The Finance & Office Executive will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and effective administration of the charity. Working closely with the CEO and Head of Finance & Operations, the postholder will provide financial assistance, manage the office, and undertake the administrative functions required to support the smooth running of the charity.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems and people. You’ll play a key role in supporting and delivering the charity’s financial and operational strategy and enabling the Trustees to fulfil their legal and fiduciary obligations. You will ensure that our finance processes and office run smoothly, including diary management, and that key governance and HR processes and procedures comply with law and with our policies.

This is an exciting role leading our committed policy team leading the fight to end child poverty in the UK. The development and implementation of a UK-wide cross-government child poverty strategy means this is a great time to join CPAG as we look to influence policy makers to adopt our evidence-based policy solutions to child poverty.

We are looking for someone to take a lead role in developing evidence-based policy positions to support CPAG’s influencing and campaigns work. You will have knowledge of political processes and how external organisations can effect change. You will have a track record of producing high quality research and analysis, including policy briefings, on social policy issues. You will have experience of managing a small team and working collaboratively to identify policy issues and develop solutions with colleagues across the organisation, as well as externally.

The postholder will be working in a fast moving, high profile and complex policy environment and will need to balance short term priorities with long term objectives. Current priorities include influencing the implementation of the forthcoming child poverty strategy, gathering and sharing analysis and expertise with the DWP as part of their review of universal credit, and monitoring the development of forthcoming changes to disability benefits.

The Senior Evidence & Evaluation Manager sits within the Impact & Evidence directorate at the heart of Youth Futures Foundation.

You will play a central role in building the evidence base on what works to support young people into good jobs.

Working with three Heads of Evaluation, the Deputy Director and the Director, you will help ensure our evaluations are designed to generate credible evidence of what works.

• You will work closely with independent evaluators and delivery partners and colleagues in our Programmes & Grants and Policy & Communications directorates, you will assess the evaluability of interventions, and lead the design and delivery of large-scale, complex impact evaluations.
• You will manage a portfolio of projects, leading some directly, and overseeing others while supporting more junior colleagues.
• You will also contribute to strengthening our ‘evaluation architecture’, leading projects that enhance data infrastructure and access to administrative datasets, and set standards for methodological rigour in the sector.

This role can be based at our Birmingham, Leeds or London hub. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure the College meets its legal and regulatory compliance requirements as an educational establishment and a charity.  The focus of the role is to be responsible, with the support of the Training Administration team, for all reporting to regulatory bodies in a timely manner to ensure the College meets the requirements of the Office for Students (OfS), The Open University (OU), Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI), UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA) and other regulatory bodies. The postholder will also take on the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) within the organisation and ensure that the college processes all personal data in compliance with UK data protection legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for reporting internal information and meeting the reporting requirements of regulatory organisations – primarily the Office for Students (OfS), Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), the Open University (OU), the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI), Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA) and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). This will be with the support of the Training Administration team and all other teams within the college.
• Collaborate with senior management and other department heads to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance relating to HR, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Prevent, Communications and Finance.
• Serve as the point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors
• Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies and senior management as needed and within required deadlines
• Use external student data systems – such as HESA / Salesforce
• Perform research to remain informed regarding higher educational and other compliance requirements  
• Monitor the College’s compliance and internal policies to ensure they are up to date with relevant legislation, and draft new policies when required.
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and help the organisation understand compliance risk and scope
• Record findings accurately and follow up with senior management to ensure that issues are rectified 
• Conduct investigations to discover the root cause of compliance problems when they arise 
• Develop systems for data collection, tracking, managing and reporting

• As DPO, ensure all personal data and sensitive information is handled within the College according to UK GDPR guidelines
• Draft new and amend existing data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures, in consultation with key stakeholders
• Serve as the main point of contact within the organisation for staff members, regulators, and relevant authorities on issues related to data protection, and provide advice as required.
• Maintain records of all data processing activities within the College
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance and to address potential issues
• Train and advise all staff on compliance and GDPR regulations, how to meet, maintain and improve compliance requirements and the impact of non-compliance on the College. 
• Review College external communication, marketing materials, websites and presentations to ensure compliance with regulations

The Role 

We are currently looking for a Retail Van Driver to join our Retail, Services and Operations team.

Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be part of the team responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the donation centre and warehouse. The primary focus of this role is to deliver stock to our retail shops across Yorkshire in a timely manner. However, at busy times you will also be required to assist with general maintenance tasks and supporting with the removal of general waste through the appropriate channels whilst working in compliance with all relevant Health and Safety legislation and our Driving for Work policy. 

Specifically, you will: 

• Carry out deliveries of donated stock to shops ensuring that the shops receive the stock that they have requested from the Donation Centre. 

• Complete collections of furniture and goods across Yorkshire, including the disposal of waste materials, as directed. 

