Who are we looking for?
At present we are working towards being fully operational, over the next year Living Reasons will be looking to expand its reach and part of that journey is to collect analyse and report on information gathered during our work and from our Lived Experience Board who will hold focus groups to supply information to ensure that the work that we carry out as an organisation remains relevant and changes as people’s needs do.
This information and the reports that are created on the back of it, will also be used to encourage and campaign for change in wider society.
The role of Research and Analysis Co-ordinator will be to collate the data and create analysis reports for the organisation to use as part of our ongoing projects and look at new areas of work that comes from this data.
You don’t need to have lots of experience in this area, just the attention to detail and understanding of how such data is collected and reported, we want to do things differently, therefore those core skills, as well as a passion for the charity purpose, is more important than anything else.

Who are we looking for?
At present we are working towards being fully operational, over the next year Living Reasons will be looking to expand its reach and part of that journey is to tap in to social media as a whole to communicate openly and confidently about the areas we work in. What we are doing, we feel is new and grabbing those opportunities.
With this in mind, we want people who have a specialist interest, experience in or want to learn more about one of more of the areas the Living Reasons will be working in and confidently host lives on social media or in our currently being built website option for video drop in live sessions that are two way conversations with people.
This role will mean having to deal with challenging members of the public, there will always be moderators to ensure the people taking part in the live session remain respectful but there may be the need to respectfully challenge people's opinions in an attempt to educate.
Living Reasons will never shy away from complex conversations and being challenged on our stance, we are sure we will learn from these sessions as well.

Founded in 1997, the Islington Centre for Refugees and Migrants provides a place for refugees, migrants, and people seeking asylum to rebuild their life with support and community. From classes to casework to financial assistance, the Centre has a wide offering available for our community of over 200 people. REMIX is a dynamic new start-up youth charity launching to transform the lives of young people aged 11-26 from disadvantaged areas of London, initially starting in Hackney, Tower Hamlets, and Southwark. The Role: Steer, Guide, and Direct REMIX
This is a high-visibility, high-impact leadership role, perfect for a proven Project Manager or leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is passionate about social change. You will act as the interim, unpaid operational lead for the launch, ensuring all elements of the start-up phase are managed and delivered effectively.

What you will be doing
As our Trustee Treasurer, you’ll play a key part in guiding The Ben Kinsella Trust’s financial wellbeing and helping us achieve our mission to prevent knife crime and keep young people safe.
You’ll bring your financial expertise and strategic insight to support the Board in making confident, informed decisions about our resources, sustainability, and long-term plans. This is a voluntary, non-executive role, you won’t be managing day-to-day finances, but your perspective and advice will help ensure strong governance and sound financial management.
Working closely with the Chair, CEO, and Deputy CEO, the Treasurer will provide expert guidance on the charity’s financial strategy, investments, and sustainability. You will oversee financial reporting and controls, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support the leadership team in managing resources effectively across multiple departments.
This is a highly rewarding role for a qualified accountant who wants to use their professional expertise to make a real difference. We’re looking for someone who will bring energy, insight, and ambition — not just to oversee the numbers, but to play an active part in shaping the charity’s future. Strategy and Governance
- Act as a full member of the Board of Trustees, contributing to the overall governance, strategy, and direction of the charity.
- Provide oversight and assurance of the charity’s finances and risk management.
- Liaise with auditors and independent examiners as required.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including the Charity Commission and funders.
Financial Oversight and Management
- Oversee the charity’s financial strategy, budgets, cash flow, investments, and reserves.
- Work with the Executive Team (CEO and Deputy CEO) to monitor and review financial performance across multiple departments.
- Lead on the review of management accounts, annual reports, and audited financial statements before Board approval.
- Advise the Board on financial implications of strategic decisions, investment opportunities, and risk management.
- Ensure the charity’s accounting systems, particularly Xero, are effectively utilised for accurate reporting and transparency.
Support and Guidance
- Provide professional guidance and mentorship to Executive Team and the Finance and Operations team.
- Support the development of robust financial controls, policies, and procedures.
- Provide appropriate challenge and scrutiny to the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring sound financial decision-making that aligns with the charity’s objectives.

Skills and experience
You’ll have:
- Financial expertise - A recognised, qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CAI, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAS, ICAEW, or equivalent) with current or prior membership of a UK professional accountancy body.
- Strategic experience - Proven experience in overseeing significant budgets, supporting organisations through growth or change, and providing input on financial planning, investment, and risk management.
- Analytical and communication skills - Strong knowledge and practical expertise in Xero accounting software, or similar.

