Fundraising Strategy & Leadership
Lead the development and delivery of the organisation’s Development strategy in alignment with the strategic plan, in collaboration with Trustees, senior leadership, and external consultants such as TRG Arts.
Donor & Sponsor Development
Identify, recruit, and cultivate high-net-worth individuals, sponsors and other funding partners. Build trusted relationships and lead on prospect research, cultivation plans, and solicitation strategies.
Trust & Foundations
Build and maintain strong relationships with trusts and foundations, ensuring well-researched and compelling funding proposals. Track funding deadlines and reporting requirements, ensuring high-quality submissions and stewardship.
Revenue Generation & Innovation
Proactively explore and develop new income streams, sponsorship opportunities, and innovative fundraising models, ensuring alignment with the trust’s mission and strategy.
Events & Engagement
Plan and deliver a comprehensive programme of fundraising, cultivation, stewardship, and advocacy events to engage donors and stakeholders.
Communications & Advocacy
Act as a key advocate and ambassador for the trust, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment across fundraising communications, including oversight of the Annual Review.
Data, Reporting & Compliance
Oversee the fundraising database, manage financial reporting, track pledges, and ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting standards.

About the Role
This exciting Fundraising and Engagement Officer role will be part of the Fundraising and Engagement team to ensure that the delivery of Mind BLMK’s current and future offer of fundraising and engagement are effectively delivered. About the role
Reporting in to the Global Head of Programme Policy and Practice, the Programme & Partnerships Lead is pivotal to the design and impact success of signature programmes. It works closely with Multi Country Clusters (MCC) to do so, including the design of MEAL frameworks to support monitoring and evidence capture.
Working with MCC leadership the post-holder will identify areas for support and make appropriate links with enabling functions. Across MCC programme portfolios this role will provide support to ensure a coherent application of our partnership principles and alignment with organisational values and goals.
The role provides leadership to the team which includes MEAL, a Programme Portfolio Advisor, and a Civil Society and Faith specialist to help deliver high-impact programmes with an emphasis on decolonial approaches and methodologies. Some of the main responsibilities of the Programme & Partnerships Lead include:
- Inspire and motivate the team and colleagues in the Programme Policy and Practice division to support MCC’s, to drive meaningful impact.
- Work across Departments to support the design of signature programmes, including building connections across the MCCs, developing an appropriate MEAL framework and ensuring effective reporting and links to Organisational Effectiveness.
- Work with the Global MEAL Advisor and Organisational Effectiveness Department to commission internal and external impact evaluations and research for signature programmes and the wider unrestricted funding portfolio; this will include a focus on decolonial approaches to evaluation.
- With an emphasis on signature programmes work with IPE and MCCs to identify opportunities for the further development of signature programmes.
- Ensure processes and guardrails are in place to support the strategic allocation of resources to MCCs.

The British Academy – the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences - is seeking a Development Operations and Stewardship Officer to join our Development Directorate, providing key support within a small fundraising team of 9. It’s a particularly exciting time to join the Development Team - we’ve recently completed a successful capital campaign (£9.5m raised) and are now in planning stages of our next major fundraising initiative.
The role
This role is central to ensuring our supporters feel valued and engaged. You’ll help deliver the operational side of donor stewardship from processing income and coordinating communications, to supporting events and managing donor data. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Academy, including Development, Communications, Finance and Programme Teams, to ensure our donors are well supported and celebrated.
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys working across teams, communicating clearly, and managing multiple priorities. You’ll be proactive, organised and creative in your approach, with a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in strengthening relationships. About the role
The Director of Fundraising will play a pivotal role in driving income growth and ensuring the long-term sustainability of King's Trust International. Role Overview:
Sitopia Farm is seeking a part-time freelance Fundraising Consultant to lead all aspects of fundraising, with a specific focus on securing the £650,000 needed for our eco-barn project. This is a critical role that offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping us bring this vision to life. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in fundraising strategy, grant writing, major donor engagement, and ideally an understanding of capital campaigns. We have had a strong track record in securing smaller amounts of funding to date and have a strong network and potential opportunities that this role could capitalise on.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fundraising Strategy and Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy principally to secure c. £650,000 for the eco-barn project and support and develop fundraising for other farm activities as required.
- Identify and pursue diverse funding streams, including grants, corporate sponsorships, major donors, as well as crowdfunding and events.
2. Grant Writing and Proposal Development
- Research and apply for grants from trusts, foundations, and public funding bodies.
- Write compelling funding proposals tailored to funders’ priorities and ensure timely submission.
3. Major Donor and Corporate Engagement
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop tailored donor engagement plans, including pitches and impact reports.
4. Campaigns and Events
- Plan and execute an innovative fundraising campaign to raise awareness and funds for the eco-barn project.
- Work in partnership with external event advisers and in collaboration with the wider Sitopia Farm team to create successful fundraising events.
- Collaborate with the Sitopia Farm team to create engaging content and materials.
5. Project Management and Reporting
- Track and monitor fundraising progress against targets, providing regular updates to the team.
- Ensure compliance with funders’ requirements and support the Sitopia Farm team to deliver impact reports as needed.
Essential:
- Proven track record of leading successful fundraising initiatives, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
- Excellent skills in a range of fundraising techniques, in particular major donors, trusts and foundations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in building relationships with donors, businesses, and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the UK fundraising landscape, fundraising regulation and code of practice.
- Strong organisational skills- capable of managing multiple income streams with strong attention to detail and great record-keeping and project management.
- Ability to work independently and drive results in a part-time, freelance capacity.
Desirable:
- Passion for sustainability, regenerative agriculture, and community-building projects.
- Experience of fundraising for a capital project.
- Experience of event and campaign management/ ability to work with others to deliver those aspects of the strategy.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, and working closing with the CEO, COO, Executive team and members of our Board and Development Advisory Board, the Executive Director, Development will shape and drive a roadmap for this next stage of our philanthropic activity. Working as part of the Executive Team, you will exemplify the highest standard of professional integrity and represent the Foundation to senior stakeholders both internally and externally. With the support of a dedicated team and expertise of your peers, you will devise, implement and oversee an ambitious philanthropy strategy, underpinned by the appropriate fundraising policies, procedures and records including due diligence; raise the capital required to meet the Foundation’s fundraising targets; maintain detailed and up to date projections; own donor/prospect relationships; and communicate effectively to these stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will therefore be an experienced and entrepreneurial fundraising leader, who is equally adept at building significant philanthropic relationships as you are in meeting the operational requirements of an organisation of our size and complexity. You will bring a track record of personally cultivating significant gifts, as well as leveraging and supporting key stakeholders and volunteers to support these activities.
