JOB PURPOSE

Demonstrating ParalympicsGB’s core values at all times, the Games Services Manager has responsibility for the design and delivery of key elements of ParalympicsGB’s Games Services Strategy and specific Games-related services and support whose outcomes will contribute positively to the fulfilment of ParalympicsGB’s vision, mission and objectives through: 

1. Working closely with the Head of Sport, exemplary management of identified areas of ParalympicsGB’s Games Services strategy and associated programmes, people and partnerships 

2. Excellence in delivery of identified core services including qualification and selection processes, accrediting the team, entering the team and managing team data  

3. Provision of world class advice and support to all Paralympic sports which contributes positively to a best prepared team at each Paralympic Games 

4. Provision of other input and support as a member of  ParalympicsGB’s  team support in the creation and delivery of an optimal Games-time environments

Games-time Role(s) All Games-time roles will be discussed and agreed for each Paralympic Games and will be dependent upon structure and delivery requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IN DETAIL: 

Sport Directorate 

To support the on-going management of a cohesive and collaborative Sport Team environment which proactively embraces cross directorate / partnership working, additionally to: 

• Project management of ParalympicsGB’s Games Services Strategy within the Sport Directorate
• Provide regular updates to the Head of Sport regarding the implementation of the ParalympicsGB’s Games Services Strategy; identifying and communicating potential and actual risks in a timely manner 
• Proactively identify and develop key strategic performance partnerships both within the UK and overseas to support delivery of organisational objectives 
• Deputise for the Head of Sport in his / her absence at key meetings and activities on an agreed basis 
• Support to the Director of Sport and Head of Sport in delivering identified organisational objectives

Games Services Strategy 

Responsible for the management and effective delivery of identified elements of ParalympicsGB’s Games Services Strategy including: 

• Management of team data and the development of ParalympicsGB Base, including budget management. 
• Management of team qualification including performance and qualification tracking and reporting.
• Management of selecting the team including support to all Paralympic sports with selection policies and processes.
• Management of accrediting the team for the ParalympicsGB delegation, including collaboration with Games Operations in updating the Delegation Overview. 
• Management of entering the team including sport entries and liaison with National Governing Bodies and the Organising Committee.
• Management of the Qualification and Selection Panel. 

Team Development Strategy:

Provide support to the Director of Sport and the Head of Athlete Services for the following aspects of ParalympicsGB’s team development strategy:  

• Support the design of the ParalympicsGB team development strategy and lead on elements of programme delivery 
• Support the ParalympicsGB team Games recruitment project
• Lead the planning group for Team Development Programmes, including event and budget management 
• Lead the Team Member’s Agreement Working Group, including collaborative work with our legal partners. 
• Support delivery of the Team Leader Journey including workshops and induction programmes.

Miscellaneous: 

• To work collaboratively with Paralympic sports, UK Sport, Home Country Sports Institutes, British Olympic Association and other partners to ensure coherence in positioning, approach and impact of the Games Services Strategy and Games-specific services and support
• To ensure effective processes of monitoring, evaluation and quality control, and the observation of key performance indicators across all responsibility areas 
• To support colleagues within ParalympicsGB across all areas of the Championing Change strategy, as reasonably required by the Director of Sport 
• To attend all meetings, workshops and seminars, whether internal or external, regional, national or overseas, which are reasonably deemed to be relevant to the fulfilment of the demands and responsibilities of the role

About You  

Do you want to lead the field in the development of private investment into nature’s recovery? 

Fundamentally, you will have worked at a senior level as a Managing Director/CEO and have financial investment and commercial leadership experience that translates into strong awareness and understanding of financial investment markets and how these financial mechanisms can be used to drive large-scale investment, in this case into a green finance vehicle(s) for the Wildlife Trusts. We need you to translate that experience into solutions that scale up nature’s recovery, by developing realisable business propositions that create revenues from corporate sales of nature-based services such as biodiversity net gain credits or voluntary carbon credits amongst many other possible services. 

An innovative problem-solver with an entrepreneurial spirit, you will need to develop compelling and practical commercial strategies which can be successfully delivered within the Wildlife Trust Federation. Job summary

The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) is a charity that supports members who work in, or are interested in, tropical medicine and global health.

In September 2028 it is hosting the International Congress for Tropical Medicine and Malaria (ICTMM) on behalf of the International Federation for Tropical Medicine (IFTM), in Liverpool, UK.

ICTMM 2028 expects to receive over 1,500 attendees, hopefully with over 40% coming from outside of Europe. It is an educational meeting with a high proportion of the content driven by abstracts. The event is being delivered by RSTMH with the support of a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO).

