After ten successful years of growth, underpinned by a strong mission and successful fundraising, the Chineke! Foundation is looking for a Projects Director who will help ensure that the production and organisation of projects match their artistic ambition.

You will play an important role in the continued growth and evolution of the organisation. You will work closely with the Projects Team and lead on planning, selling and delivery. You will communicate the development of any new projects whilst overseeing the pre-existing engagements and work closely with our touring agents at Askonas Holt. Reporting to the Managing Director and working as part of our dynamic team of management staff you will play a vital role in the organisation.

Job description

Reporting to the Managing Director and in coordination with the Artistic Director and Deputy Artistic Director, you will handle the orchestra’s diary, lead on the production of projects and line manage the Orchestra & Tour Manager and our Production freelancers.

Your responsibilities will be:

· Attending all Chineke! rehearsals, projects and tours

· Working closely with the artistic team to assist on curation of programmes, keeping track of conductor/soloist invites and handling contracting once bookings have been confirmed

· Meeting with venues to generate interest in our future programmes and secure concert dates to build out regional tours around core Southbank Centre dates

· Keeping the Development Director and Marketing and Communications Manager up to date on projects and future plans

· Keeping track of our National Portfolio Organisation requirements with Arts Council and planning projects to meet our targets on the number of concerts in each category that we have committed to in each financial year

· Working closely with our important partners i.e. Askonas Holt, Southbank Centre, Woolwich Works, Royal Albert Hall

· Working closely with the Artistic Team and Managing Director to ensure that our performance plans align with our mission and 5 Year Development Plan

· Producing and negotiating contracts to engagements (conductors, soloists, with venues/festivals, tours, commercial engagements etc.)

· Contributing to a supportive and collegiate culture within the Chineke! Foundation

Fine Cell Work (FCW) is a charity and creative social enterprise committed to the rehabilitation of people in prison, and post-release. Our innovative Open the Gate (OTG) programme at our Battersea Hub offers work experience, volunteering opportunities, accredited training, mentoring, and signposting support to participants/ Apprentices at any point on their resettlement journey. We are now looking for an experienced and dynamic Engagement and Support Officer (ESO) to join our team. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by people in contact with the criminal justice system and will work proactively to establish meaningful and sustainable cross-referral pathways with external agencies. They will nurture a professional, inclusive, and safe working environment; use their knowledge, insights, and expertise to support tangible outcomes for all Open The Gate participants; and develop the wider programme offer in line with our organisational objectives.

Principal Accountabilities for the Core Job:

1. Nurturing a professional working environment where Open The Gate Apprentices are supported to achieve their potential.

2. Building and maintaining referral partnerships with external agencies [including HMP resettlement teams, probation services, approved premises and community-based organisations supporting prison-leavers] to increase participant numbers and sustain engagement with Open the Gate.

3. Coordinating applications and referrals for prospective Apprentices, gathering relevant information for dissemination to the wider team.  

4. Working with colleagues in the Programmes team to develop risk management and support plans for each Apprentice, using information regarding offences, licence conditions and risk areas, liaising closing with the probation service and other agencies where relevant.

5. Ensuring timely, accurate, and safe recording of all information and personal data.

6. Case management of Apprentices, including action-planning and goal setting in consultation with the Workshops Manager, supporting Apprentices to achieve work-ready outcomes in an agreed period.

7. Providing day to day practical, pastoral, and sign-posting support to a caseload of Apprentices and providing ad-hoc support to graduate Apprentices when required.

8. Working with the wider team at Fine Cell Work to develop and coordinate a series of employability and creative wellbeing workshops for Apprentices.

9. Supporting small grant application processes on behalf of Apprentices.

10. Responding to safeguarding concerns in line with Fine Cell Work policy and procedure.

Essential

We have an ambition to support 15,000 young people across the UK annually with our mentoring programmes by 2028. To achieve this goal, we need to build new partnerships, secure funds through grants and foundations and grow our external profile. Responsible for

This role will give you the opportunity to work across all our income generating activity and will suit someone who enjoys breadth and depth in their day to day: 

Grants:

• Identifying and researching trusts, foundations, and grant opportunities to add to the pipeline 

• Liaising with the Programmes team and others on the content of an application 

• Writing and submitting high-quality applications

• Tracking and updating all submissions on our CRM (Salesforce) 

Business development: 

• Generating prospect leads through desk-based research and identifying sectors and organisations to target 

• Contacting prospects and leading initial conversations 

• Responding to incoming requests from organisations 

• Represent Brightside at networking events

• Writing bespoke and compelling proposals 

• Tracking and updating all relationships on our CRM (Salesforce) 

Communications and marketing: 

• Working with the team to identify marketing campaigns and collateral to attract new leads

Reporting:

Main Purpose of the Role:

To lead the effective and high-quality delivery of peer-led support for individuals on their recovery journey across the Borough of Haringey. This role will require dynamic, hands-on management of BUBIC’s team, encompassing staff, peer mentors, and volunteers, to meet key performance indicators and community needs.

You will represent BUBIC’s values in all aspects of your work, including strengthening existing partnerships and cultivating new community links. A flexible approach is essential, with regular night shifts and occasional weekend work expected to provide outreach and attend local events.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong, responsive leadership and day-to-day management of a diverse team.

Experience:

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.   

We support all people who have experienced forced migration, regardless of their proximity to the labour market, to develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We run STEP online and in person programmes across the UK.  

We are now expanding our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kong BNO status/visa holder (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.

We are recruiting Cantonese speaking Employment Advisors to join the STEP team delivering this new programme. You will provide high quality advice and guidance through 1:1 employability support and group employability workshops with the aim of coaching individuals and supporting them on their journey into employment that suits their previous experience and skill set.

You will prepare participants for employment and help them to achieve their chosen training and employment objectives. You will monitor and encourage participants’ engagement and attendance in all aspects of the programme. You will provide an exemplary level of support to STEP participants working towards a variety of performance targets based on the progression outcomes of participants including successful delivery of workshops, completion of training courses, volunteering, and achieving and sustaining paid employment. 

The Employment Advisors will work remotely and can be based anywhere in the UK.

About you
