About the role
We have a new and exciting opportunity to work with us as an Evidence Officer, working as part of the Strategy, Impact and Evidence team.
Sustrans’ Strategy, Impact and Evidence team is a leading centre of excellence in active travel research, monitoring and evaluation and we are recruiting now. As an Evidence Officer, you will work on a range of behaviour change and infrastructure projects, providing monitoring, evaluation, and analytical support. The Strategy, Impact and Evidence teamplays an important part in supporting our vision by providing robust evidence on sustainable and active travel that ultimately influences and shapes policy, practice and behaviour across the UK.
Focusing on monitoring and evaluating the impact of infrastructure and behaviour change programmes, you will work on a range of projects around the UK and be involved in the planning, delivery, analysis and reporting of our monitoring and evaluation work.
We offer true hybrid working, a flexible mix of working from home and occasional travel to a nearby office hub. There is minimal travel required in this role, however in the course of your work you may have to travel to one of the nominated hubs or project sites if required to do so.
About you
You should have demonstrable quantitative and/or qualitative analytical skills, and be a competent Excel user or have working knowledge of statistical software, such as R.
As an excellent communicator in both oral and written forms, you will have with the ability to present data and findings clearly. You should also have the capability to find innovative and creative solutions to problems.
You will own some experience of project management as well as delivery of project monitoring and evaluation. You should also have some experience of working and communicating with suppliers, partners and/or clients.

Prospect Research Manager

This strategic role sits at the heart of our development team, building and maintaining a data-led pipeline of high-impact donors to advance ZSL’s conservation science, fieldwork, and education. By leading on prospect research, philanthropic analysis, and network mapping, the postholder will help ensure ZSL’s fundraising efforts are focused, proactive, and aligned with our organisational priorities.
Following the implementation of a new CRM system, the Prospect Research Manager will also play a key role in embedding best practices in data management and prospecting across the team. From crafting research tools to spotting new funding opportunities, this role will directly support the success of ZSL’s fundraising programmes and, ultimately, our mission to save wildlife around the world.
This is a part-time role, with the option of working either 2 days (15 hours) or 3 days (21.5 hours) per week. We are happy to offer flexibility across the working week, and the specific days and schedule can be agreed with the successful candidate to ensure a good fit for both the individual and the team.
There is an expectation to attend the office once per week as well as any required in person meetings.
The full-time equivalent (FTE) salary for this role is £36,750, which equates to a pro-rata salary of:

Key responsibilities:
Prospect Research & Pipeline Development: Conduct high-quality, targeted prospect research to identify and support new fundraising opportunities across ZSL’s priority income streams: institutional fundraising, individual giving, and corporate partnerships.
Strategic Prospect Development: Collaborate with the leadership team to shape and implement a robust prospect development strategy that aligns with ZSL’s organisational goals and long-term fundraising ambitions.
Insightful Donor Intelligence: Create detailed research briefings, biographies, and insight reports to support donor cultivation, stewardship, and strategic engagement planning.
Tools, Processes & Compliance: Support the continuous improvement of prospect management tools and systems, ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to relevant codes of practice.
About You
- Experience in wealth screening, capacity assessment and affinity analysis to provide propensity scoring.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and how it applies to prospect research and development (e.g. GDPR and the Fundraising Regulator Code of Practice).
- Experience of successfully implementing a prospect development strategy to support increasing and diversifying income.
- Proven experience in identifying and conducting detailed research on high-net-worth individuals, trusts and corporates for the higher education / charity sector.
- Evidenced track record of supporting fundraisers with insights in fundraising to achieve six or seven figure donations.
- Experience of using databases within fundraising for prospect management and reporting and making appropriate data management recommendations (Tessitura would be an advantage).
- Knowledge of the principles of philanthropic analysis, relationship mapping and connections, and what makes a good fundraising prospect.
- Demonstrable ability to engage, share expertise, and appropriately challenge senior stakeholders, including CEO with strong interpersonal skills and discretion.

The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS), is the only patient-led organisation in the UK specialising in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). 1. Main Purpose of Job
To drive referrals to and use of, NRAS services from NHS relationships across the UK.

