The Talent Set is excited to be working with a leading UK charity to recruit an Interim Individual Giving Manager for an initial 3-month contract focused on campaign delivery and supporter retention.
This is an ideal role for an experienced Individual Giving professional who can confidently step into a fast-moving environment and keep high-performing fundraising programmes running smoothly during a period of transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of warm donor campaigns across channels such as direct mail, digital, telemarketing and print.

The role
Sustrans is the UK’s leading active travel organisation, working to make it possible for people across society to walk, wheel and cycle. We have a new strategy for the next five years, a key strand of which is to unlock active travel in new housing developments, and we are recruiting a Head of New Developments to lead this work.
This is a new position in which you will draw on your experience in the housing delivery sector to grow Sustrans’ contribution to the creation of new communities that have active mobility at their heart. As well as leading our influencing work aimed at organisations in housing delivery, you will develop and promote an offer to partners, drawing on Sustrans’ existing infrastructure, behaviour change and advisory services. You will connect with, inform and inspire professionals and decision makers involved in delivering new homes to adopt the actions required to increase active travel in their developments. Through collaboration with our Commercial team and subject experts across Sustrans, you will develop a pipeline of funded work from public, private and third sector organisations, ultimately enabling more households to walk, wheel or cycle for their day-to-day journeys.
The role can be based in any Sustrans office and will involve frequent in-person meetings and site visits, particularly (but not exclusively) in the Midlands and South of England.
About you
You’ll have significant experience contributing to the delivery of new developments through work for or with organisations such as developers, housing providers, consultancies, local authorities or government. We’re looking for applicants with a professional network in housing delivery, and significant experience securing new commissions from and/or influencing organisations involved in delivering new developments. You’ll have a strong understanding of the development process, including the spatial planning system, and of the roles of the parties involved in delivering new developments, the power dynamics between them, and the opportunities and appetite each has for taking action to increase active travel. Working location: mostly remote work with some travel required. Based in the central area of the South West region you will deliver a face-to-face service to clients in their own home or safe meeting place across the Dorset, Avon, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire area as well as providing support by Teams, phone, email or other means to suit the service user. We take a person-centred approach so the amount of travel will vary depending on your caseload at the time. You’re in control of your own diary.
Why this role is important: Every 20 minutes, someone is killed or seriously injured on UK roads. For families affected, the emotional and practical challenges are immense. As a Caseworker, you will provide trauma-informed care to individuals and families suffering from the sudden bereavement or life-altering injury of a loved one. Working mostly remotely, with some home visits to service users, you’ll offer vital emotional and practical support—including helping them access therapeutic resources, financial assistance, and guidance through the complexities of medical and legal processes.
About Brake: Brake is a renowned and respected road safety charity with a 30-year history dedicated to supporting people affected by road crashes and advocating for safer streets.
You'll join a closely knit team of fellow caseworkers, each using their individual experience and skills to provide person-centred support to victims. 2wish has been established since 2012 and has since grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death.
We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We work in partnership with professionals who refer into the charity on behalf of families, so they don’t have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.
We were founded as a Welsh organisation providing immediate casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage. In January 2024, we expanded into ‘phase one’ England, namely Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Somerset. And in July 2025 we will expand into ‘phase two’ England, namely Merseyside, Devon and Cornwall, Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Context of role:
The Therapies Assessor and Service Manager will lead the development, coordination, and delivery of our support service for families, professionals and individuals affected by sudden bereavement. Working closely with the Immediate Support and Debrief Manager who is responsible for leading the immediate support and debrief service, you will be responsible for ensuring that our ongoing services are trauma-informed, consistent and delivered to a high standard supporting the complex and individual needs of those who have experienced profound loss.
This role will oversee the existing ongoing support service delivered across Wales and the expansion phases across England and will contine to grow the team as the charity expands. Services include counselling, complementary therapy, play therapy, support events, coffee mornings, wellbeing walks, online events and our beautiful respite house, Ty Uchaf. You will manage a team of nine individuals who are a mixture of full and part time roles. You will work closely with the Therapies Assessor and Service Manager and Children and Young People Service Manager to provide a holistic, joined up service to all who access our service.
Main duties:
- To manage the bereavement service including the operational delivery of our therapeutic service and ongoing support, ensuring the service is delivered consistently, responsively and to a high standard
- Monitor and maintain high-quality therapeutic support in line with ethical frameworks (e.g., BACP/UKCP/BAPT).
- Ensure client records, risk assessments, and service monitoring forms are accurate and stored securely.
- Manage referrals, assessments, allocation of clients, and waiting lists efficiently.
- To develop and oversee ongoing support services including coffee mornings, support events, our respite house and online support events, in line with budget and service delivery expectation
- To work closely with the Head of Bereavement Services to ensure delivery and growth of services
- To oversee the awareness raising efforts with our secondary referral partners across Wales and the two phases of England
- To oversee the service and monitoring tools and ensure we are actively gathering feedback and monitoring appropriately
Management:
- To lead, motivate and line manage the ongoing support team responsible for delivering our ongoing support service
- Manage a growing team, organise regular team meetings and set realistic but challenging objectives to further the work of the charity
- To carry our monthly supervisions and bi-annual appraisals with the Counselling and Support Outreach Coordinators and Support Coordinator
- To carry out bi-monthly case reviews with the Immediate Support team
- To produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to evidence activity and impact
- To develop and oversee a training programme for the team including mandatory and varied subject matter
General:
- To be responsible for organising own work agenda, time management and administration
- To show respect and sensitivity for the cultural and religious beliefs of families
- To undertake learning opportunities and seek them out for the team
- To adhere to all company policies and procedures including Safeguarding, Confidentiality, Health and Safety and Lone Working; and to be proactive in implementing new safe working practices as appropriate
- To attend weekend and evening community events in support of the charity as necessary
- Participate as and when required in team meetings and one-to-one meetings, and undertake, as appropriate, courses/training/other developmental activities, which is relevant to the role