• Assist with the moving of furniture and other goods between shops and the Donation Centre. There will also be a requirement to collect goods from donors. 

• Be responsible for day-to-day vehicle maintenance, including completion of the weekly vehicle maintenance checklist and daily visual checks. 

• Ensure charity vehicles are left secure, clean and presentable at the end of the day and ensure any vehicle defects and damage promptly are reported in accordance with charity procedures. 

• Be an ambassador for the charity whilst driving branded vehicles, ensuring that you drive carefully and mindfully of other road users. 

• Create a positive, professional, warm welcome for all visitors. 

• Seek opportunities to actively engage with visitors to enhance their visit and further promote the profile of the charity. 

• Be responsible for conducting an initial assessment of the quality of goods collected, including furniture which will include declining donations that are unsuitable for sale and may contravene the Sales of Goods Act 1979. 

• Be knowledgeable about, and an ambassador for the charity so that you are able to answer questions and answer any queries. 

• Promptly report any accidents, incidents or unsafe occurrences to the Facilities Manager via the charity reporting procedure.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. • EnsuringTender’s projects implement Tender’s Theory of Change and evaluation processes, and ensure learnings from evaluations are used to improve Tender’s work
• Analysing Tender’s evaluation results and carrying out secondary research to produce reports and guidance on best practice approaches to preventing domestic abuse and sexual violence

The Grants and Foundations Manager position is ideal for someone with previous experience of income generation and a proven success in securing funding from trusts and grant making bodies. You will work closely with senior and service managers, to research new funding opportunities, building and sustaining strong relationships with new and existing funders. You will prepare grant applications and maintain a comprehensive database of funders, opportunities and grant applications, in addition to managing and evaluating bids to ensure optimal outcomes.

You will be highly organised with excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to produce clear, compelling and persuasive proposals. Additionally, you will have strong relationship building skills, with the ability to engage and grow income from a wide range of supporters.

A high level of computer literacy and IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM is essential.

About the role

As the Professional Standards Manager, you will play a central role in the effective operation of the Complaints and Conduct Process (CCP). You will oversee the day-to-day management of investigations, assessments and adjudications of concerns raised about our registered therapists, ensuring all cases are handled with integrity, fairness and procedural accuracy.

You will ensure service standards are met, maintain robust case management records, and support colleagues through legal complexities, subject access requests and regulatory reporting.

Working closely with the Professional Conduct Committee (PCC), you will provide case updates, contribute to root-cause analysis, support the development of the annual report and attend PCC meetings as an active participant. You will also support adjudication hearings, including acting as presenting officer for interim suspension hearings, and ensure outcomes are communicated clearly to all relevant parties.

This role offers both operational responsibility and strategic impact. You will contribute to regulatory development, policy work, and reaccreditation with the Professional Standards Authority, helping to uphold professional standards and safeguard the public.

You will bring experience of managing complex complaints in a professional body, regulated organisation or similar environment. Skilled at quickly interpreting detailed information, you are able to make sound, evidence-informed decisions while managing multiple priorities with care and structure.

We are currently entering a particularly exciting period of growth and expansion as we fundraise for a number of major projects.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic self-starter to support the Head of PR, Communications and Celebrity Engagement and work collaboratively with Charity and hospital colleagues to highlight the impact our supporters and fundraisers make to cancer patients.

You will be equally at home pitching a story to a national journalist, working with a senior consultant or scientist to draft a new Charity funded research story, briefing photographers, liaising with fundraisers to tell their story, writing newsletter and marketing copy or devising a communications plan.

The Charity team is responsible for raising millions of pounds each year to ensure Christie patients receive the very best care and treatment. This includes everything from access to world first clinical trials and receiving radiotherapy in state-of-the-art treatment centres, to young adults being cared for in a bespoke age-appropriate centre and being able to offer patients anxiety reducing complementary therapy, or even creative sessions in our art room.

About the role

The Impact and Learning Consultant will play a central role in advancing how the Vitol Foundation understands, measures and deepens its impact. They will build on existing frameworks, tools and processes developed by our Head of Impact, Learning and Strategy who is due to go on maternity leave, as well as bring their own expertise to further strengthen our approach to impact and learning, embedding it into our day-to-day decisions. As our lead expert in this area, the Consultant will ensure that our strategy and grantmaking are guided by emerging data and evidence, and support continuous learning across all our work.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the field of measurement and evaluation, combining strategic leadership experience with strong hands-on technical skills to support Foundation colleagues and nonprofit partners. They will have experience with a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research methods and working in global settings, especially to support local partners operating in low-resource and/or emergency environments. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights tailored to different audiences, including Vitol Foundation colleagues, our board and non-technical external stakeholders.

