Finance

• Responsible for processing all income in SAGE from various platforms reconciling income to bank statements.
• Responsible for processing monthly/annual journal and accruals
• Responsible for sales invoicing.

LEF was established as the Legal Education Foundation in 2012. Over the years, the organisation has grown into providing broad support for organisations in relation to law and social justice, and, in 2025, they became LEF with a focus on the potential of the law to strengthen the power of communities to create a more just and equal society.

LEF is entering a bold new strategic phase, following a transformative rebrand and renewed focus on the power of communities to use and shape the law to achieve social justice. With financial assets exceeding £280 million, LEF is uniquely positioned to build bridges between the law and communities facing injustice, to tackle the root causes of inequality.

The Director of Operations is a member of the Senior Management Team. The overall purpose of the role is to work with colleagues across the organisation to develop and oversee effective and efficient administrative, IT, finance and operational policies, systems and services to support delivery of the foundation's strategy, while ensuring that these policies, systems and support services uphold the foundation's culture and values.

The Director of Operations also plays a key role in shaping and sustaining an inclusive, collaborative and values-driven organisational culture, ensuring that systems, processes and ways of working promote staff wellbeing, equity and learning across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Provide organisational leadership across core operational functions and contribute to SMT and Board decision-making to ensure effective, compliant and future-focused operations.
• Human Resources: Oversee HR strategy, policies and processes to create an inclusive, supportive and high-performing workplace.
• Digital, IT, Facilities & Infrastructure: Ensure robust, secure and efficient digital, IT, facilities and infrastructure systems that enable staff to work effectively across all locations.
• Finance: Lead and support the finance function to maintain strong financial planning, control, compliance and investment oversight.
• Governance: Maintain effective governance structures, ensure regulatory compliance and provide clear, timely information to the Board and committees.

Senior experience in the foundation or wider voluntary sector, ideally with insight into the needs of social justice organisations and voluntary sector infrastructure is desirable.

LEF is based near Goodge Street tube station (WC1E 7EB). You will need to be willing to attend the office at least twice a week, as well as be able to attend meetings and events across London. This is an interim role for 6 months. LEF will be recruiting for the permanent position early next year and the successful candidate will be open to apply. The ideal start date for the candidate will be mid/late-January so you will need to be immediately available or able to start in January.

Prospectus is delighted to be working with the foundation to recruit a Funding Operations Administrator on a full-time basis. This role will be key member of the Operations Team and will offer broad administrative support to the foundation in all aspects of its work.

A hybrid working model is in place which entails working at least 2 days per week in their office in Kings Cross (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and the remainder flexibly working from home if you wish (although this role may sometimes require additional office-based days for special meetings or events).

The role:
This role contributes to the delivery of the foundation’s strategy by providing comprehensive support to the resources, operations and funding teams, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the organisation.

This is a very broad role which will provide essential input to processes right across the organisation and will be rooted in excellent customer service principles, effective communication and genuine teamwork and collaboration.

It will range from arranging meetings rooms, reception duty, preparing reports for Trustee meetings and arranging and minuting meetings and helping with the logistics of convening events and seminars. It will also involve data input, analysis and reporting using the Salesforce Database, supporting the funding team with Salesforce day-to-day queries and carrying out initial eligibility assessments of initial expressions of interest from organisations interested in applying for funding.

The person:
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy office-based environment with experience of working with CRM databases and providing excellent customer service both internally and externally.

This person will be highly organised and will have a great eye for detail whilst being naturally helpful by nature and willing to get involved. There is plenty of room for development, so someone who is keen to learn and develop new skills in addition to bringing their own creativity and enthusiasm to the role will be important.

Strong IT skills, systematic and methodical, this person will be a natural problem solver and good at multi-tasking and meeting deadlines. They will also be a good communicator both verbally and in writing with the ability to see the bigger picture. Having a strong vision on how crucial effective administrative support work is to ensuring an organisation meets its charitable objectives and provides an outstanding service to its grantees and stakeholders.

You will join the UK Advocacy and Health Intelligence Department within the Chief Executive's Directorate. The team is responsible for leading UK strategy development and delivery across advocacy (policy, public affairs, campaigning) and health intelligence, working closely with colleagues across the UK to ensure effective delivery of the strategy in each nation. The department sits in the Chief Executive's Directorate to ensure driving positive change with and for people with arthritis is at the heart of the organisation.

The Department works closely with colleagues across the charity, including Services, Research and Income and Engagement to ensure we are joined up in our approach to arthritis.