The ICTMM Events Manager has responsibility for coordinating the development and delivery of ICTMM 2028 at RSTMH, working with the RSTMH team, the PCO, the event venue ACC Liverpool, IFTM, and other suppliers.  The individual would be based at RSTMH where the role would start on a part-time basis and move to be full-time 17 months before the event.

The role requires an able self-starter who understand the logistics and considerations of running a scientific, abstract-driven event of 1,500+ attendees, of working with a PCO and of educational events attended by a high number of international guests.  There will be some travel to Liverpool and the role would require some overnight stays there before and during the event.

The candidate needs to have excellent event management and project management skills, communication and relationship building skills, and to be organised and flexible with a great attention to detail.  They should be as comfortable developing an events strategy, as answering queries about tickets sales, and negotiating sponsorship. Alongside delivering the ICTMM meeting there are opportunities for partners to deliver events at the same venue, which are also the responsibility of the events manager.

The role will start as one day per week and then move to be full time as we approach the event. The current expected timings are

• Up until 31 March 2026 – 7 hours/1 day per week
• 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 – 21 hours/3 days per week
• 1 April 2027 to 30 September 2028 – 35 hours/ 5 days per week

Up to 1 April 2027 the role is purely office based, and there is flexibility to work the hours between Tuesday and Friday (not Mondays). The role has core hours of 10am-4pm so the working day needs to be within these hours.

The role may require work in the evenings or weekends and potential time staying in Liverpool.

Main responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive project plan for all aspects of ICTMM 2028, working with the PCO, and be responsible for ensuring all stakeholders meet deadlines leading up to the event
• Coordinate stakeholders working on ICTMM 2028, ensuring all are up to date with progress and relations run smoothly – including RSTMH, PCO, conference venue, IFTM, ICTMM Strategic, Sponsorship and Scientific Committees and other third parties
• Work with RSTMH CEO to recruit Committee Chairs and members, develop a long list of partners and sponsors for funding and support, and develop legal agreements for these
• Develop and disseminate accurate and timely content about ICTMM through a dedicated website, a dedicated newsletter and other marketing materials, which is high quality, and accessible
• Work with the RSTMH CEO and PCO to deliver sponsorship and other financial support for the event
• Help coordinate meetings of the ICTMM Committees where needed
• Assist the PCO with activities to maximise attendance to the event
• Help deliver travel and accommodation, plus assist with visas for speakers and sponsored attendees
• Oversight and responsibility for the budget, and re-forecasting of income and expenditure for the event
• Work with the PCO on the logistics of the event management e.g. exhibition space and registration
• Assist RSTMH and the Scientific Committee to secure plenary speakers, assisting with logistics
• Establish and manage a system to monitor and evaluate progress towards ICTMM 2028
• Manage all ICTMM event enquiries that come through to RSTMH and forward to the relevant team
• Develop systems and processes to ensure we capture all data from ICTMM into our CRM

About the role

As a Children’s Residential Worker, you will directly look after children and young people who have complex emotional and mental health needs due to trauma, loss and other adverse experiences.

You will be required to support children to regulate and understand their emotions. Working within a therapeutic framework, you will develop a direct programme of work aimed at developing authentic relationships with our children and young people (aged 12 – 17 years old on admission to the Children’s Home).

You will have a key role in making sure our children are safe and happy. You will also be required to work collaboratively with key professionals to ensure that information is recorded and shared appropriately, as well as to enable children to receive the multi-agency support that they require.

About the role:

The British Museum is embarking on one of the most significant cultural redevelopment projects undertaken anywhere in the world. The Masterplan will transform the Museum for the 21st century while staying open, maintaining the founding commitment to keep the collection safe and accessible to the public for generations to come.

The Philanthropy Team, as a key function of Development, will play a vital role in enabling the Museum's vision for the future. The Philanthropy Officer: Grants role will be responsible for managing relationships with and securing income from primarily trusts and foundations in support of the Museum's agreed priorities.

Key areas of responsibility:

• To raise funds for Museum priorities in line with agreed annual income targets, managing your own prospect pipeline, with mentoring and support from the Philanthropy Manager.
• To adhere to a calendar of both new applications and reporting requirements for secured funding.
• To manage or contribute to production of both interim and final reports for funders, establishing a system with project managers internally to ensure that the data required is captured throughout and submitted in time for deadlines, and to ensure the highest standards of reporting are adhered to.
• To work with the Advancement Operations Team to ensure records on the Museum's database are accurate and up to date.
• To contribute to Museum events and their use as an effective cultivation tool.

