Position Title: Helpline Supervisor
Reports To: Helpline Manager / CEO
Salary: £36,000 per annum, plus pension and employer NI contributions
Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract: Permanent, full-time, flexibility required in work hours

Role Purpose:
The Helpline Supervisor will provide support, guidance and supervise the helpline advisors and in the future helpline volunteers. The role will further provide emotional support and debriefing for the helpline advisors and volunteers during each helpline shift and when appropriate after each reported incident. They will also oversee the quality of service and ensure each report is dealt with appropriately to a high standard and that reports are logged appropriately recording all relevant information, ensuring data is protected and all procedures are followed.
Role Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance and emotional support to helpline advisors.

Monitor call logs, case records, and system reports to ensure quality and flag complex or urgent cases.

Ensure safeguarding protocols are followed and lead on referrals involving serious risk or protection concerns.

Deliver pre-shift briefings, post-shift debriefs, and facilitate reflective practice sessions.

Coordinate rotas and ensure adequate shift coverage.

Support the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of helpline staff (and volunteers when).

Promote staff wellbeing and implement trauma-informed approaches in staff support.

Liaise with external agencies and partners to strengthen referral pathways and collaborative responses.

Lead on service improvement by identifying trends, risks, and areas for development.

Monitor and analyse service data to contribute to internal reviews and funder reporting.

Ensure compliance with data protection, confidentiality, and safeguarding standards.

Person Specification:

Supervisory or senior experience in helpline, casework, or support services.

Proven ability to provide emotional and professional support to frontline staff.

About the Role
Community Connectors work as part of an integrated, blended mental health offer to support people with emotional, social and practical needs to access a range of local, non-medical and non-clinical services, to improve confidence, social inclusion and independence.
This role will involve working as part of a multi-disciplinary team with statutory, third sector and NHS colleagues to support clients who are suffering from moderate to severe mental health difficulties. You will need to have experience working with those suffering with mental health illness as well as being able to demonstrate in depth knowledge of the services, support networks and local resources that may assist in improved outcomes for those dealing with complex and enduring mental health issues. The ability to be adaptable, work independently and the resilience to work in some challenging environments are key attributes for this role.
What the Service provides:
- Work within a Primary Care Network as part of a blended mental health team working individually with people to co-produce plans and set goals.
- Take a holistic approach – looking at wider determinants of health.
- Offer an in-depth knowledge of the local VCSE and community resources.
- Support people on a 1:1 basis over 12 weeks to overcome barriers to engagement and walk the journey together.
Service Delivery
- Assess suitability for community connection support as part of a blended team approach and support individuals to access the service by utilising in depth knowledge of local voluntary and community services and networks in your respective area
- To work with individuals to coproduce a plan to address their mental health and wellbeing goals. Am enable people to achieve these goals through facilitating access and connecting with appropriate resources
- Enable people to access community resources which may include accompanying them.
- Offer support, guidance and help where possible to people to gain confidence, overcome initial fears and seek solutions to any barriers inhibiting attendance.
- Take a holistic approach, based on the individuals’ priorities and wider determinants of health that impact on their health and wellbeing, such as debt, poor housing, being unemployed, loneliness and caring responsibilities.
- To work as part of an integrated team to ensure the best outcomes for each person accessing the service.
- Identify and build good working relationships with the community groups, relevant services and activities for partnership work and signposting as well as keep updated information about them.
- Competently work as part of a blended team, under direction from Mind BLMK and ELFT (East London NHS Foundation Trust), working with independence and in an agile way to support people with complex mental health challenges.

Role Requirements
You will play a vital role in coordinating care and supporting the management of the House, serving as a key contact for families and the multidisciplinary team. Collaborating with the House Manager and Placement Managers, you will help ensure that care is effectively planned, resourced, and delivered safely at all times.
You will support the house manager to ensure that the care on house or houses enables the children to access their education and/or rehabilitation sessions, clinics, and leisure activities in their timetable.
You will work as part of a leadership team comprising of a house manager, deputy house manager / deputy clinical lead and a clinical lead (per house) responsible for one or two houses within a rotational model. You will individually (not as a team) rotate at a house level on a twelve-monthly basis.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve.
- The purpose of this role is to provide direct support to victims of crime ensuring that the North Wales Victim Help Centre realise their aim of helping people cope and recover from the effects of crime.

We’re recruiting for a Communications Manager, England, to play a vital role in helping us to build community cohesion, strengthen society, and improve lives – as we deliver on our strategy, It Starts With Community.This role is an 18 month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity.
The position is part of an exciting and sophisticated programme aimed at tackling social issues. Through this initiative, we work closely with government to distribute money from long since unused bank and building society accounts (‘dormant assets’) for the benefit of the community.
The job will focus on two multi-million-pound funding schemes that The National Lottery Community Fund will deliver. These are:
- The Community Wealth Fund (a pot of money given to local communities to spend on what they decide will improve where they live); and
- The Youth Enrichment Fund (aimed at increasing disadvantaged young people’s access to opportunities in the arts, culture, sports, and wider youth services, aimed at improving wellbeing and employability)
In this role, you’ll work closely with government and colleagues across the Fund to deliver integrated, multi-channel communications activities that effectively promote these programmes and showcase their impact on the communities we serve. Your work will help shape public understanding of the schemes, inspire communities to engage with them, and build trust with key stakeholders.
We are looking for a calm and organised strategic communicator and storyteller with an ability to build relationships and adapt. You’ll be experienced in developing integrated campaigns and working across teams to deliver high-impact communications.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop deep insight into these programmes, to enable you to implement effective communications plans for them while supporting Strategic Communications Leads to build and manage matrix teams.

You will be responsible for the direct delivery of elop’s LGBTQ+ Young Peoples Service, including promotion, & administration, along with the induction, support & supervision of volunteers and interns. You will work alongside the wider staff team to support elop’s work with LGBTQ+ young people and contribute to sustainable service development.
The delivery of group support and activities will take place in person, and you will be office based three days a week with some remote working on other days before returning to full time in person working.
Full Time: 37 hours per week
You must be available to work Tuesday evenings & once a month on a Sunday afternoon. There will be occasional other evenings / weekend working required.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?
The Complex Needs Support Worker will support individuals facing multiple challenges, including substance misuse, exiting sex work, domestic abuse, and/or co-occurring issues such as low-level mental health concerns. Based in a 9-bedroom complex unit, the role involves helping service users live independently, achieve personal goals, and maintain housing stability. This includes fostering strong professional networks, collaborating with partner agencies, reporting and following up on repairs, ensuring rent payments are made, and carrying out daily health and safety checks.
The postholder will hold an allocated caseload, delivering regular 1:1 support sessions to assess needs, develop safety plans, and make referrals to specialist services. They will manage safeguarding concerns in line with policy, participate in multi-agency meetings, and ensure all case notes and assessments are up to date. The role requires a proactive approach to housing maintenance, adherence to health and safety standards, and a commitment to empowering service users to progress towards independence.

1. The Role
The Head of Audiences is a new leadership role in the Commercial Operations team designed to ensure that audience insight and segmentation are at the heart of everything we do. This role will lead on understanding who our current and prospective audiences are, how they engage with us and what they need now and in the future. The role is part of the Commercial Operations team led by the Chief Operating Officer and will work closely with the Head of Programming and Head of Visitor Experience. However, you will work with the wider leadership and their teams to ensure that both the community programme and on-site experience are insight-led, responsive to audience needs, and relevant to a wide range of segments. About the Role
As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. This varied role spans many aspects of our work, from administration and resource management to supporting the systems and tools that keep Beacon working efficiently. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the charity and in supporting senior staff.
