The role of Fundraising Lead is to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. You will develop high value 6- and 7-figure fundraising relationships, primarily with the private sector, but also with HNWIs in the future, bringing on board new supporters, so maximising income and sustainability.
With proposals already in play with leading brands, a supportive Head of Fundraising, and active trustee involvement, this is a rare opportunity to make a visible impact in an ambitious organisation.
As Fundraising Lead, you will:
- Lead corporate new business, with full responsibility for a £300k year-one target
- Build and manage a proactive new business pipeline, using prospect research tools, networking and trustee engagement
- Secure six-figure, multi-year corporate partnerships, developing creative offers across unrestricted, programme-based and blended opportunities
- Focus in the short-medium term on corporate new business, moving to incorporate HNWIs in time
- Work with the Head of Fundraising, SMT and board members to open doors and build senior-level relationships
- Collaborate with colleagues including the account management team and bid writer to ensure seamless handover and delivery of secured partnerships
- Represent STEM Learning externally, positioning the organisation as a credible and attractive partner for major corporate supporters
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proven track record of securing six-figure corporate partnerships, ideally multi-year
- Experience building a corporate pipeline from scratch, including research, prospecting and networking
- Strong understanding of how to package and position fundraising propositions to align donor interests with organisational priorities
- Confident and credible with senior stakeholders, including trustees, boards and senior corporate contacts
- Target-driven, entrepreneurial and proactive, able to deliver short-term results while building long-term income growth
- Collaborative and resilient, with the ability to represent STEM Learning externally and inspire confidence internally
- Experience in building relationships with HNWIs and major donor fundraising desirable, but not essential

About the role
In this role, you'll play a key part in upskilling practitioners who support victims and witnesses of crime, helping them develop the soft skills needed to make a meaningful impact. You'll be at the forefront of modern learning design, applying contemporary thinking and innovative approaches to shape materials that are both practical and powerful. You'll need to be a dynamic learning professional with a strong grasp of learning theory and a flair for designing engaging, outcome-driven content across multiple formats.

You will;
- Support the scoping of learning needs with L&D colleagues and make recommendations on potential learning interventions.
- Lead on the design and implementation of virtual and in person learning and other interventions (including independent learning resources, handbooks, tools), within a project management framework, working with a range of key stakeholders, ensuring products are designed within scope, delivered on time, within budget and achieve the desired outcome.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation collating learning needs and providing consultation on effective learning solutions.
- Lead on the continuous improvement of learning across the organisation, using various sources of information, to make recommendations on amendments. Take ownership of courses and conduct scheduled reviews on content and the effectiveness of the intervention.

It is essential to be able to work without direct supervision, prioritise work and deal with competing and conflicting demands in an organised and effective manner. The post is for 37.5 hours per week and a degree of flexibility is necessary. This role will work from home but will have moderate travel nationally across the organisation.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor to provide sound technical advice and guidance to ensure high quality qualitative outcome measurement tools and approaches in line with our increasing portfolio in disability and social inclusion in order to continuously improve Sightsavers’ evidence base.
As the MEL Advisor you will lead qualitative project baseline and endline data collection, coordination, reporting and learning to improve the quality of our programmes and Sightsavers impact. You will maintain and further develop Sightsavers’ qualitative outcome monitoring approach across our thematic areas and ensure high quality data collection, analysis and reporting.
Sightsavers has developed and introduced a MEL framework to measure the organisation’s strategic progress - Learning Accountability and Monitoring Progress (LAMP). The post holder will support its processes and make a significant contribution to understanding progress using qualitative evidence.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and strengthening practices

Lead on the strengthening and design of innovative and participatory monitoring and evaluation methodologies and tools to assess outcomes and impact of programmes; support the integration of successful approaches in routine MEL practice.

Lead on the piloting, implementation and revision of Sightsavers MEL approaches in existing and new projects including strong links with LAMP; support MEL team members to implement appropriate tools.

Contribute to Country Office, Regional and Global capacity building plans and provide MEL-focused training and facilitation.
Technical Support and guidance

Strengthen the use of Theories of Change (ToC) within projects through participating in their development and ensuring clear relationships between ToC and baselines and endlines.

Provide technical support to logframe development during the project design process ensuring strong links with LAMP, particularly for social inclusion and inclusive education projects.

Contribute to project MEL planning by ensuring continuity between baseline and endline data collection tools, and annual monitoring tools.

Skills and Experience
As the successful candidate you will possess a degree in a relevant field or subject (international development, public health, social sciences), or equivalent learning and experience. You will have a background in the comprehensive design and delivery of outcome focussed qualitative approaches/techniques including participatory MEL, tool development, data collection, analysis and reporting, and have experience of analysing rich qualitative data from multiple sources including the use of appropriate analysis methods and data analysis software tools.

Main Responsibilites:

Summary of the role:
