The Healthy Ageing Project will address specific challenges within the community, while actively promoting healthy ageing in practical and effective ways across our network.
We will focus on the strengths and expertise of our member groups to promote engagement with Ireland's unique music, dance, sport, language and culture.
We will work together with our members throughout this three-year journey. Together, we will develop, launch and promote a project geared towards improving health and wellbeing, reducing health inequality and providing strategic direction for national health programmes and policy recommendations for the Irish community.
This post is part time (17.5 hours per week) and will be based in the Midlands/ North of England, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester etc.

The Purpose of the service is to establish a local integrated offer of intensive, therapeutic overnight stays and outreach support. Focused upon building the capability and resilience of families so the child/young person can experience greater permanency of care with their families, foster care, or benefit from the range of services available to them in their community.
The Service will focus on improving the outcomes for Children and Young people on the Autistic Spectrum, and other learning disabilities with the aim of reducing the number of children referred for residential care.

As a Senior Community Support Worker (Positive Behaviour Support) you will provide first line management to a team of Community Support Workers (Positive Behaviour Support), developing their capability through demonstrating the right values and behaviours, mentoring staff, and supporting their ongoing development.
The aim of the Early Intervention and Prevention Service is to work with families that may be struggling with managing the behaviour of one or more of their children, you will work alongside the family and multi agencies to deliver a high standard of care and support.
You will have the opportunity to receive formal Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training and coaching from qualified behavioural specialists within the Together Trust.
Senior support staff will work alongside management to ensure the service meets Ofsted children’s home regulations and works in line with current legislation.
This service will develop to offer respite care to the families and young people that we support and from the Manchester City Council Local Authority Area. This service will be a dual registered OFSTED and CQC service.

About the role:
The Alcohol Behavioural Change Specialist is responsible for collaboratively designing and implementing, evidence-based programmes applying appropriate behavioural change models aimed at reducing alcohol-related harm, and promoting long-term behavioural change related to alcohol consumption.
As a leading charity focused on alcohol harm reduction, the postholder will be Drinkaware’s internal expert regarding alcohol harm to individuals and will have a good understanding of brief interventions, as well as information, advice and guidance including quality assurance across our work. About you:
This role requires a deep understanding of psychological theories, behavioural science, and addiction, along with practical experience in behavioural interventions.
Qualifications and/or experience
- Degree or higher in Psychology, Behavioural change, Public Health, or a related field. Certification or training in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, or other relevant therapeutic approaches is highly desirable.
Essential Criteria / Key Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioural science theories and experience of how to apply them to alcohol use, with proficiency in delivering behavioural change techniques.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing behavioural change interventions, particularly in the context of alcohol or addiction.
- Experience with digital health applications is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate individuals at all stages of behavioural change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess, plan, and implement effective behavioural change programmes.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working in the health sector and have a passion for reducing alcohol harm in the UK.
- Experience working in partnership with internal and external agencies and organisation
- Experience of working collaboratively across internal departments and teams
- Knowledge of public health initiatives and policies related to alcohol use.
- Data analysis and program evaluation experience.
- Confident public speaker able to represent Drinkaware at events, conferences and in the media.

Ensuring there are multiple and ongoing opportunities for people with lived experience of homelessness and bad housing to be part of Hub development, activities and learning is a key element of this role, as well as upholding and promoting a learning culture with the Hub.
About you
A natural leader, who can inspire, others to advocate for change, you will have a proven working knowledge of homelessness, housing and related issues affecting local communities. You will possess sound experience of managing and delivering contracts, partnerships and services along with experience of being involved in implementing and reviewing change management, whilst demonstrating excellent budgeting and financial reporting skills.
The ability to proactively develop and maintain key relationships and having impressive analytical skills to use insight and evidence to present data, manage performance and to identify and implement systems change are vital to this role, as are impressive interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Location: Between both sites – Winchester Science Centre (WSC), Winchester, SO21 1HZ, and Wonderseekers HQ, Eastleigh, SO50 9DE. Onsite presence is essential for the majority of this role, however occasional remote working is possible for a small proportion of time – this can be discussed at the interview stage.
Work pattern: Usually Monday to Friday working during office hours. Occasional out of hours work will be required. The charity operates 7 days a week.
Salary: Between £40,000 - £43,500 per annum (1 FTE)

1. The Role
The Head of Audiences is a new leadership role in the Commercial Operations team designed to ensure that audience insight and segmentation are at the heart of everything we do. This role will lead on understanding who our current and prospective audiences are, how they engage with us and what they need now and in the future. You will use this insight to guide programming, marketing, visitor experience at Winchester Science Centre but as we evolve our Charity’s reach and engagement you will play an important role in ensuring we fulfil our ambitious plans and reaching a diverse community. By building an inclusive and evidence-based audience strategy, this role will enable Winchester Science Centre to grow reach and engagement, deepen impact and fulfil its charitable mission to inspire a lifetime of curiosity in science.
The role is part of the Commercial Operations team led by the Chief Operating Officer and will work closely with the Head of Programming and Head of Visitor Experience. However, you will work with the wider leadership and their teams to ensure that both the community programme and on-site experience are insight-led, responsive to audience needs, and relevant to a wide range of segments. It plays a key role in championing access, equity and inclusion across all areas of the Charity’s work.
As we embark on a chapter of significant growth, you will play a pivotal role in identifying the audiences and ensuring they sit at the heart of our decision making. You will work with key stakeholders across the business, including our Children’s Voice, to ensure the Charity can achieve its commercial and impact objectives. · Lead the organisation’s audience strategy, embedding a data-led approach that informs programme development, marketing and wider organisational planning and offer.
· Lead the audiences' team to deliver high impact campaigns that delivers on organisational objectives and visitation targets, that contributes to the continued brand development of Wonderseekers and Winchester Science Centre.

· Report regularly to the Executive Leadership Team and Board, sharing insight on audience trends, performance, and opportunities for future growth.

Special Circumstances

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will work as a trusted advisor to several non-finance budget holders and academic staff within the faculty and several Corporate / Professional Services areas.