It is the nature of the work that tasks and responsibilities are in may circumstances unpredictable and varied. All employees are therefore expected to work in a flexible way and tasks, which are not specifically covered in their job description may have to be undertaken.

Salary: Starting salary of £32,000 per annum, with the opportunity for an increase through the annual appraisal structure.

Hours: Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, although alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu.
Annual leave: 28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.

As Business Development Manager for our Community Services will focus and lead on:
· Analysing and unlocking opportunities for new business
· Implementing business development plans
· Supporting with getting new funding and bringing services to fruition
You will be responsible for identifying and building partnerships with NHS Trusts, Audiology Departments and ICBs to secure funding and expand our RNID Near You services across the UK. You’ll work closely with internal teams to develop business cases, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure the successful launch of new RNID Near You contracts.
What you'll be doing
· Identify and build relationships with potential funders such as NHS Foundation Trusts, Audiology Departments, and ICBs to support service expansion.
· Collaborate with the Bids and Tender Manager to secure funding and develop compelling business cases for new RNID Near You services.
· Implement business development plans in partnership with Heads of Operations, supporting various workstreams and projects.
· Analyse and evaluate new service opportunities, contributing to a pipeline of potential contracts and making strategic recommendations.
· Ensure delivery of growth targets, including the opening of at least four new service contracts per financial year in line with RNID’s multi-year plan.
You will be a commercially minded professional with proven business development expertise specifically within the health sector, particularly in securing new contracts and driving service growth. You’ll bring a strategic mindset and ability to spot and seize opportunities through partnerships and projects. Your excellent relationship-building and communication skills will enable you to craft compelling proposals that resonate with stakeholders. A collaborative team player, you’ll thrive on bringing people together to achieve shared goals, and you’ll be motivated by purpose, with a strong understanding, or willingness to learn, about deaf culture and the communities we support.
RNID Near You is our national community-based service run by trained volunteers which offers:
· a hearing check and information on how to book a full hearing test.
· basic hearing aid repairs, cleaning, and advice on using hearing aids.
· information on hearing aids, hearing loss, tinnitus, and related issues, including emotional and practical peer support from volunteers with lived experience.

The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, relationally driven Relationship Manager to join our team and take the lead in expanding our work with churches across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a heart for ministry and a passion for strengthening relationships within Christian communities.
You will play a key role in:
- Cultivating and managing relationships with churches and church networks
- Encouraging churches to adopt and run the Achord Course
- Providing ongoing support and training to church leaders and volunteers
- Growing awareness of Achord's mission and resources within the Christian sector
- Play an active role in ensuring the charity’s long-term financial and operational viability.
This role is ideal for a confident, self-starting individual—possibly with a background in sales or ministry—who is eager to build lasting partnerships and see local churches equipped to make a lasting impact in the lives of their congregants and their communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and connect with churches interested in strengthening relationships in their congregations and communities
- Present the Achord vision and course offerings through in-person visits, online meetings and church events.
- Develop strong partnerships with church leaders, providing support from onboarding to implementation.
- Deliver introductory sessions, training, and occasional speaking engagements.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and partner progress using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create church-facing communications and resources.
- Gather feedback and impact stories to help shape future offerings
- Represent Achord at conferences, exhibitions, and relevant Christian networks
- Deliver agreed church sign-up and growth targets through proactive outreach and partnership development, supporting the charity’s long-term sustainability and self-funding goals.
Person Specification
Essential
- A confident, proactive communicator with excellent relational and networking skills
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet growth targets
- Passionate about healthy relationships and aligned with Achord’s mission and Christian ethos
- Experience in a client-facing, relationship-building or sales role
- Understanding of the church landscape and comfortable engaging with church leaders
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple relationships and projects simultaneously
- Experience with CRMs or client tracking tools, data input, GDPR best practice
- Proficient ITC skills: email, database, Microsoft Office applications
- Flexibility to attend evening and weekend events or church services if required

- Active member of a local church
- Experience delivering training or facilitating small groups
- Previous work in a faith-based charity or organisation
