About the Role
This role provides essential administrative and organisational support to our Healthcare team - with a particular focus on supporting the Head of Healthcare Partnerships and Development in her day-to-day work. You’ll keep things running smoothly: organising meetings, preparing documents, managing follow-ups, coordinating data, and helping ensure our volunteer services and those across our NHS and community partners are consistent, engaged, and well supported. Key Responsibilities

Nightingale Hammerson is a leading specialist in the care of older people, supporting over 250 Residents from the Jewish community. As a Relationship Centred Care Coordinator, you will foster positive relationships, enhancing staff and Residents' wellbeing, and promote a respectful workplace culture.
What will your typical day involve?
In this role, you will lead workshops on key topics like Namaste Care, Dementia Care, communication, and team building to enhance staff skills and the care experience. You will advocate for staff wellbeing through reflective practice sessions, Schwartz Rounds, and other initiatives, fostering resilience and peer support. Collaborating with the psychology team, you will help build a culture of respect, communication, and inclusivity. Additionally, you will listen to relatives' feedback and support the relative peer support group every other month.
You will guide RCC Champions alongside Registered Managers, encouraging effective communication and engagement, and work to embed the Relationship-Centred Care strategy throughout the organisation. As a role model, you will demonstrate excellent communication with residents, promoting respectful, meaningful interactions
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 or QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, along with a strong understanding of dementia care, communication strategies, and relationship-centred care principles. A passion for person-centred care is essential, as is experience in healthcare, social care, or a related field with a focus on dementia care or RCC principles.
The candidate will also have leadership or coordination experience, particularly in facilitating team building, care-related workshops, and staff development. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
While understanding Jewish culture and familiarity with reflective practice and Schwartz Rounds are desirable, they are not essential.

The role
We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to help us maintain a secure and well-functioning work environment in our Grade 1 listed building near St James’ Park SW1.
The role holder will be primarily responsible for providing effective and efficient support for the running and maintenance of our prestigious building, responding to facilities issues as they arise along with the operation and administration of hard and soft services.
You will support the Health and Safety functions, run the Facilities Help Desk and manage the CAFM system, amongst other day-to-day responsibilities. You will contribute to establishing best practice and work under the supervision and guidance of the Operations and Facilities Manager to ensure adherence to regulatory, statutory requirements and best practice guidance.
We are looking for a proactive team player with great communication skills. You will need to be well-organised, able to prioritise your own workload and show flexibility in meeting the needs of the team.
Please note this role is on-site five days a week.

Refuge Team Leader - Permanent, Workplace based

Specific Responsibilities
As a senior member of the team, support the Refuge support service coordinator to plan, deliver and evaluate high quality, trauma informed, person led services across Torfaen
Lead the refuge team to enable women and children supported by the refuge services to achieve meaningful and impactful outcomes, led by them.
Line management responsibilities including supervisions, 360’s, inductions for the refuge team (staff, volunteers, and students).
Carry a smaller case load of single women and families.
Oversee rotas for refuge staff and make sure the refuges are adequately staffed at all times.
Work collaboratively with Community Coordinator to ensure refuge, community and initial contact referral paths are easily accessible are clear and concise, and to continue to promote a whole team approach.
Support women and children to have a voice and provide feedback within the organisation and the sector, including surveys, listening sessions and external opportunities
To oversee operational Health & Safety requirements within refuge services
To oversee housekeeping, maximise refuge occupancy and facilitate room turnarounds in a timely manner
Ensure accurate and timely records are maintained in relation to all aspects of the service, including inputting information into our Information Management System.
Assist with routine audits including our database recording system and developing improvement plans where appropriate
Identify training needs following audits, supervisions, observations etc, and co-ordinate training for the team.
Lead regular Refuge Team meetings and participate in Torfaen full team meetings
Support the Coordinator and Service Manager in compiling reports for Welsh Women’s Aid (WWA) Statistics and other relevant reports for projects and services
Attend core group and other similar meetings, ensuring completion of all tasks allocated to Cyfannol Women’s Aid (CWA).
Support the refuge team to when appropriate signpost and refer women and children to the services they wish to engage with for example social services, the police, parenting, health, legal, DWP, housing, homelessness, recreational, educational, and cultural services and also CWA’s other internal services.
Being responsive to requests from other members of the organisation for quantitative and qualitative data, including for example, the creation of case studies.
A current valid driving licence, access to a car and insurance covering business use is essential.

Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led learning programmes at HMP Wymott. Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.
This role is a fixed term role until 31st December 2026 with the opportunity to be made permanent subject to contract renewal.
The role will be prison-based. As a Coordinator for our RNID Near You community service in Leicester City, you will focus and lead on developing and delivering our community service across the area through drop-ins offering:
- practical hearing aid support
- information on hearing loss and tinnitus

You will be responsible for co-ordinating up to 15 drop-in sessions and be able to recruit, train and manage a team of up to 30 volunteers to deliver the service across Leicester City. We are looking to appoint a motivated person with a keen interest in supporting people with their hearing loss. While you will be home based, there will be regular travel to all venues where we will provide drop-in sessions in community and care settings.
You want to make a difference in people’s lives and love to interact with various audiences, including volunteers, health & care professionals and people we support. You have experience managing people or volunteers and events, your own workload and are able to work evenings/ weekends if required. You are able to physically assist clients with hearing aids sensitively, giving clear guidance and taking into account individual wishes and health needs.

As Temporary Global Campaigns Coordinator, you will be part of a team responsible for researching, coordinating, and launching hard-hitting global corporate animal welfare campaigns against major multinational companies. These campaigns involve collaboration and coordination with animal protection organizations around the world and directly contribute to The Humane League’s org-wide goal of ending the abuse of animals raised for food by securing global cage-free policies that significantly improve the lives of millions of egg-laying hens.
As a campaigner, you’ll have the opportunity to develop knowledge of our targets, our primary campaign strategies, and the tools we will use to win. About the Early Years Assistant role
We are seeking enthusiastic bank staff to provide flexible cover for staff absences at our vibrant 59-place nursery, located in the Coin Street neighbourhood centre on London’s South Bank, just minutes from Waterloo and Blackfriars stations. As part of a dedicated team of educators supported by two experienced senior teachers, you will help ensure the smooth running of the nursery by assisting with mealtimes, activities, general care, and safeguarding the welfare of children. Our nursery is part of a wider Family and Children’s Centre, which offers holiday play schemes, activity camps, and a creche facility to support parents in training and development. Using our unique surroundings for real-life learning, we put each child at the centre of their learning journey. Cover will be provided on an ad hoc basis within our shift rota (8am–6pm).

Casual, Zero-Hours (may include evenings and weekends)
Salary
£14.13 per hour
