Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Executive Director to lead ProVeg UK in this next phase of growth and impact. This role combines strategic leadership with high-level stakeholder engagement, fundraising, and organisational development. ProVeg UK has a very strong track record in influencing public food through its School Plates programme, which has, to date, swapped over 47m meals from meat-based to plant-based or veggie. We work in over 8,000 schools across the UK, reaching over 1.3 million children every day. We are keen to expand this excellent work to a wider range of stakeholders, including hospitals (a new manager has just been recruited to develop a Hospital Plates pilot), policymakers, the corporate sector and media. 

The Executive Director will be at the forefront of this expansion, while also ensuring the continued success of our existing programmes. In this role you will provide mental health statutory and non-statutory advocacy support, including non-instructed advocacy to eligible people living in Tower Hamlets. You will also  provide generic Mental Health Advocacy to people living in the Tower Hamlets and within a hospital setting and the community.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audience Insight Researcher to join the Audience Insight team at Alzheimer's Society on a fixed-term contract. We are looking for an exceptional individual with proven experience in designing, conducting, and delivering qualitative and quantitative ad hoc primary research projects. The focus of this role is on producing clear, insight-led recommendations that support teams across the organisation in making evidence-based decisions.
The Audience Insight team operates as a hybrid internal agency and consultancy, leading transformative market research that shapes strategic direction. Our work spans a wide range of audiences, including supporters, service users and the public, and includes both primary research and analysis of secondary data sources. We also partner with trusted external agencies on key large-scale research initiatives.
All our projects are insight-driven and strategically aligned, providing high-quality consultation rooted in a deep understanding of the needs and priorities of internal stakeholders.
You will:

- Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative market research projects.

- Project manage throughout the project lifecycle.
- Determine the appropriate methodology to meet the project objectives, budget & deadlines.
- Design questionnaires and discussion guides.
- Conduct qualitative interviews and moderate group discussions.
- Programme surveys to be conducted with supporters.

- Analyse qualitative and quantitative data.
- Lead on the evaluation of data from market research tracking projects.
- Write reports that provide insight and actionable recommendations.

About You
You are:

- Passionate about championing the diverse needs of people affected by dementia.
- Proficient in designing, conducting, and analysing both qualitative and quantitative market research.
- An experienced qualitative moderator, confident in facilitating engaging discussions.
- Skilled at producing insightful, story-led reports that communicate findings.
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, with a meticulous approach to your work
- Proficient in the MS Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Experienced in survey programming tools (e.g., Forsta, SmartSurveys) – desirable.

The organisation is a charity committed to improving social mobility in the UK. Their work is focused on improving social mobility through education opportunities. Their mission is to level the playing field for young people from low-income backgrounds so that they have a fair chance of accessing leading universities, apprenticeships, and jobs. With a three-pronged approach including programmes, research, and policy advocacy, the organisation supports nearly 12,000 young people each year and they have been able to work towards keeping social mobility high in the political agenda.

As the Head of Philanthropy, you will inherit a successful philanthropy area of fundraising for the organisation and will devise and implement a comprehensive strategy to build income from individuals across the full suite of structured giving schemes. You will personally scope and secure new major gifts from individuals and lead the organisation’s approach to alumni fundraising, working collaboratively with the Alumni team to appropriate engage programme beneficiaries. The Head of Philanthropy will also be responsible for relationships with Board members, Fellows, alumni donors and legacies.

To be successful as the Head of Philanthropy will be an experienced manager and fundraiser, confident in securing new business through active prospecting and networking and ingrained knowledge of how to secure and steward HNWIs. This will ideally have been done at the six-figures-plus level and you will have significant experience networking to build and manage relationships that lead to major gifts.

This role is a full-time permanent position that will have hybrid working in the London offices for at least two days per week. The salary for this role is £56,000 to £68,000.

About the Role

Sense is recruiting a Senior Community Fundraiser, this is a full time permanent position based in our offices in Kings Cross, London. This is a hybrid role, working in the office 2 days per week.

We’re looking for an experience fundraiser to join our Community Fundraising Team, responsible for generating income and engagement, working closely with services, volunteers and engagement staff. The successful candidate will support and deliver the community fundraising strategy, growing our portfolio and building new long-term relationships for Sense. You will be responsible for generating income for Sense, supporting the delivery of our Community Team income target of £569,000, enabling community fundraising to become a dependable source of income for the charity.

The main duties and responsibilities include:

• To ensure all community supporters are given the highest level of customer care and that all enquiries and requests for support are responded to quickly and effectively.
• To focus on growing income for Community Team across two key areas - groups and associations and schools and universities.
• The Senior Community Fundraiser will lead on the Community Team’s national projects and communicate updates and plans effectively with the team.
• To achieve agreed income targets, monitoring and forecasting on a regular basis and taking remedial action when necessary.
• Build effective and consistent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and to engage and enthuse them about activities of the Community Fundraising team.
• To work closely with the wider Fundraising Directorate in order to break down silo working and ensure that all opportunities for fundraising are maximised and knowledge sharing takes place Directorate-wide.
• To work with colleagues in our Operations and Trading teams to develop their fundraising potential and supporting them with fundraising ideas and collateral.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Understanding of Community based fundraising trends.
• Evidence of own continuing professional development.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a community fundraising environment.
• Experience providing the highest level of stewardship to supporters / fundraisers or customers.
• Experience managing projects, with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable regularly speaking to both current supporters and potential supporters in person and by the phone.
• Experience of working with budgets and financial targets.
• Experience with proposal writing or grant writing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to keep clear and accurate records, producing reports and analysis and presenting them in an effective way to stakeholders and Head of Team.
• Creative, and can generate new and innovative ways to fundraise, with a strong desire to succeed
