As Operations and Finance Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping PORe’s future, ensuring our long-term sustainability, and driving impactful organisational development. You will work closely with the Director & CEO to enhance our operations, administration, and financial management while leading a small team to support the delivery of our Business Plan. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape strategic business processes, support PORe’s artistic programming, and play an integral role in our fundraising efforts. You’ll be looking after a small team, and the administrative, and financial aspects of the organisation. You’ll also be inputting into funding bids, helping with data collection, and coming up with creative income generating opportunities to help us grow. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Director & CEO in strategic, financial, and organisational development.
• Play a senior management role, overseeing operations, administration, financial processes, and governance.
• Manage and support a small team to effectively deliver PORe’s Business Plan.
• Ensure efficient business activities, including HR and data collection processes.
• Oversee financial management, including budget control, reporting, and compliance.
• Support delivery of public programming and contribute to project development.
• Collaborate on fundraising initiatives, including bid writing.
• Represent PORe in meetings with funders, stakeholders, and key partners.

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Membership Events team as Membership Events Officer.

Part of a hard working, fantastic team, this role will see you delivering, supporting and coordinating RBL Membership Directorates busy catalogues of events. This includes Annual Conference, County Chair Seminars, Awaydays, Meet-ups and meetings.

As the nations largest Armed Forces charity, RBL has over 200,000 members. Our Membership exists so our Armed Forces family has friends and allies standing by them in every community. This role will see you working within our Membership Policy and Compliance team supporting on a range of high profile events across the year.

Reporting to the Membership Events Manager, key responsibilities will include:

- Lead and manage workstreams for organisation of Annual Conference, including chairing Working Group meetings, coordinating exhibitions, managing registration, accommodation and catering bookings, venue sourcing, IT and AV requirements and more
- Work alongside Membership Services, Communications and Compliance teams, as well as Brand, to collaborate cohesively on events
- Create and distribute registration forms for all events and manage responses and attendee requirements
- Liaise with venue staff, raise relevant payments, negotiate prices and conditions, and finalise event agreements according to changing requirements
- Use appropriate and effective event planning tools to manage workload, deadlines and reporting

You will bring with you experience in events planning and management and strong administrative and minute taking experience. You will be confident using various systems including Microsoft Office and databases and will be an exceptional communicator with groups and stakeholders at all levels.

You will be contracted to our London, Haig House, Hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the Hub (one of which must be a Wednesday) and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site.

To support the communications team in raising the profile of Day One, primarily on social media and with a focus on short-form video content.

The post holder’s primary duties and responsibilities are as follows: 

• Lead the day-to-day management of Day One's social networks

• Work closely with Day One’s Services Team to identify patient stories which demonstrate the charity’s impact

What we’ll need from you

This job is all about supporting the communications team in raising the profile of Day One, primarily on social media and with a focus on short-form video content. You’ll need to be a great communicator and creative thinker with a passion for making great digital content. You will work closely with our service users, volunteers and staff to make compelling content for social media in both written and video form. You will need to be creative, proactive, empathetic and adaptable. Working closely with our fundraising and communications team, you’ll ensure people remain at the heart of our work by telling powerful stories that resonate with our audiences and effectively communicate the impact of major trauma and the support Day One provides. As we are a small organisation, you will need to be ready to support the wider team with fundraising and service delivery projects.

Who you’ll be working with

You’ll work as a key member of our friendly, experienced and enthusiastic communications and fundraising team. We're a small, hard-working team with big ambitions, but we still make the time to support each other. You’ll be line-managed by me (Digital Communications Officer), and work alongside our Communications Manager Dave and Marketing and Communications Officer Harriet. You’ll be supported by our Fundraising and Communications Director, a supportive SLT and board of trustees, and work alongside six fantastic fundraising colleagues. This position is new for the charity, so there is lots of scope for you to carve out the role and make it your own. We’ll support you, so together we can become the charity that communication professionals want to work for: because of the impact we have on the lives of major trauma patients and their families, our inclusive culture, professional development opportunities and exceptional communications.

