a key unit within SPANA’s Global Programmes Directorate (GPD). Reporting to a Senior Programmes Manager, the Programmes Officer provides essential grant administration and project management support to a portfolio of partners, ensuring effective oversight across the lifecycle of grants. Purpose of the Role:
To work across Slough to develop and embed processes that enable the participation of children and young people (CYP) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in decision-making and service planning, delivery, and evaluation.
This role involves empowering CYP with SEND to make a difference, helping them develop their skills, abilities, and confidence to contribute positively to outcomes for other children and young people. The postholder will work collaboratively with partners across education, health, social care, and the voluntary sector to ensure best practice in participation, and that SEND CYP have a strong voice in shaping local services.
This is a specialist role requiring a senior participation officer with knowledge of reasonable adjustments, safeguarding, service design, and co-production, as well as experience of working with CYP with SEND. Creative, enthusiastic candidates with a desire to learn are encouraged to apply.

We are looking to recruit a Funding Officer to join the London, Southeast and East Team (LSE&E), within the Strategy, Learning Partnerships team (SLP). You will be part of a team, led by a Funding Manager and comprised of several other Funding Officers.
The LSE&E team is headed up by a Senior Head of Regional Funding, together with two Senior Grant Making Managers (SGMM) for London & South East. There are 5 local patches for the South East and East and 3 local patches for London.
SLP supports both LSE&E regional grant making, England wide grant making and Partnerships. SLP Funding Officers are involved in England Wide and Partnership Work beyond LSE&E and across England regions. They work with LSE&E colleagues, the Regional Leadership Team and England Wide.
SLP has a uniquely collaborative function, working together with local patches, the region as a whole and across England.

About the Role
As Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer, you will support the design and implementation of evidenced-based projects. We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong commitment to human rights and driving change. You will bring experience in training, development, and management to take on the role of Training and Development Manager, leading our training and education development projects.
The Role
This is a rewarding leadership role where you will:
- Lead the development and enhancement of Savera UK’s training and education package on HBA, harmful practices, and related issues
- Take responsibility for the development, delivery, and management of the National Lottery-funded Reaching Communities training project, including managing a team to deliver project outcomes
- Develop advanced, in-depth training programmes tailored to a range of professional audiences, including health, social care, education, the voluntary sector, and community groups
- Design flexible training programmes that can be delivered online, in person, or in hybrid formats, with the ability to tailor content to meet the needs of different organisations and CPD requirements
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of training and development
- Expertise in designing, developing, delivering, implementing and managing high-quality training and education packages and programmes
- Experience in delivering training to a range of audiences and adding to Savera UK’s own expertise
- Experience in leading, mentoring and supporting staff and volunteers
- Experience in training, project management, and budgeting
- Commitment to Savera UK’s values of respect, inclusion, compassion, innovation, and ambition

To achieve this, STEM Learning provides a range of support which includes subject-specific professional development for teachers and other educators, quality assured resources, STEM Ambassadors programme, and a suite of enhancement and enrichment activities.
Reporting to the Project Lead, the Account Management Officer will manage relationships with STEM Learning’s valued funders while working to ambitious targets, ensuring they have an exceptional experience. Please note that this is a 12-month FTC maternity cover role.
This role will be mostly home-based, with one office day per month (travel costs covered) at either London (City) or York University (walking distance from York city centre). Travel for meetings will be expensed. The National STEM Learning Centre based at York University is a unique and impressive teacher CPD venue, mirroring the modern classroom and laboratory facilities, as well as housing their inspirational resources centre.
About the role
Key responsibilities for the Account Management Officer role include:
- Stewardship of Funders: Manage and streamline communications with STEM Learning’s growing group of funders.
- Creative Engagement: Develop innovative ways to engage with funders, including strategic partnerships, commercial activities, and employee engagement through the STEM Ambassadors programme.
- Effective Communication: Correspond with funders using creative and engaging methods.
- Creating “Wow” Moments: Build personal connections between funders and STEM Learning’s mission.
- Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to ensure effective partnership delivery.
- Impact Evidence: Leverage STEM Learning’s impact evidence and collaborate with the Evaluation Team.
- Growth and Renewals: Ensure the growth and renewal of existing partnerships.
- New Partnerships: Work with the Fundraising Development team on pitches and ensure a smooth handover of new wins.
About you
Ideal skills and experience:
- Track record in building and sustaining exceptional relationships with supporters and funders
- Strong organisational skills, enthusiasm and tenacity
- Excellent communication skills and collaboration are a must
- Specialist knowledge of the trends and developments in the sector completed through relevant training is desirable. In the role, you will need to stay up to date on relevant press and industry news.