The Head of Partnerships and Fundraising is responsible for the majority of income generation for our charity. The Switch raises income from corporate volunteering partnerships and through grant applications to other trusts and charities, which together contribute circa £800,000 per year. This role will manage and grow our current key corporate partners, ensuring sustainability and longevity in our partnerships. The job-holder will seek new partnerships in diverse industries where we have fewer stakeholders, to ensure our young people work with companies and volunteers from wide-ranging sectors.

About the role
You’ll lead on the production, project management and execution of our biannual Parkinson’s UK Excellence Network Awards, which celebrate outstanding health and care services to people with Parkinson’s.
You’ll lead a collaborative event that involves multiple internal teams across Parkinson’s UK as well as a range of external stakeholders, including health and care professionals, people with Parkinson’s and their families or friends.
You'll bring event and project management experience, ensuring a seamless experience that celebrates achievements, engages participants, and aligns with strategic goals.
What you’ll do:

Plan and project manage the Excellence Network Awards, creating and leading the delivery group.

Build awareness of the Awards with key teams and maximise external opportunities.

Engage and coordinate our judging process including communicating with our panel

Design and implement a fair and transparent process for nominating, shortlisting and selecting awardees ensuring it celebrates excellence in Parkinson’s care

Develop an events plan, working with internal and external suppliers and partners.

Oversee event logistics, (e.g. registration, catering, AV requirements and scheduling), ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and taking into consideration the needs of people with and/or affected by Parkinson’s

Coordinate on the day event operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and addressing any issues that arise.

Manage a set budget, and create or develop processes and maintain records for future events.

Develop project evaluation and feedback for internal colleagues, and manage follow up communications, sharing outcomes and event highlights.
What you’ll bring:

Experience of planning, project managing and executing events or award ceremonies. Experience in healthcare would be highly beneficial.

Significant experience in project management and events, including budgeting, timeline creation and stakeholder management.

Highly organised and able to manage a range of activities across different teams, encouraging and motivating colleagues to support the key deliverables and providing updates and reports.

The Role

Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our marketing and communications team as our PR & Stories Manager as, arguably, there has never been more focus on hospice and end of life care in the UK. We have been actively engaging with media on topics such as hospice funding, assisted dying and the need for improved access to end of life care across the UK.
As PR & Stories Manager, you'll drive forward our media work with passion, tenacity, imagination and good judgement, to increase awareness of St Christopher’s and dispel myths around hospice care through securing high impact broadcast and print coverage for the hospice and capturing and sharing people’s stories and experiences of St Christopher’s.
You’ll be a natural people person; with a gift for quickly building a rapport with people from all walks of life. Whether its briefing people for media opportunities or listening to their stories you’ll put people at ease and be person-first in your approach.
Some of the main responsibilities of this role include:
Drive forward our media work with passion, tenacity, imagination and good judgement securing high impact media coverage to help increase awareness of St Christopher’s and dispel myths around hospice care.
- Sensitively gather personal stories from people connected to St Christopher’s and support them in telling their story to raise awareness and funds for the charity so that we can continue to support people when they need us most.
- Work on campaigns and key moments that highlight our important policy and influencing work.
- Write compelling case studies, press releases and pitches for a range of mainstream media, local press, professional journals and publications and to support our marketing appeals and campaigns.
- Work with colleagues, patients, families and supporters across the hospice providing clear briefings and support throughout media interviews and afterwards; ensuring they are supported, comfortable and happy with the outcome.
- Identify and regularly meet with key spokespeople throughout the hospice who are best placed to speak on topics of media interest aligned to organisational ambitions and key messages. Work with these spokespeople to develop their skills through media training and briefings, write media bios and secure relevant media engagements, gaining their trust and building rapport
- Work with colleagues across the hospice to proactively and reactively identify and interview patients, their family and friends and supporters and write effective and powerful stories.
- Manage visiting journalists and media on site and forge strong working relationships with key journalists pro-actively pitching stories, responding to the current news agenda and providing key spokespeople who are able to speak with warmth and authority on a range of key topics.
About you:
- We will need someone with substantial experience of gaining high-quality media coverage through national and local media outlets with demonstrable experience in copywriting for different audiences.
- You will have proven experience leading, planning, co-ordinating and delivering PR campaigns for a range of audiences in a multi-channel environment.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
