Events Officer has the responisbility of organising (along with the help of a Trustee Events Manager) our magical visits to children/adults with LD, this could be at the hospital, social groups, refugee centres, libraries etc etc.

They will monitor the chapter email for submitted event booking forms (some of these will come from events organised by the Events Manager on Trustees). These will then be added to the calendar and advertised to volunteers. They will ensure each event organised has a handful of volunteers confirmed within a week of the event itself. They will then provide information and support to a Lead Volunteer to run the events. They will ensure that regular events are being attended by volunteers and that they have the costume and materials that are needed for these. They will follow up after events to ensure social media posts are made, hours are uploaded and that costumes are returned. They will ensure that all volunteers are attending events.

Trustees hold collective responsibility for overseeing the charity’s strategy and purpose and the delivery of its work in compliant and accountable way. We are seeking new trustees who

- share the values and mission of Women at The Well;

- have the ability and confidence to listen, question, deliberate, and plan, collectively and collaboratively;

- are willing to learn about, or have experience with, the work of a small charity trustee board;

- are willing to play an active role in the board’s collective responsibilities and offer or develop skills in an area the board may need (e.g. social work, fundraising and development, GDPR, charity law).

We are looking for a new Treasurer among the small set of Trustees we hope to appoint this year, and hope this person will have professional finance experience. There is a full description of the General and Treasurer Trustee roles in the ‘Join our board’ section of our website.

Trustees attend board meetings in London (up to five main meetings per year, reasonable travel expenses paid; plus subcommittee meetings which take place online).

We are keen to welcome those local to our Kings Cross based service who can help us make more local connections.

This is flexible, outcomes-focussed role, where your knowledge and experience can support a wide range of charitable activities that essentially seek to protect, enhance and promoting green space and its benefits to London and Londoners. 

We have campaigns and projects relating to climate change mitigation, parks and green spaces, conservation and wildlife, tree planting, housing, transport, parking, clean rivers and the London Tree Ring  with a focus on bid writing and grant applications.

There are opportunities to work strategically, generating future funding for the charity as a whole, as well as rolling up your sleeves and getting involved with more specific activities and events. The remit of the role includes liaising with specialist colleagues and coordinating grant fundraising including researching prospects, evaluating opportunities, supporting applications, bid writing and submitting applications.

About CPRE London

As part of the national network of CPRE, the Countryside Charity, CPRE London campaigns to save and promote green spaces in Greater London. Our vision is "a city with a network of green spaces which are accessible to all, rich in nature and playing a crucial role in responding to the climate emergency."

What will you be doing?

• Researching potential future sources of support including trusts and institutional funders
• Tailoring and submitting applications to grant providers
• Assisting with producing project progress reports with a level of detail suited to the funder
• Involving with other income streams, including digital fundraising, sponsored events (focused on promoting climate-friendly actions) and establishing more sustainable funding through regular giving from individuals
• Collaborate with our team to coordinate fundraising activities

What are we looking for?

Barefoot and Free is a small UK-based charity that gifts unforgettable staycations to families with neurodivergent children or children affected by trauma.

We are seeking creative and committed Volunteer Fundraisers to help us grow our small charity.

This is a remote volunteer role ideal for someone looking to use their creative fundraising knowledge to make a meaningful impact.

Role Overview
As a Volunteer Fundraiser at Barefoot and Free, you will be reuired to come up with fun ideas to fundraise, be able to engage people to fundraise and encourage new supporters.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and execute virtual and in-person fundraising events (eg raffles, quizzes, sponsored challenges)
• Liase with fundraisng volunteers (eg sponsored runners etc)
• Ensure events run smoothly by preparing, schedules, materials and plans. 
• Act as a main point of contact for invividual fundraisers and teams
• Regukar communication to offer encouragement and guidence.
• Procatively check they have everything they need (eg fundraisng pack, marketing materials) 
• Create.design a central fundraising tracker (eg excel or similar) 
• Log all fundraising activities, targets, deadlines ad progress updates 
• Collaborate with the social media volunteers (if applicable) to amplify campaigns
• Support the recruitment of new fundraising volunteers
