Responsibilities of our Digital Learning Specialist:

• Take overall responsibility for the design, development and delivery of Digital Learning in Cats Protection
• Working with colleagues across the charity, you will lead the development of bespoke Digital Learning programmes to meet the needs of volunteers and employees
• Support the Head of Organisational Learning and People Development in meeting the Learning and Development (L&D) management information needs of the charity and in demonstrating return on investment of L&D activity
• Provide expert project management support to the L&D Team

About the Digital Learning team:

The Digital Learning team is one of three internal learning teams that work together to deliver organisational capability. Led by the Digital Learning Specialist this team works with stakeholders across the organisation to meet their needs. Core aspects of their work include:

• Manage the development and maintenance of our Learner Management System (LMS) ensuring it is fit for purpose and providing support for the wider L&D team and learners.
• Develop data analysis to help L&D to understand leaners’ needs and experiences.
• Create high-quality e-learning using established development processes and working with subject matter experts from across the organisation.

• Significant experience of managing and implementing digital learning programmes for a large organisation with volunteers and employees, supporting strategic aims and cultural change
• Proven experience of researching, designing, delivering and evaluating high quality digital learning products and solutions that meet organisational and individual needs
• Significant project management experience and the ability to manage multiple projects across an organisation
• Experience of managing a team

The Hepatitis C Trust runs national projects where peers draw on their lived experience of drug use, criminal justice systems and hepatitis C to support others . We are now recruiting for a new and exciting role to join our Cardiff & Vale of Glamorgan team. 

As part of an experienced team, this role will promote hepatitis C awareness, blood borne virus testing and referral to treatment, for people living with hepatitis C. The role will support volunteer peers and increase the project’s reach to underserved communities. You’ll be providing vital harm reduction interventions including needle, syringe and naloxone provision across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

Purpose of the job

To work with Thames21’s Head of Finance and The Roding Rises delivery team to oversee the administration of The Roding Rises, a three-year project supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund that aims to kick-start the revitalisation of the River Roding. This position will work alongside Thames21’s Head of Finance and The Roding Rises Project Manager to ensure that every day finance functions for The Roding Rises project operate efficiently and accurately. To successfully deliver this job, the postholder will have a strong eye for detail and have experience in budget management/bookkeeping to ensure funding claims and invoices are paid on time. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Track project costs against projected budget to ensure budget vs actual expenditure is effectively managed, raising concerns early with Thames21’s head of finance and The Roding Rises project manager.

• Complete The National Lottery Heritage Fund claims process at agreed intervals to ensure an appropriate cash flow.
• Assist with relevant reporting tasks back to project funders. 

• Work with the Thames21 Head of Finance and Thames21 Finance Officer to ensure all payments are completed in a timely manner in line with internal financial processes and any outstanding payments are managed in line with the approved funding agreement/ project proposal documentation. 

• Support The Roding Rises project manager with the administration of the Roding Rises grants scheme.

• Support the development and integration of improved financial tracking and reporting processes across wider Thames21 Teams.

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Customer Research Analyst to join our Customer Insight Team in a newly created role.

As a Customer Research Analyst, you’ll help us understand our supporters, donors and stakeholders even better. Working closely with teams across the organisation, you’ll deliver research that brings our customers’ needs to life, supports informed decisions and drives meaningful engagement.

In this role, you’ll design and deliver both quantitative and qualitative research, providing clear and actionable insights that help shape strategy. Alongside the Customer Research Manager, you’ll help champion the use of insight in everything we do, identifying opportunities for market intelligence and consumer research along the way.

You’ll take part in pre- and post-campaign evaluations, design and run customer surveys, interpret data and share findings that inspire action. You’ll also collaborate with external research agencies, when needed, and help develop and promote our Insights Library so knowledge is shared and accessible to everyone.

What we want from you

We’re looking for a Customer Research Analyst who’s curious, analytical and eager to make a real impact through insight. You’ll have a keen interest in both quantitative and qualitative research, from shaping research design and methodology to turning data into meaningful stories that drive action. You’ll already have some experience working in a market or customer research environment.

You’ll bring a strong desire to grow your market research skills and the confidence to communicate findings in a clear, engaging way, whether that’s presenting to a room full of colleagues or sharing insights one to one.

You’ll enjoy building positive, collaborative relationships across teams and have a proactive, results-driven approach that keeps our audiences’ needs front and centre. Above all, you’ll be motivated by the idea of using data to drive change and make a real difference to men and their families affected by prostate cancer.

How and where we work

We are all expected to be in the office (SE1 2QN) 4 days a month (pro-rata for part time colleagues) to work with and alongside colleagues in our immediate team and beyond to build connections and strong working relationships. About the role

Reporting in to the Financial Planning & Analysis Lead, the Senior Finance Business Partner (Income) will champion strategic financial insight and support within the Income and Public Engagement Department, driving accurate financial planning, analysis, and reporting for income streams, working closely with fundraising and institutional teams, including the development of funding bids.

The post-holder will enable effective decision making through data-driven insights, ensuring financial sustainability and fosters a mindset that aligns with Christian Aid's strategic objectives

Some of the main responsibilities of the Senior Finance Business Partner (Income) include:

• Partner with the Income and Public Engagement team to develop and champion accurate income forecasts, budget plans, and financial models.
• Provide financial insights and challenge assumptions which drive and optimise income generation strategies, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
• Ensure financial reporting for income is accurate, timely, and meets internal and external compliance requirements, including donor regulations.
• Collaborate with fundraising teams to provide financial insights on donor trends, unrestricted vs. restricted income, and return on investment.
• Identify and drive the implementation of improvements in financial processes related to income tracking and reporting.
• Support the development of fundraising bids by providing financial expertise

About you

Who we are looking for

Essential:

• Professional finance qualification.
• Substantial experience in financial business partnering or financial planning and analysis.
• Demonstrable knowledge of income streams such as fundraising, grants, unrestricted/restricted income, and the financial implications of different funding sources. 
• Advanced knowledge of charity sector income streams and financial management.
• Understanding of donor reporting and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of fundraising finance and return on investment analysis.
• Understanding of financial systems and tools (e.g. SUN, Power BI, Excel).
• Highly developed skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling.
• Highly developed skills in business partnering and stakeholder engagement.
• Highly developed skills in budgeting and variance analysis.
• Developed skills in financial reporting and donor compliance.

Desirable:

• ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Experience working in an income-focused role is highly desirable.
• Experience in the non-profit/charity sector is desirable, particularly in Fundraising Finance, Donor Compliance, or Grant Income 
  Management.
