About the role

Over the coming year, The Drive Partnership is looking to review, update, and design new training to offer to The Drive Project workforce. To lead this work, we are recruiting a Drive training team made up of a Senior Training Lead, Training Lead and Training Coordinator.

This role offers a unique opportunity to support the upskilling of The Drive Project workforce and advance The Drive Partnership’s mission to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Contract: Fixed term until March 2026 with potential for 12-month extension to March 2027 - pending funding confirmation.

We are looking for a Senior Finance Officer to play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial support across the organisation. Purpose of the role

To deliver and develop the Day One Casework bedside model to patients, or those closest to them, impacted by serious or multiple injuries which could result in life changing consequences, such as disability or death, predominantly within Northern General Hospital, Sheffield but also in other hospital settings or Trusts as required. 

To have a visible physical presence within the Trust and become embedded into clinical teams focussing on the major trauma pathways.

To work closely with those impacted by catastrophic injury, taking referrals and carrying out initial assessments of need, expertly navigating, signposting and putting services in place in the immediate aftermath of major trauma, including talking about and facilitating early access to legal support to aid rehabilitation.

To establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders to promote Day One and address the needs of those affected by catastrophic injury. 

To work as part of the wider Day One Service’s team and organisation, taking responsibility for own record keeping and data collection in line with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities 

The post holder’s primary duties and responsibilities are as follows: 

• Work closely, and in partnership, with NHS clinical staff and relevant community and voluntary sector organisations, to address the needs of patients, and those closest to them, affected by catastrophic injury. 

• Operate a case management approach to individuals, assessing and identifying needs, putting support in place including signposting, making referrals and direct support. 

• Provide consistency in assessment of all patients, irrespective of injury cause, age, status, giving access to the earliest possible specialist legal advice which supports rehabilitation and NHS cost recovery. 

• Maintain detailed case records, including accurate records of activity and intervention, using Day One’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, capturing and storing data in line with Day One policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. 

• Implement processes and procedures to collect patient and family feedback and contribute to ongoing monitoring and evaluation of Day One services through providing relevant information, case studies and reports. 

• Build awareness of the role and charity’s purpose through building strong and effective relationships across the regional major trauma network, ensuring those who need it have access to Day One support. 

• Work closely with local authority, statutory and voluntary organisations to provide patient and family support and advocacy. 

• Help establish other support mechanisms once a person is no longer within the hospital setting, supporting the patient discharge process in conjunction with leadership from NHS staff. 

• Identify and support the recruitment and supervision of Day One volunteers, where appropriate. 

• Support the roll out of our Peer Support Service, focussed on promoting awareness and uptake within the region. 

• Work closely with the wider team on performance, quality, safety and effectiveness of all services, ensuring appropriate safeguarding policies are followed. 

• Work closely with our Fundraising and Communications team, supporting national activity, as well as regional initiatives to raise awareness and fundraise. 

• Be prepared to travel across the region and, on occasion, to other sites and national meetings as required. 

• Willingness to undertake continuous development and training for the role, including mandatory Day One and NHS Trust specific training.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity and exciting time to join our busy in house Facilities team. You will play a key part in supporting the team with overseeing the delivery of all areas of building management, through our service partners and other supporting contractors. The role is focused on optimising the ShelterBox UK digital channels, including website, social media, email marketing and digital advertising, to reach new target audiences, grow engagement, and increase digital income.

You will drive a high-quality and consistent online experience that responds to the values, needs and behaviours of warm and new supporters - ensuring all our digital content is well planned, cohesive and on-brand.

As part of the Communications & Digital team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Fundraising and Communications department to deliver digital activity and supporter journeys that support fundraising campaigns and appeals, performance marketing, as well as awareness and educating audiences on the issues faced by people after disaster.

You will line manage a Social Media & Paid Ad Manager, an Email Marketing Officer and the Website Manager.

Paid media is an area of strategic growth, so experience of managing digital ads and always on advertising is essential, as well as experience of working with agencies.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Digital marketing and strategy

• Oversee the delivery of the digital strategy.
• Alongside fundraising colleagues, the Social & Paid Advertising Manager, and an external agency, play an active role in the strategic priority project to upscale digital ads and performance marketing to drive income.
• Oversee the social media for organic reach and engagement and developing fresh approaches as algorithms change.
• Oversee the delivery of our email marketing, increasing email engagement, boosting income, and improving retention.
• Oversee the website, ensuring all web pages are written for digital audiences and fully optimised for search.
• Oversee planning for cohesive integrated campaigns that roll out across our channels.

The role will be pivotal in supporting our friendly fundraising team in the effective use of Donorfy. 

