This is a new role for the Circuit, replacing a volunteer. In designing the position, the Circuit has aimed for maximum flexibility to secure the best candidate for the role. Initially, the person will need physically to attend some meetings to familiarise themselves with the Circuit's operations and ensure a smooth hand-over. For the right person, though, there will be considerable flexibility about how the duties are fulfilled in the longer-term. It is specifically expected that the role will allow for flexible scheduling to accommodate other responsibilities, including caring.
The Richmond & Hounslow Circuit comprises seven churches in southwest London. As with all Methodist circuits, these churches function autonomously yet collaborate closely in their ministry and mission efforts. The Circuit oversees joint resources, including staff and property. Presently, it employs four full-time ordained ministers, one full-time lay pastor, and a part-time administrator. As a part of the Methodist Church, its mission is “to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission”. To fulfil this mission, the Circuit fosters a broad spectrum of ministry within its congregations, focusing on worship but also engaging in outreach to the homeless, asylum seekers, new parents, and various other groups. The Senior Accountant (Financial Control) post can be based in either the London or Manchester office. This role is in the central Financial Accounting and Control Team (FACT). In addition to being DCMS’ financial accounting Centre of Excellence, the team leads in the production of the consolidated accounts of the DCMS Group (with 34 of its 42 Arms Length Bodies directly consolidated) and manages the National Lottery Distribution Fund. The team is the hub for all financial operational and control functions including treasury management, VAT, purchase to pay support and manages the relationship with DCMS’ shared services provider. The DCMS Finance team is relatively small and this provides opportunities for development not always found in a bigger department.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Accountant (Financial Control) will include:
- Management and delivery of robust financial policies, controls, processes and systems.
- Management of the core department’s key finance system (Integra) and the relationship with the department’s shared service provider.
- Overseeing the payment process for suppliers via Purchase to Pay (P2P), including prompt payment monitoring and reporting.

About Our Client
The Director of Finance is responsible for the financial management of St George's Weybridge, a £30m business with over 500 staff. The post holder will fulfil a wide range of responsibilities and roles in connection with the financial strategy, accounting and general financial management of the School. The post is the most senior finance professional on the staff and reports directly to the Bursar, who is effectively the CFO/COO. As such, the Director of Finance has frequent direct contact with Governors and the Heads and attends the Governors' Finance and Risk Committee meetings.

Job Description
- Formulate the financial strategy of the School alongside Governors and the Executive Leadership Team (consisting of the two Heads and the Bursar).

The Role:
The Partner Engagement Lead is responsible for key account management, and specifically developing and supporting relationships with programme sponsors and partners within the WorldGBC network.
The Partner Engagement Lead will work closely alongside the programme/projects team subject leads, taking responsibility for day to day management of activities that relate to sponsors or stakeholders, including partner relationships, external collaborations and fundraising.
Working cross-functionally within a matrix-style organisation, the Lead will work collaboratively on the engagement pillar of WorldGBC's fundraising team alongside the Partnerships Manager and the Strategic Partnerships Lead. This team coordinates closely with all WorldGBC departments, in particular where sponsors are involved with initial focus on the programme/project partners.

JOB SUMMARY:
- Multi-faceted position encompassing all aspects of financial bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable and management accounting.
- Provides accurate and up-to-date financial information to support the Consultant Finance Director and the CEO, ensuring all agreed accounting procedures and financial controls are followed.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages accounts payable and receivable processes in timely fashion, ensuring accuracy.
- Ensures correct coding and prepares journals.
- Act as a credit controller: monitoring and chasing outstanding invoices, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Processes staff expenses and credit card expenditure efficiently and in line with the Expenses Policy and Procedures. Handles discrepancies and queries direct with employee or manager.
- Processes external contractor monthly invoices and any expense claims.
- Ensures the receipt and accurate coding of all income and donations.
- Processes Gift Aid reclaims and reconciliations.
- Managers banking processes and transfers. Performs monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounting including bank accounts, in line with month-end processes
- Ensures proper accounting records and financial records are kept up-to-date and adheres to controls put in place.
- Provides assistance and information for budgeting and financial forecasts.
- Ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Supports the Consultant Finance Director with year-end processes.
- Liaises with auditors and other external parties as required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications
- Relevant Finance degree level education or qualified by experience.
- AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in management accounting roles with excellent knowledge of general accounting techniques
- Worked in a small finance department or stand-alone role, ideally within a small to medium-sized charity.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office. Experience with Xero software preferred.
- Strong administration skills with a high level of numeracy.
- Confident verbal and written communicator with good interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates great attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise/organize a busy and varied workload to meet work deadlines.