Above all, the candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to the vision, mission and values of the Vitol Foundation and improving people’s lives. They will report directly to our CEO and be part of a small but enthusiastic team of people committed to making a difference. The position is based at the Foundation’s office in London, United Kingdom.
 

Key responsibilities

Impact measurement and reporting

• Continue rollout of the foundation‑level impact framework across our grant portfolio, making ongoing adjustments and clarifications as it’s being road-tested with a growing number of grantees.
• Design and refine grant‑level impact measures. Develop impact indicators for new grants and review existing ones, working closely with programme managers and partners to ensure alignment with project goals, partner capacity and the foundation‑level impact framework.
• Review and strengthen data quality of incoming partner reports to ensure that progress is meaningfully captured through quantitative and qualitative indicators. Check for clarity, completeness, consistency and data quality, and provide feedback or make revisions as needed.
• Support uptake and adjustments to our impact dashboards in Salesforce to ensure clarity and usefulness for Foundation colleagues. Work with the Operations Manager and external developers to implement changes where needed.

Learning and strategy implementation

• Regularly synthesise and share lessons learned from across our grant portfolio as well as from the wider international development sector. Highlight emerging data, evidence and findings, and their implications for the Foundation’s strategy and grants.
• Conduct rapid evidence reviews to inform sector‑level strategies and individual grants as they are developed or revised. Work closely with programme leads and partners to ensure emerging evidence is reflected in design and implementation, and to identify ways to build credible evidence to strengthen the impact of our grants.
• Serve as a technical expert for externally-led evaluations of our grants, including reviewing research protocols, data collection tools, analysis plans, and consent and safeguarding processes. Note: evaluations will be commissioned by external parties, this role will not manage evaluation contracts or teams.

Internal and external communications

• Draw out insights from impact data, other programme documents and external sources to inform management and board reporting, including regular tracking of portfolio‑level outcomes, key trends and lessons learned.
• Work with the Head of Communications to draft content for internal and external audiences, using relevant data and statistics and creating compelling visualisations that reinforce key messages.
   

Qualifications

Essential

• Educational background: Advanced degree in a relevant field (for example, public policy, global development, business administration).
• Professional experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in impact measurement, strategic learning, or programme evaluation in philanthropy, non-profits or social impact sectors.
• Analytical rigour and insight: Demonstrated ability to synthesise complex data and strategic insights; proven record of shaping high-level organisational strategies.
• Facilitation and communication: Strong skills in facilitating discussions, presenting insights to senior leadership, and translating complex data into accessible, strategic information.
• Project management and adaptability: Track record of managing complex research and evaluation projects with multiple stakeholders; able to balance strategic oversight with hands-on problem solving.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Desirable

• Familiarity with using Salesforce as a grant management system.
• Experience working or living in one or more of our priority countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Haiti, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Myanmar, Pakistan, Senegal, Sudan, Syria and Tanzania.

Under the supervision of the European Regional Director, the Director of External Partnerships will oversee IFAW’s strategic partnerships development geared towards advancing IFAW’s efforts to protect and save the lives of animals.

He/she will strengthen IFAW’s profile in the United Kingdom by:

1. Partnerships strategy elaboration

· Design and update a comprehensive partnership strategy with external stakeholders in the UK market. In order to support IFAW’s mission and strategies, this Partnership Strategy shall cover the following types of partnership:

o Polical and institutional (public sector, national and decentralized authorities);

o Financial (private sector and institutional donors);

o Technical, programmatic and academic (non-governmental community, universities, research institutes).

· Work closely with cross-functional teams to align Partnership Strategy in the UK and beyond

2. Strategy implementation and partnerships development

· Build, foster and maintain strong relationships with target stakeholders (external audiences, leaders, institutional partners, community organizations, funders, etc.) to

o Enhance effectiveness and reach

o Advance and drive collaborative solutions

· Influence UK key political decision-making processes

· Represent IFAW on priority issues in external meetings, conferences, public events, and media interviews and act as spokesperson.

· Play a key role in advancing IFAW commitment to impact investing. This involves:

o Identifying investment opportunities that generate financial returns and create social/environmental benefits.

o Working with the IFAW Leadership Team and others to develop and implement innovative investment strategies that align with strategy ensuring that our resources are used to drive transformative change.

3. IFAW UK Representation

· Serve as IFAW’s UK Representative corporations, institutional donors, private foundations, and other relevant stakeholders

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Minimum of five years of experience in the development of strategic partnerships and institutional funding, NGO management, high-level advocacy or a related field in the UK and beyond.

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Agility and strategic vision

· Demonstrated expertise in the nonprofit landscape.

· General understanding of environmental and climate issues. Knowledge of conservation and animal welfare is an asset but not essential.

· Working knowledge of legal and compliance obligations that apply to international NGO operating in the UK.