The Centre has to raise circa £2.5m every year to support our work with young people, children and families facing homelessness.  Our CRM and its effective use is critical to building our knowledge and insight to grow this income.  It’s a critical role that will have real impact.

Panathlon Foundation is seeking a Financial Controller (FC) to oversee the charity’s finances and support our mission of delivering inclusive sporting opportunities to children with disabilities and special needs across the UK.

This is a flexible, part-time role (2/3 days per week) that can be fully remote, making it ideal for someone seeking meaningful work with a values-driven organisation alongside other commitments.

As Financial Controller, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day financial management and reporting across the organisation. 

You’ll work closely with the CEO, COO, Fundraising team, and Trustees to ensure financial sustainability, transparency, and strategic insight. 

You’ll also play a key role in budgeting, impact reporting, and funder support.

Key Responsibilities

● Oversee financial operations, including payroll, ledgers, reconciliations and monthly management accounts

● Manage budgeting and forecasting, delivering regular financial updates and variance analysis

● Support impact and KPI reporting, linking financial data to programme outcomes

● Collaborate on donor and fundraising reporting, providing financial analysis for grants and proposals

● Manage invoicing and income tracking with schools and partners using Xero software.

● Support the CEO and Trustees with governance, audits, and committee reporting
 

About You

Essential

● ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified with relevant charity finance experience

● Strong knowledge of Xero (essential)

● Experience preparing management accounts, budgets, and donor reports

● High attention to detail and strong financial analysis skills
 

Desirable

● Understanding of charity finance regulations, SORP, or grant-based funding

● Experience working with schools, education and charity sector

We are looking to appoint a new Digital Communications Officer to play a key role in helping SportsAid build vibrant and engaged online communities, delivering content and fostering meaningful interactions across our digital platforms.

Our new digital community engagement platform will be a cornerstone of SportsAid’s digital strategy, providing an essential space for athletes and their parents to access tailored resources and training, connect with peers, and feel part of a supportive community.

Your focus will be on:

· Planning and producing content for the online community platform, ensuring regular updates, discussions, and engagement opportunities

· Day-to-day management of SportsAid’s social media channels, amplifying stories, celebrating achievements, and engaging with a wider audience

• Creating a mix of written, visual, and video content to drive engagement and audience growth.

Does this sound like you?

· Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Experience managing social media platforms, particularly Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok

· A passion for sport and strong understanding of the sports industry and the unique experiences of athletes

· Basic graphic design and video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

The salary is £31,250 p.a (pro rata), working across four days a week, and opportunities for flexible working are available. Actual salary c.£25,000.3 years fixed term contract

SportsAid Head Office in London (near London Bridge) with hybrid working. We are normally all in the office on Mondays and one other day of our choice. We are flexible about start times to help with the cost of commuting and we are genuinely flexible all round.

Job Purpose 

BSR events are a key benefit to members and the wider rheumatology community, offering the very latest in science, innovation, research and cases.  

Our events team deliver the award-winning Annual Conference in a hybrid format to c2500 delegates, plus our Case-based Conference, as well as a programme of celebratory awards.  

This role sits within the Events team which is responsible for delivering BSR’s annual conferences and awards. The team of four includes the Head of Events, Events Manager, Digital Events Manager and the Events Executive, who assists in the planning and delivery of our hybrid and in-person events. You will work on a range of areas including registration, logistics, being the main point of contact for delegates, and liaising with venues and suppliers. This is an exciting role for someone looking to get more exposure to different areas of events and working with multiple stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the registration process for BSR conferences, including online booking journey, managing CRM/registration systems, end to end customer service and reporting registration data insights.  
• Work with the Events Manager on the delivery of conference programmes and networking events.  
• Lead on event logistics including awards, abstract poster submissions, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation, accommodation, travel arrangements and speaker expenses. 
• Champion BSR’s values by leading on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and accessibility for conferences, working with venues and suppliers to ensure a positive experience for attendees.  
• Support the Events Manager and Business Development Manager with sponsor and exhibition deliverables on areas including registration and posters. 
• Manage event and registration enquiries, providing excellent customer service.  
• Support the Digital Events Manager with online conference integrations and data reporting.  
• Input into our event budgets by monitoring progress and providing financial reporting and reconciliation against income and expenditure. 
• Work with the Marketing and Communications team to create digital content to engage our audiences.  
• Support with BSR committee liaison and logistics.  

General 

• Be a core member of the events team by attending and inputting into all planning meetings, venue site visits and delivery of events onsite. 
• Identify and contribute ideas on how to improve processes and ways of working. 
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Head of Events.

Please note: This role will require travel, overnight stays and weekend work, for example at our conferences (6 day stay). As we are a small team you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in cross-departmental projects, lead or contribute to agile sprint working and support wider business needs. There are other opportunities to get involved with our staff forum or peer group meetings.