Kent Community Foundation (KCF) is looking for individuals to join our Board of Trustees who have a real passion for our county and want to make a demonstrable difference to the lives of people in our communities.
KCF is a professional grant-maker and local philanthropy advisor for Kent and Medway. We have been established for 24 years; distributing more than £60 million in grants to voluntary sector organisations across the county; supporting small charities to be sustainable and successful, and helping major donors maximise the impact of their donations.
Trustees are the volunteers who lead charities and decide how they are run; setting strategic plans, monitoring the performance, impact and sustainability of the charity and overseeing its governance. People of any age and background can be a trustee, and we're looking for people with specific experience to help us support communities in Kent. We are particularly interested in applications from people who are typically under-represented on trustee boards.
We have a comprehensive trustee induction programme, so if you have never been a trustee or on a board before, we will ensure you have all the knowledge and support you need.
Trustee: Desirable skills
We are looking for applicants to have one or more of the following:
· Lived experience of the communities we work with and the issues which arise in our county
· Experience of grant making; either as a philanthropist, grant maker or grant applicant
· Experience in working with or within social enterprises
· Experience in communications and PR
· A background in socio/economics, or connections with education in that field
· Knowledge of, and experience in promoting diversity, equality and inclusion
· Professional experience or active interest in technology, digital communications and AI
· Long term connections and networks with any of our stakeholder groups in Kent; such as philanthropists, businesses owners, key voluntary sector influencers
We hope to recruit up to three new trustees with different experience to offer, who can give some of their time and expertise to help KCF continue to grow and develop. We have four in-person Board meetings a year, and trustees also sit on at least one of our sub-committees, which meet two to four times a year (often remotely). There are also occasional events trustees are invited to attend to promote and engage with our work.

That is where I lived experience board of volunteers comes in. In essence that lived experience board is the driver for all that we do as an organisation and will inform, guide and develop the organisation.
The board is broken in to separate lived experiences which hold focus groups, support groups and communicated with each other to talk about members lived experiences, support each other and feel part of a community, while also using the voice and power of that lived experience to bring about change. The board chooses what information is passed on to the organisation and what is not.
Additionally, to the community aspects of the role, you will also be sent specific materials to share your experiences or take part in research or in new policy discussions or campaign ideas as the organisation evolves.
Additionally, to the specific lived experience groups, the full board can communicate with each other and will have periodic full board meetings that will allow people to share their experiences from various viewpoints, so that cross overs and shared experiences can become strength but can also guide the overall operation of Living Reasons.
For this role, all you need is to have lived experience of mental health conditions, either from a personal viewpoint, or as a supporter/care giver/guardian/family member. There will be two separate groups (one for personal experience and people who are supporting someone – this allows for different conversations to happen).
This role will really drive change, not just in Living Reasons as an organisation, but in society as a whole.

The person who is starting the charity up is autistic, has ADHD, CPTSD and also multiple physical conditions that effect daily life and is part of the LGBTQ+ community and has faced a lot of issues in life because of these things.
Living Reasons is being created to fix what we think is a challenging situation that is getting harder to achieve every week, month and year in the current economic, political, environmental and societal landscape. It is not easily defined but we hope the charity objects below will help put context to what we want to achieve, what we can say is that below are the issues we are trying to address, how we do this will change as quickly as society does, but the issues we want to tackle are these:
1) Outdated and damaging employment practices
2) Accessibility to services
3) Limited employment, training and education opportunities
4) Lack of support during times of crisis or need
5) Lack of equity and agency for many people in society
6) Institutional discrimination that is not challenged
7) Abuse of the legal system at all levels
8) Abuse of power in government bodies
9) Poor access to healthcare
10) Unequal treatment of many people in society by large corporations
11) Assumptions made by wider society based on incorrect, outdated or discriminatory rhetoric that is used in daily life

Role Overview
As the HR Recruitment Assistant, you will primarily focus on managing and scheduling interviews for various positions across the organization. Key Responsibilities

Key Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 1+ years of experience in recruitment, specifically in conducting interviews and managing the interview process.
Education: A degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. CIPD Level 3 or equivalent is a plus.
Interviewing Expertise: Strong background in conducting interviews, including using behavioural and situational interview techniques.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates and hiring managers effectively.
Attention to Detail: Ability to assess candidates thoroughly and provide insightful feedback to ensure the right hiring decisions are made.
Technology: Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and MS Office. Familiarity with interview scheduling tools and recruitment platforms is beneficial.

What this position entails
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for formulating our digital marketing strategy, including digital fundraising strategy, guiding the content creation team, and managing the brand voice, while also laying a solid marketing foundation for the organisation.
Collaborating with the operational director and the content creators, the manager will lead the crafting of our organisational strategic plan to implement marketing initiatives. We’re looking for a friendly and empathetic Pathway Volunteer. As the first point of contact for individuals accessing our Community Wellbeing Service, you’ll play a vital role in welcoming guests, conducting initial triage appointments to understand their goals and needs, and signposting them to the most appropriate support services.
The role will require you to:
- Greet guests who are visiting the Community Wellbeing service for the first time
- Conduct a ‘pathway’ triage appointment, establishing the members’ goals and note down areas of concern and current issues
- Signpost to local services and partners that come into the space
- If needed, book an appointment for the member with an advisor
- Update Sufra’s case management system, keeping detailed notes of appointments
Skills required
Professional
- No formal qualifications are necessary, however understanding and having knowledge of the landscape of Brent, the welfare benefit system and other voluntary and statutory services will be beneficial.
- You need to be a confident communicator, able to give a warm welcome to all and keep to timely appointment slots.
- Digital literacy is essential.
- You must be confident with IT platforms such as Microsoft Office and preferably have used case management systems before.
Personal - We need volunteers who:
