Role Overview 

We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and driven individual to lead our grant and bid writing function while also developing and managing relationships with corporate donors and partners. You will work closely with senior leadership to secure vital income through trusts, foundations, and businesses that align with our mission. 

Key Responsibilities 

Grant & Bid Writing (50%) 

• Research and identify suitable funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies. 

• Write compelling, evidence-based grant applications and funding proposals. 

• Manage a pipeline of funding opportunities, ensuring deadlines are met. 

• Develop and implement an impact reporting strategy for grant and bid writing. 

• Monitor and report on funded projects in collaboration (using Salesforce) with delivery teams.

Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters. 

The Corporate Fundraiser will be responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects and partners, ensuring a first-class cultivation and stewardship journey. Key responsibilities will include prospect research and new business development, compelling proposal and proposition creation, account management and event and campaign planning. The role will be hands on, focused on operational fundraising that delivers crucial short- and medium-term funding impact, as well as longer-term and sustainable corporate income for Richard House.

This role is offered on an interim basis, but with the option to become permanent.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Proven ability to deliver income and activity targets in corporate fundraising, with a strong knowledge of corporate fundraising techniques.
• A track record in fundraising with evidence of the successful stewardship of four-figure and above partnerships/gifts, ideally with some exposure to multi-year partnerships.
• Experience of building bespoke fundraising propositions for corporate partners.

Excellent communication and relationship building skills and an ability to interact with prospects and partners at all levels will be key.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Neonatal Lead to join the Wakefield and Kirklees and Calderdale Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnerships (MNVP).

Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnerships are a team of people working together to improve maternity and neonatal care for local people. They hold responsibility to act as multi-disciplinary working groups with the primary function of embedding the service user experience as a method for review and co-design of maternity services.

The groups are made up of an MNVP Lead, lay roles, women and their families, healthcare professionals such as midwives, health visitors, GP’s, local commissioners, charities, and community groups.

The Neonatal Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring that the experiences and needs of families with lived experience of neonatal care are central to the development and improvement of local maternity and neonatal services across Wakefield, Kirklees, and Calderdale.

This role would suit a person who is passionate about developing neonatal care and engaging with families across Wakefield, Kirklees, and Calderdale.

The role requires some flexibility in terms of time, but we also recognise and accommodate, where possible, the other commitments you may have, including work, parenting, and other caring commitments.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Neonatal Lead will be an advocate for the service user’s voice, ensuring it is heard and considered in the planning, review, and improvement of neonatal services.

They will actively engage with families with lived experience of neonatal care, to gather feedback and understand their experiences.

They will build strong relationships with providers, commissioners, and other stakeholders to ensure that the service user voice is heard and influences decisions.

They will work to identify areas where services can be improved and advocate for changes that will enhance the quality of care for neonatal service users.

They will work closely with the Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership Leads, share engagement information with the MNVP Leads in order to support them feeding in to local and national meetings and events, in order to share the service user voice and provide independent scrutiny.

· Be one of the points of contact for neonatal enquiries to the MNVPs.

· Lead on engagement with families with lived experience of neonatal care.

· Work closely with the Wakefield and Kirklees and Calderdale MNVP Leads, for example sharing engagement data so that this can be fed into local and regional strategic meetings.

· Input as required to MNVP social media.

· Work in collaboration with the Yorkshire and Humber Neonatal Operational Delivery Network (ODN), as part of the Co-Production Meeting.

· Organise at least three community based listening events per year, one in each locality – Wakefield, Kirklees, and Calderdale.

· Attend already established neonatal community groups in order to gain knowledge and insight into the experiences of those attending.

Recovery Support Team Leader Location: London Salary: £30,082 per annum, plus benefits Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time We are recruiting for a Recovery Support Team Leader. The Recovery Support service is available to current or former Forward Trust clients who are on a substance misuse recovery pathway, making good progress within the Forward Trust towards their personal goals, and coming to the end of their current treatment pathway. While Recovery Support is not exclusively for clients who are abstinent, clients will need to be in control of their drink and/ or drug use, and not be chaotic in their using i.e. heavy drinking, antisocial behaviour, daily/binge using of either drugs or alcohol (especially main substance/s of choice). Forward Connect is a peer-led mutual aid community of like-minded people who are making good progress in their own journey – this could be people in addiction recovery, moving away from crime, overcoming mental health problems, or who are coming out of a period of unemployment or homelessness. Roles Responsibilities The Team Leader will be based within the central Recovery Support team. The Team Leader will be responsible for co-ordinating all recovery support functions across Forward Trust’s substance misuse services into a coherent and effective service that offers inspiration and a structured pathway to recovery for service users, as well as supporting to develop our peer led network called Forward Connect. The Team leader will also support with the delivery of the peer mentoring strategy in their allocated geographical areas. The aim of the role is to have a robust recovery support service integrated into all services, promoting and modelling the organisations values and ethos, supporting service users to further develop their recovery and lives, whilst bringing visible lived experience to all including staff via a range of recovery support interventions. The role is Hybrid. About the Project

Herts Mind Network (HMN) has formed a partnership with Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust (HPFT) to deliver support in the Mental Health Urgent Care Centre (MHUCC) at Lister Hospital.

