We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic Community Fundraiser to join our Income Generation Team.

Working to support the Birmingham Hospice brand, this varied role will support on the delivery of a diverse portfolio of Community Campaigns and events. The successful candidate will have a friendly and engaging personality and enjoy speaking to charity supporters face to face, over the phone and via email. 

Reporting directly to the Senior Community and Corporate Manager this role will grow our Community Impact by recruiting and managing community supporters and volunteers to drive our fundraising efforts across our key areas, lead and motivate individuals to take part in fundraising activities, turning conversations into lasting relationships that support our mission. Work closely with our community fundraising team to build new opportunities and continue to develop existing fundraising products.

The Work Rights Centre is looking for an experienced solicitor to contribute to our growing employment rights programme by providing expert legal advice and casework, and supporting the wider development of the charity and our strategic goals.

The role

As Employment Solicitor, you’ll provide excellent employment legal advice, and support the Head of Employment in supervising our two senior legal advisers. You’ll also use your expertise to create accessible public-facing legal information, deliver training to other advisers, and collaborate with colleagues in the policy team. This is a real opportunity to support vulnerable workers' individual and group claims, while contributing to systemic change.

About you

We seek a colleague who shares our mission to end in-work poverty by helping vulnerable workers find justice, and who has: 

• Three years PQE in the UK in employment law;

• Experience of working in a legal team, supervising and delegating work;

• Excellent case management skills, demonstrating an ability to quickly gather case facts, draft good case summaries, plan actions accordingly;

• Excellent client management skills, including courtesy, professionalism, an ability to set realistic expectations and keep the client informed of case progress;

• Knowledge of, and empathy with, the backgrounds and experiences of migrants and other vulnerable workers.

About the Role

As a Programme Coordinator, you will be responsible for student engagement, timetabling, logistics, and tutor performance, helping learners secure vital qualifications for their future.

Programme Coordination

• Manage a portfolio of up to 300 students throughout the year, ensuring sustained engagement with tutoring sessions.
• Prepare for programme launches, including timetabling of sessions and logistical planning.
• Maximise student reach by filling available tutoring spaces and maintaining an active pipeline of students.
• Develop strategies to enhance student engagement and track attendance KPIs using our CRM system (Salesforce).
• Prioritise safeguarding and student safety at all times.

 Tutor Performance and Delivery

• Oversee tutor task and session management to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
• Conduct regular check-ins with tutors, providing guidance and feedback.
• Observe tutoring sessions to uphold delivery standards and improve programme effectiveness.

College Relationships and Programme Logistics

• Build and maintain strong relationships with college staff to ensure seamless programme delivery.
• Manage logistical preparations, including scheduling sessions and room bookings.
• Maintain clear communication with college stakeholders and contribute to impact reporting.
• Support contract renewal discussions to sustain and expand partnerships.

 Creative Problem-Solving and Innovation

• Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance programme efficiency.
• Contribute to wider organisational projects, such as tutor training, resource development, and student engagement initiatives.
• Lead special projects aligned with your interests to further our mission.

Championing Get Further’s Vision and Values

• Represent Get Further’s values in all interactions with students, tutors, and external partners.
• Ensure accuracy in reporting and programme evaluation to drive positive systemic change.
• Collaborate with the wider team to support the charity’s strategic priorities.

The Head of Safeguarding and Customer Experience will continue and develop the successful corporate senior level oversight of safeguarding and oversee our Serious Incident Register and procedure to Board level. Additional to this through the delivery of excellent customer experience the post holder will be ambitious for the lives of the people we support and will ensure people are safe and well supported, the role will innovate and advocate for the voice of service user to be heard and their preferences for support respected and delivered.

The Head of Safeguarding and Customer Experience will oversee two small teams and be part of the Quality senior leadership team. You will be digitally literate, have excellent report writing and presentation skills and contribute to excellent social care governance processes with other senior colleagues and the executive team.

The post holder will be primarily based at our head office in Stockport, work pattern will be agreed based on the needs of the role. You will work in conjunction proactively with the senior management team in order to ensure excellent duty of care is delivered.  

The post holder will also be expected to deliver local skills based training sessions and coaching in order to improve management skills in managing and preventing safeguarding. Skills based work will include maintaining open and learning cultures, Duty of candour approaches and providing excellent customer experience.