The client is looking for a Qualified Accountant, preferably with a charity sector background.
The charity has income of Approx £11million which is a mixture of Restricted and Non-Restricted.
Reporting into the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will be:
To ensure effective support and delivery of organisational objectives, theis position plays a critical role in maintaining an efficient month end, ensuring accurate financial data, preparation of financial reports, carrying out the annual/audit process.
* Coordinate with country offices to consolidate financial data and ensure consistency, accuracy and transparency of financial reporting.
* Operating a smooth and disciplined month end with all balance sheet accounts reconciled and full monthly management pack and management accounts submitted to the Global Head of Finance.
* Preparation of full management accounts, analysis and presentation of accurate financial reports, including income/expenditure statements, balance sheet, cash flow statements, KPIs and forecasting.
* Monitor budgets, track expenditure, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Provide guidance and support to budget holders in budget development, cost control, and financial accountability.
* Coordinate with the Finance Business Partners to prepare/review restricted donor financial reports, ensuring the data reflects the records on the accounting system and meets donor compliance.
* Work with the Head of Global Finance to prepare the financial statements and manage the year end audit process/relationship.
* Work closely with the Head of Global Finance to support the annual budget process including interim forecasts and cash flows.

About the role
This role will provide financial and operational leadership and management for CCLC particularly focussed on the Legal Practice Unit and the Migrant Children’s Project but with support for the Child Law Advice Service and Coram International where required. Managing a small finance team, the role will hold primary responsibility for core financial functions within CCLC including legal aid billing and management and tracking of grant and other charitable funding. Through systematic and efficient financial management, the post holder will play a pivotal role in CCLC’s financial sustainability. The role will act as a key point of contact with Coram’s central finance team and a range of internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.
The role will also oversee the smooth running of the London and Colchester offices through line management of operations and administrative staff.
The role would suit a high organised and efficient business support professional with experience of financial management within the legal or charity sector. In particular, candidates with experience of legal billing and more specifically, civil legal aid billing, would be welcomed.
This is a largely office-based role in order to fully provide support to the finance and operations team. However, some remote / hybrid working may be possible depending the experience of the candidate after the initial settling in period (to be negotiated with the successful candidate).The finance team are split between the London and Colchester offices and the post holder should expect some travel to both locations. The large majority of the legal and policy team are based in London and as such regular (at least twice weekly) presence in our London office will be expected. However, on other days the candidate could be based in the London or Colchester office.
Whilst this is a full-time position, we will consider requests for part-time working (28 hours per week minimum) and we will endeavour to offer some flexibility with days and hours to be agreed.

About this role
The role of the Finance and Payroll Manager is to support the Development and Finance teams to manage and report on restricted income, as well as to manage monthly in-house payroll under the guidance of the Head of Finance. This involves ensuring that we are maximising the use of restricted funding, and that money is spent in line with donors’ wishes and that staff are paid accurately and on time each month. The Finance and Payroll Manager will work within a small Finance team under the supervision of the Head of Finance. They will work closely with the Joint ED, wider Senior Management Team, Head of Development and budget holders throughout the organisation.
They will support the Head of Finance with annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting as well as with the production of the monthly management accounts. They will support the Development team in making grant applications and develop restricted grant budgets for newly secured grants for integration into the organisational budget; they will meet regularly with the Development team and budget holders to review restricted project spend. They will produce reports for funders working in conjunction with our Development Team and casework teams. The Finance and Payroll Manager will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement of the finance systems, processes and grant management tools to ensure they continue to be fit for purpose.
Contract and location
The role is a full-time, permanent position with an annual salary of £50,571 per annum less any required deductions for Income Tax and National Insurance.
Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work a minimum of 40% from the London office and the rest of the week from home.