About Women in Prison

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. We also campaign for systems change that addresses the root causes of offending, reduces the harmful impact of prison, and creates workable, community-based alternatives to imprisonment.
 

Job Purpose:

The Diversion Project Worker will engage with women referred through both formal and informal Liaison & Diversion (L&D) routes. Formal routes include police, courts, and other legal channels, while informal routes will focus on identifying women at greatest risk of offending. This role is designed to offer early intervention, providing structured, person-centred, and goal-focused support to provide 1:1 support, to help meet women’s immediate needs and to support them to prepare for a brighter future. From signposting and working in partnership with other grassroots organisations, to delivering group workshops and 1:1 support on topics such as mental health and wellbeing, domestic abuse, training and skills development, finance, debt and benefits.
 

Key Responsibility Areas

1. Provide high-quality, trauma-responsive support to women in contact with, or at risk of contact with the criminal justice system.
2. Monitor case management systems to ensure accurate and timely data recording, aligning with contract KPIs and WIP policies.

Trust fundraising at Battersea has grown significantly over the past few years, from £1m in 2022 to £2.75m in 2025. Working closely with the Trusts Officer and Trusts Lead, you will secure vital funding from Trusts and Foundations to support the welfare of dogs and cats across the UK and internationally.

As the Trusts Manager, you will manage your own portfolio of five-figure Trust donors and take ownership of relationships to secure funding from both existing and new supporters. You will also support the Trusts Officer to deliver bi-annual Small Trusts Mailings and the Trusts Lead to deliver significant partnerships.

You will be proactive and motivated, with a passion for animal welfare and an aptitude for building relationships. You are a strong communicator with excellent writing skills which will enable you - with support from the team - to craft compelling funding proposals that resonate with donors.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic team administrator to join our small, friendly and relaxed team at SCONUL, the professional association for academic and research libraries. The team currently works one to two days a week from our modern offices close to Euston station and the remainder of the week from home. 

You will be responsible for providing administrative support across all aspects of the organisation’s work, including diary management, the organisation of meetings and supporting the delivery of the SCONUL Access Scheme. It’s a role that provides scope for autonomy and to become involved in the full range of the organisation’s work and to develop a broad set of skills.

We are looking with someone with relevant office or administration experience who is well organised and with strong communication and IT skills. The role would suit someone who is self-motivated, flexible and happy to take the initiative.

Job description

Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with the Project Manager and SCONUL Co-ordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Organising the schedule of meetings for the SCONUL Board and SCONUL working Groups.
• Managing the diary of the Executive Director.
• Supporting the delivery of the SCONUL Access Scheme including:
  • answering routine queries from Access Scheme users, applicants and university administrators
  • providing SCONUL Access contacts with timely and relevant information about the scheme
  • providing routine technical support to applicants and university contacts responsible for processing applications and refer potentially more complex or disruptive technical problems
  • drafting changes to website content to reflect the scheme’s current practice and procedures.
• Supporting the delivery of SCONUL events including:
  • drafting and following up invitations to speakers and other participants with support from the Project Manager
  • managing and processing events registrations
  • booking accommodation and travel arrangements when required
  • production of event documentation
  • helping to manage events on site, including briefing and managing colleagues, volunteers, and external suppliers, supporting, advising and directing event participants.
• Processing invoices and other office paperwork.
• Answering general queries from members and students phoned into the office.
• Uploading content onto the SCONUL website and helping keep the content up to date.

Skills and experience required

We’re looking for two Place Leads to help drive our work in Stoke-on-Trent and East Staffordshire. Each role will be rooted in its local area, but both will work across the whole county, helping us build more connected, inclusive systems that support people to be active in ways that matter to them.

This work is part of a wider investment from Sport England, focused on changing how systems support people to be active. That means shaping how physical activity is understood, prioritised, and embedded, not just in programmes, but in policies, partnerships, and everyday decisions. That includes health, local government, community development, and beyond.

You’ll work with partners, communities, and decision-makers to make sense of what’s already happening, spot where things are stuck, and help shift both the culture and the practice. The work will be messy, layered, and relational. Some days will be about strategy. Others will be about trust.
