About the role:

As a Project Worker – Complex Needs, you’ll be at the heart of Single Homeless Project's (SHP) mission to end homelessness in London, working within our short-stay accommodation services that offer safety, stability, and a fresh start for people rebuilding their lives. Each day you’ll work alongside clients who have experienced homelessness and are navigating challenges such as substance use, mental health issues, trauma and physical health concerns. Through trust, persistence and creativity, you’ll help them access and sustain safe accommodation, reconnect with essential services, and take meaningful steps towards lasting independence.

You’ll build strong, consistent relationships that inspire confidence and hope, supporting clients to access healthcare, develop life skills, explore work and training opportunities, and strengthen their sense of belonging in the community. • Experience of working or supporting vulnerable people, rough sleepers or people with mental health, physical health or substance use support needs. 
• A non-judgemental approach to working with people facing multi-disadvantages and the skill to promote a strengths-based approach to case work and person-centred engagement.
• Strong team-working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a collaborative approach to delivering service objectives.
• Strong time management skills, ability to manage a caseload of clients, work on own initiative, manage competing priorities and maintain high standards.

The Community Fundraising Lead will provide hands-on support and guidance to individuals and small volunteer groups across multiple regions, many of whom have championed the Charity for decades. You'll honour their values while ensuring the Charity's updated mission and messages are communicated clearly and consistently. Working with Marketing and Income Generation, you'll collaborate on projects, develop leads, and maximise fundraising activities with a strong focus on retention and long-term engagement.

Education Workers are based at one of our IntoUniversity learning centres and work directly with young people, schools and families on a daily basis. It is therefore not a hybrid role and is based full-time in our centres.

The role requires intermittent travel in your region (usually within the day) this can involve journeys times of 1 hour+. Occasional travel out of your local area e.g. to London is also required, this may include overnight stays.

What could my day look like?

The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.

In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.

As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort.

About the role  

The Programme Officer (PO) will support the delivery of the Society’s Researcher Development Programme, which is already an important feature of Wales’ research landscape.

The PO will report to the Programme Manager (PM), and will work with the rest of our friendly, committed staff team to help ensure the programme continues to benefit researchers at different career stages, inside academia and across different sectors.

The PO will deliver a variety of activities. Their primary responsibility will be running the Early Career Researchers (ECRs) Network. This includes organising events and networking opportunities for ECRs, working with ECRs to ensure this work is relevant to their needs, as well as supporting the PM in developing the overall strategy for the Society’s ECR support and updating the ECR Network membership. The PO will support initiatives tailored for Mid-Career Researchers (MCRs) and assist with the review panels for the LSW Grants. This exciting role will develop and lead our policy and public affairs work in Wales at a pivotal moment in Welsh policy and politics. Working independently and with colleagues across the UK, this role will build and maintain key policy relationships with the Senedd and across the mental health sector in Wales and develop campaigns to drive better understanding and action on public mental health in Wales.

Job Purpose

Join our dedicated Data & Technology department at Operation Smile UK and play a vital role in advancing our digital capabilities. Our website is central to reaching a broad audience with our vital work, and you'll be pivotal in ensuring our online presence is robust, accessible, and effective.

This full-stack role provides an excellent opportunity to lead and contribute across both front-end and back-end development activities. You'll collaborate closely with the Director of Data & Technology and Senior Database Manager to design and build systems that empower our Fundraising and Comms teams, delivering outstanding user experiences.

We aim to build greater in-house capacity for digital development, reducing reliance on external support for routine tasks and increasing automation on key platforms. If you are a hands-on technical lead with experience across various digital channels such as website CMS (e.g., WordPress), along with a solid understanding of front-end and back-end languages and technologies, you'll be a great fit. You will also play a leading role in ensuring the OSUK website user interface and user experience is fit for purpose.

As part of our small but ambitious team, you'll be an integral part of creating and implementing our Data and Digital strategy, directly helping us achieve our goal of supporting more children born with a cleft lip and cleft palate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead in-house web development, initiating a cultural shift to minimise reliance on external agencies for website and platform creation.
• Play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's data and digital strategy.
• Serve as the technical product owner for all of OSUK's websites, digital & email platforms.
• Take full ownership of the Gravity Forms to Donorfy Custom API integration.
• Flare for producing modern, stylish and accessible designs, to support campaigns, general website conversion performance and brand.
• Manage relationships with external website agencies and freelancers for key infrastructure and major projects.
• Possess a strong understanding of frontend and backend web technologies

Please note that this role can be offered on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of three days per week in the office. Knights Youth Centre (KYC) was established in 1936 as an independent Christian Charity. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Team Lead to run our Senior Group Session (ages14-18) at Oasis@Knights. This is an opportunity to run engaging and informative activities for young people aged 14-18 in the Lambeth area, inspiring them to reach their potential and to make a real difference to their community. The successful candidate will be responsible for running these sessions weekly, managing session staff, delivering engaging activities, attending occasional day trips, as well as responding to and reporting any safeguarding concerns. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

1. To lead the delivery of youth sessions at Knights Youth Centre (KYC) and facilitate youth provision in line with the ethos, values and vision of Oasis. 

1. To work and engage with young people (aged 14-18), by delivering planned sessions, activities and occasional trips.   

1. Deliver informal education opportunities and small group mentoring within the identified sessions and the wider community. 
2. To manage and coordinate KYC staff members whilst leading sessions.

1. Record all activity on our data management system. 

1. Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people you come into contact with. 

1. Actively engage in the learning and professional development courses provided as part of this employment.

The successful post holder must have:

· Proven experience in leading youth work provision for young people aged 14-18.

· Experience of managing staff in a youth provision setting.

· An understanding of the challenges impacting young people in Lambeth – in particular education, employment, mental health and criminal exploitation.

· Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.

· Knowledge of safeguarding practices and experience working with young people in challenging environments.

Role Purpose
This is a key role to oversee RDA UK’s approach to safeguarding, supporting senior management and working with external partners. This is crucial to maintain good practice, resources, quality and support to RDA Groups which includes driving RDA safeguarding training.
In addition, this role will include support and administration for the Membership Services Team, as detailed below

Specific Responsibilities
1. To ensure RDA UK has effective safeguarding practices:

• develop and deliver the action plan and ongoing objectives from the British Equestrian Federation (BEF) audit/ Framework Plan and RDA Safeguarding Action Plan

• continuous review of all safeguarding materials and resources, to ensure RDA UK’s Safeguarding policy and statutory obligations and expectations are met, including relevant actions following BEF Safeguarding Action Team (SAT) meetings

• manage requests for guidance from the RDA UK network, including concerns raised and reporting

• provide safeguarding case management, collaborating with the Membership Services Manager.

• work in collaboration with the RDA UK Designated Safeguarding Lead and other relevant RDA UK staff and volunteers to plan, deliver and review projects that improve outcomes for children and adults at risk, within the RDA UK network

• provide advice to the RDA UK team and working groups on safeguarding best practice, policies and requirements, including specific projects or events

• deal promptly with enquiries from RDA Groups concerning policies, procedures and training requirements and respond to feedback received

• maintain the safeguarding content on the ‘MyRDA’ website, ensuring it is current, clear and relevant

• provide guidance to RDA Groups signposting them to resources for disclosure checks

• develop and maintain safeguarding training materials, and coordinate the delivery of regular accredited courses and workshops (both tutor led and e-learning), in conjunction with RDA UK Trainers and relevant external bodies

• developing, maintaining and administering Safeguarding courses and materials

• support the Designated Safeguarding Lead to compile reports for the RDA UK Board, including case management data and analysis, updates and recommendations

• act as the Safeguarding Officer at the RDA National Training Centre, the RDA National Championships and other key events

2. To provide administrative support to the Membership Services Team as required.

General
a) To undertake such other duties as the line manager shall from time to time determine

b) To be flexible in working from other offices in the UK as required for the effective delivery of the role
