About the role
We have two roles available, one covering the South East, and one covering the East of England.
You’ll manage, coach and develop a team of Parkinson’s Local Advisers to deliver a high standard of service across the region. You’ll ensure that the team is supported in meeting service demand which will include more complex casework, covering gaps, or supporting new/inexperienced colleagues.
You’ll work with colleagues in the regional/country team to support the delivery of local priorities to reach more people affected by Parkinson’s.
What you’ll do:
- Lead a team of Parkinson’s Local Advisers to deliver a professional service that gives accurate, tailored information and support based on needs in line with service practice
- Ensure quality service standards are met, including assessing needs, advocacy, information and support given and referrals
- Provide coaching, support and guidance to your team of advisers, including through complex casework and safeguarding cases, to ensure a consistent service across the team
- Work with the Regional Lead and other colleagues to agree regional priorities to reach more people and provide a visible local service
- Be responsible for the health and safety of a remote, dispersed team, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures and acting as escalation point for lone working app
What you’ll bring:
- Experience of managing, coaching, developing, and motivating a dispersed staff team, including workload distribution and prioritisation
- Ability to implement reflective practice principles
- Experience of providing health and social care information services
- Experience of delivering a multi channel service effectively

As Development Manager, you will focus and lead on identifying opportunities to grow our reach through the rollout of RNID Near You services. You will be responsible for recruiting, supporting, and retaining volunteers across the region and representing RNID in your locality through active engagement with communities and local partnerships.
You will be responsible for:
- Recruiting and managing Community Volunteers to represent RNID in your region.
- Networking and prospecting to help open doors to opportunities in order to grow our services.
- Recruiting volunteers for the RNID Near You service.
You will identify local opportunities for development, improve the scope of our work and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders. Taking responsibility for developing partnerships with the aim of business development, you will collaborate and input on service development and support the Operations Lead in the implementation of the strategy of growth.

RNID Near You is our new flagship national service. People can get support in their local community from trained volunteers who can offer:
- A hearing check and information on how to book a full hearing test.

- emotional and practical peer support from people with lived experience.

The Role
The Engagement Lead will report to the Associate Director for London and is responsible for leading our Engagement Team and function in London. The Role
This role is for a Patient and Carer Involvement Coordinator, hosted by the Stroke Association on behalf of the GMINSDN.

· Developing and enhancing the existing PPI initiatives including the patient and carer groups and strengthening their impact.
· Improving engagement with the clinical stakeholders and voluntary sector to develop more holistic, patient centred pathways of care.