The MHUCC provides a dedicated space and service for rapid mental health assessment, intervention, and referral, thereby enhancing the quality of care and optimising use of systemwide resources. It provides 24-hour access to specialist mental health assessment aimed at supporting service users to access the least restrictive care and treatment options. It creates a systemwide response to acute mental health crisis that enables people’s needs to be met with the right care at the right time.

About the Role:

The Support, Time and Recovery (STAR) Worker will be based at the Mental Health Urgent Care Centre at Lister Hospital, promoting joint working and creating a seamless pathway into community support for clients recovering from mental ill health.

The STAR workers will work closely with individuals in a mental health crisis currently in the MHUCC, by using a person-centred approach to ensure that everyone is supported with dignity and respect.

You will have a key role with safe and supportive observations and attending to the service users on the unit. You will provide support for carers and liaise with the wider services to support smooth and timely discharge of service users back to the community.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide a consistent presence in the MHUCC for individuals with mental health needs to access for support.
• To advocate for service users, explaining organisations and pathways.
• To provide immediate information and advice about managing wellbeing, reducing risk and onward signposting and referral into wider HMN services and VCFSE organisations.
• To facilitate a clear and easily accessible pathway into the wider Nightlight Crisis Alternative services for individuals, to support timely MHUCC discharge, as an alternative to statutory crisis intervention, or as a supplement to wider care and treatment plans.
• To gather feedback and evaluation on patient experience in the MHUCC
• To develop sound and extensive knowledge of local resources to support in enabling appropriate referrals where necessary.
• To link in with wider Herts Mind Network services and facilitate referrals
• To ensure that a collaborative approach is used, with effective communication links developed with external professional NHS services and to work as an effective member of any multi-disciplinary team. This will require stringent relationships.

Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part time – 18.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,000 per annum (pro rata £12,500)
Remote: This role is homebased with occasional travel for staff residentials and other events.

About the Role

The Assessment and Data Administrator role is responsible for assisting with online assessment systems to ensure that full compliance of awarding organisations requirements are adhered to. Additionally, this individual will be the first point of call within the team for candidate or customer queries around our operational processes. 
 
We are looking for a positive, self-starter with strong organisational skills, who is confident with managing multiple tasks, and priorities and is able to provide an efficient support. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a team and also work of their own initiative, confidently communicate with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority and display judgement, integrity and trustworthiness as you will be privy to learner information.
 
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have previous experience of working with IT and online learning platforms and be confident in managing the breadth of tasks within this function.
 
Key responsibilities for this role will include:

• Registration of learners across awarding organisation(s) for all courses.
• Maintenance of learner records with the awarding organisation(s).
• Supporting lead IQA in preparation for external quality assurance visits.
• Management of and claiming of completed certificates and their distribution to learners across all courses. 
• Maintaining accurate records of learner data for reporting and planning purposes. 
• Supporting the Academy team by providing data on learner number, course breakdown and completion rates. 
• Handle incoming enquiries relating to Academy operational processes. 
• Create effective interactions with customers across various platforms. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex customer queries, fostering a seamless customer journey. 
• Managing customer queries and assigned inbox. 
• Ensure the NYA follows best safeguarding best practice. 
• Ensure all operational activity and youth work content is to the highest quality, representing the position of NYA as the National Body for Youth Work in England.

We're hiring a Support Coach to join our Independent Approved Premises, commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP) which works with high risk offenders who have left prison. Penrose Drive is a community setting, rather than custodial where residents can go out in the community if they do not have restrictions on their license. Security is therefore flexible in both design and operation. The team work in a multi disciplinary approach, working alongside probation services, job centres, mental health teams, and other community partners. You will join the team to support in the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents back into the community. You will engage with them through key working activities to understand their needs and goals, then provide pathways and support to enable them to independence and help reduce reoffending. 

The service hold regular activities in service, in a bright and airy environment. The team work closely with one another and support which achieving overall service KPI's, and you will be part of making a greater change. FLEX is looking for a passionate advocate with a good understanding of the UK political system, of labour abuse and/or exploitation and human trafficking in the UK, and demonstrable experience of coalition working and building relationships with key stakeholders working in the anti-trafficking, employment rights, and/or immigration sectors. This recruitment comes at an exciting and challenging time for our work at the intersection of employment rights and immigration policy. This role will inform and support our work to influence and improve law, policy and practice affecting worker in high-risk sectors in the UK.

In this role, you will lead on FLEX’s advocacy at the London level and coordinate the joint research advocacy and project work of FLEX networks and coalitions. These currently include the Labour Exploitation Advisory Group (LEAG) and the Taskforce on Victims of Trafficking in Immigration Detention, two networks made of expert organisations directly supporting people who have experienced or are at risk of exploitation. Above all this role requires someone with real passion and commitment to FLEX’s work to end labour exploitation and an excitement for working in a small, dynamic team.