About you:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in a trust fundraising role
• Knowledge of trust and statutory fundraising requirements and practice
• IT literate with good working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office packages and experience using fundraising databases
• Strong writing skills with the ability to create and articulate a convincing fundraising case.
• A team player with strong organisational skills
• Experience in an arts, culture or heritage organization is desirable

As an Income and Housing Officer you will help to maximise the organisation's rental income collection,n effectively manage rent arrears and deal with other breaches of the occupancy agreement.

What you'll do:
* Take responsibility for maximising rent collection across a defined patch of Look Ahead's portfolio of properties ensuring that rent collection targets are met and tenancies sustained

* Advise operational teams on their support related arrears management activities, including holding local surgeries with tenants and staff, taking direct control of higher level and more complex arrears cases

* Proactively monitor all current and former accounts within the defined patch and make recommendations to the Housing Manager for appropriate former accounts to be written off or referred to Look Ahead's debt collection agency

* Ensure that the rent collection function is carried out both sensitively and in a timely fashion so as to avoid the build up of excessive arrears and record all case details accurately.

* Ensure that all sign ups within the defined patch are done accurately on the correct type of tenancy and at the correct rent and service charge levels.

* Prepare files and documents for legal action and present cases in County Court hearings for possession claims, money judgements

? An understanding of the needs of customers who have experienced homelessness and who may also have support needs.
? Excellent time management skills to systematically monitor arrears and complete other tasks in a logical and systematic way.

? An understanding of how to effectively deal with breaches of occupancy such as anti-social behaviour and abandonment. .
? The ability to communicate clearly with non -housing management staff and explain cases in a non technical way.

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Supporting the Fundraising Events Manager with all aspects of event delivery, including logistics, supplier coordination, volunteer support, and on-the-day event assistance 

• Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships team to ensure corporate partners are thoughtfully stewarded, have meaningful volunteering opportunities and are effectively engaged with our cause. 

• Liaising with external event committees and sponsors to support smooth communication, collaboration, and alignment 

• Assisting in the creation of engaging event materials to promote our cause and ensure key audiences attend our events

• Managing the events inbox, responding to all queries promptly and professionally

• Supporting financial tracking by helping to monitor event income and expenditure 

• Maintaining accurate records by updating the CRM and event databases regularly

Energy Action Redhill and Reigate (EARR) is dedicated to improving home energy efficiency across East Surrey.  We work to improve the sustainability of homes, as well as making them healthier to live in and more economical to run.

We are seeking an organised and self-motivated Project Coordinator to join our Home Energy Advice Team.  You will play a key role in co-ordinating a programme of home energy surveys, distribution of energy efficiency materials and helping to deliver a series of events.  The post is funded through an Energy Redress grant and is part of the Surrey-wide HEAT programme, working in partnership with other voluntary organisations across Surrey.

As Project Coordinator you will play a key role in

• scheduling home energy surveys and follow up support
• liaising with residents, volunteers, and local partners
• planning and promoting community events
• monitoring and reporting on project progress and impact

Location: The role is home based; however, travel across Reigate & Banstead and Tandridge will be required to support events and home surveys.

Hours: 736 hours per year (average 16 hours per week over 46 weeks - you can manage the hours worked to suit yourself and the project.  Demand for the survey service is seasonal and it is anticipated more hours will be needed over the Winter months, with fewer hours in the Summer. 

Dates: Start from 23 September 2025 or earliest available date following this. This is a fixed-term contract until 30 April 2027

Salary: £25 per hour (3% uplift from May 2026)  Please note this role to be undertaken on a self-employed consultancy basis.

The Service Manager will be responsible for the operations of a group of three specialist services, which support a total of seven customers with moderate to high support needs to live in their own homes. The post holder will be based from home, with a requirement to travel to schools and partner sites within Oxfordshire and Wiltshire (predominantly between Brize Norton and Salisbury). Fuel expenses are paid, and travel time is included as part of your working hours. Core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school term time only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that meetings with partners and colleagues, plus administrative tasks, are completed as required. You will be expected to work at least four days a week.

-Delivering KPIs related to people, culture, equity and wellbeing using evidence and analytics to drive continuous improvement
-Ensuring legal compliance and excellence across all People operations, including recruitment, employee relations, and reward management
-Working in partnership with the union on strategic organisational change and development

About You

To be considered as our Director of People, you will need:

-Demonstrable senior level HR leadership experience with outstanding leadership, coaching and relationship building capabilities
-A strong track record of delivering inclusive and values-led HR practices
-Proven experience leading and embedding wellbeing and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
-Experience supporting and embedding cultural and behavioural change within complex, ideally international, organisations
-In depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices, ideally combined with knowledge of international legislative frameworks
-Successful experience of translating strategy into practice, led by people-centred design and grounded in the experience of diverse stakeholders
-A sound understanding of HR Information Systems and the use of people data/analytics