About the role
The Researcher is a new, important post at Arthritis UK. Working within our Health Intelligence team, you will lead on providing expertise on the latest relevant research evidence, providing a responsive, robust and balanced assessment of the available evidence and any key gaps to shape the charity's UK advocacy agenda, and drive organisational priorities. Working across a range of issues you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the experiences and needs of people living with arthritis are understood and acted upon, and that arthritis is taken seriously across the UK.

About you
If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we'd love to hear from you:

• In-depth knowledge and experience in working in health-related, research.
• Experience in the synthesis and evaluation of research evidence across a range of sources (including grey literature), including in the design and delivery of rapid reviews.
• Experience in communicating clearly and succinctly to non-technical and non-expert audiences, through both written formats (e.g. briefing papers) and verbally (e.g. via presentations and meetings with senior stakeholders), with a robust approach to accessibility throughout communication.
• Demonstrable understanding of how research can be used to shape policy and practice.
• Experience of consistently applying a range of techniques and research methods applicable to framing research questions, evidence review and research evaluation.
• Able to communicate findings and conclusions clearly to non-specialist and specialist audiences.
• Educated to at least master's degree level or equivalent.

About the role

As Director of Finance and Resources and with an oversight of a £15m budget, we are looking for a strong, corporate business leader operating at a senior level to help take Cystic Fibrosis Trust forward on our exciting journey towards a life unlimited by cystic fibrosis and optimising our finance and resources to deliver maximum impact for people with cystic fibrosis.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Digital and information systems: Lead IT and Digital development and implementation strategies, including delivery of the new CRM replacement going live in 2026 (MS Dynamics).
• People and Organisation Development: Lead best practice in our people management strategies, policies and practices as well as championing diversity and inclusion and staff learning and development.

To be the right person for this role, the requirements you will need to meet include:

• To be a qualified accountant (CCAB recognised or equivalent) with minimum five years post‑qualification experience and ongoing CPD. 
• Successful experience in a business leadership role to operate at a Director/Board level and as a senior leadership team member. 
• Experience of developing effective short and long term business and financial strategies.
• Managing complex budgets, financial modelling and projections.
• Experience of directing, leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience of working successfully in a changing organisation where flexibility, agility and adaptability are essential.

The Role

The Finance & Operations Coordinator is a central position in a small, purpose-driven team. About the role

We’re looking for a Voice Officer with experience of working with children, young people and their families and amplifying their voices to help create positive change to join our Voice Team. 

The Voice Officer is a key member of the Voice Team, responsible for enabling Young Lives vs Cancer to shape the children and young people’s cancer system with and for young people with cancer and their families. You will enable young people affected by cancer and their families to have a stronger voice inside and outside the organisation - not just to contribute, but also to challenge, giving the power to them to amplify their voice and make positive change.

You will work with the Voice Manager and Head of Voice to deliver our Voice work to a high quality. Responsible for managing incoming enquiries and communications with our volunteer Voice Board Members, Voice Champions and Voice Hub network, working with the team to plan and run meetings and events both online and in person. With excellent organisational skills, you will help plan and coordinate our voice work, building strong working relationships with colleagues and our voice community with volunteer management responsibility for Voice Board Members and Voice Champions.

Founded in 1982, Galop has been championing the safety of the LGBT+ community for over 40 years. The charity works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. They run four national support helplines: for victims and survivors of domestic abuse, survivors of so-called “conversion therapy”, survivors of rape and sexual violence, and LGBT+ people who have experienced hate crime. They provide advocacy services, both in London and nationally, for victims who need longer-term support. They are a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of the community are at the centre of what they do.

This role is offered on a full-time permanent contract basis paying a salary between £41,534 to £44,749 (including Inner London Weighting of £4,009) per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.

The charity started investing in Individual Giving in October 2023, with some key foundation building and early fundraising activity having taken place since then. They work directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. They run four national support helplines: for LGBT+ victims and survivors of domestic abuse, survivors of so-called “conversion therapy”, survivors of rape and sexual violence, and LGBT+ people who have experienced hate crime. They provide advocacy services, both in London and nationally, for LGBT+ victims who need longer-term support. They are a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of the community are at the centre of what they do.

This role is offered on a full-time permanent contract basis paying a salary between £40,000 to £47,000 per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.

This role aims to develop, execute and deliver a strategic plan for philanthropic growth from major donors. The post holder will work with the Head of Fundraising and Comms to develop the charity's major donor strategy, establishing clear goals with sustainable fundraising targets, helping to ensure the long-term stability of the charity. They will be responsible for developing creative and meaningful high-quality donor experiences. The post holder will be responsible for creating a tailored communication plan for major donors, including regular reports demonstrating the difference their contributions have made.

They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of raising income from mid and high-level donors. They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience of researching, securing and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of LGBT+ experiences and communities with experience of working in the LGBT+, VAWG, or victim support sectors.
