Multi-award-winning Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal works in partnership with Aardman to support Bristol Children’s Hospital and St Michael’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We are seeking a talented individual to join our ambitious team to manage our flagship family accommodation service.
You will be responsible for the operational delivery of our family accommodation service, including the management of the housekeeping team, and you will ensure that all families receive a warm welcome, and experience first-rate accommodation during their stay.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong organisational skills are key attributes for this role. You will engage with hospital staff, and the families in their care, on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be expected to support the principles, values, and objectives of The Grand Appeal.

Key responsibilities:
· To lead and manage the daily operation of the Grand Appeal’s family accommodation service
· To provide a warm, supportive welcome to families staying in our accommodation

Key tasks:
Providing a high-quality accommodation experience
· Deliver high-quality accommodation service on a daily basis
· Build and maintain relationships with key staff at each hospital to ensure open communication and alignment to deliver a compliant, safe and high-quality accommodation service
· Undertake daily liaison with key ward/hospital staff to agree allocation of available accommodation
· Work closely with the hospital staff to manage any concerns arising
· Ensure accommodation is allocated in line with the Grand Appeal strategy, policies and procedures
· Provide a warm welcome and induction for guests on arrival and provide ongoing support during their stay
· Regularly review all guest materials to ensure impact and accuracy
· Develop strong relationships with guests during their stay and provide engaging information about the charity and encourage future fundraising and support
· Design and deliver a programme of regular touchpoints with guests, for example weekly coffee mornings
· Ensure guest data is accurately recorded and processed in line with GDPR requirements

Operational management
· Work closely to support the wider Operations and Services Team
· Manage the daily allocation of work for housekeeping staff and regularly check standards
· Maintain good stock levels for cleaning materials, bedding, appliances etc., to ensure the smooth running of the accommodation
· Manage the annual accommodation budget and ensure effective procurement practices are in place and implemented
· Manage, review and suggest improvements to the Grand Appeal’s standard operating procedures for family accommodation
· On an interim basis, work with the wider team to provide whatever support is required for the servicing, maintenance and testing requirements for the accommodation e.g. fire checks and alarm servicing
Income generation and team working
· Work collaboratively to ensure all touch points for income generation are presented
· Encourage donations and fundraising from guests and provide relevant information on ways they can support the charity
· Make introductions to the wider fundraising team
· Support Grand Appeal events including representing the charity at events as required
· Act as an advocate and spokesperson for the charity, to support media requests and donor visits
· Support the marketing and communications team to help identify suitable guests to be involved in future media requests and/or case studies
Other tasks
· Keep abreast of governance requirements pursuant to all charity activity, including but not limited to the Charities Act, Fundraising Regulator, Institute of Fundraising Code of Practice, Gambling Commission and General Data Protection Regulation.

About Us
Amaze is a Sussex-based charity that supports families with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Amaze’s fundraising is growing. We used to fundraise mainly through trusts and foundations. We still receive a large portion of our income from statutory funders (such as councils and the NHS). In the last 18 months we have begun work to increase our income from other sources. We are launching a big and exciting art-based fundraising project that will take place in autumn 2026. In this project we will work closely with artists, businesses, schools and members of the public. We are looking for a fundraiser to help us deliver the project, working within and alongside our fundraising and marketing team.
About the job
As our Community and Events Fundraiser, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks. You will help plan fundraising events, organise our presence at community activities, and support our wonderful volunteers. A big part of your job will be building strong relationships with schools and community groups, encouraging them to get involved and supporting them in their fundraising efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for organising events, liaising with schools, youth groups and artists, supporting volunteers and supporting community fundraisers. Purpose
This vital Data Officer role will support the Data Team in maintaining and developing the supporter relationship database (Salesforce NPSP), providing high quality support to CBM UK staff. Our location

Winnall Rock School (WRS) is a grassroots youth music charity, offering free and low-cost music education to young people aged 10-18 across Winchester. Since our founding in 2004, and becoming a registered charity in 2014, WRS has grown into a vital cultural fixture for Winchester's youth. Now, we are entering an exciting period of renewal and growth, and are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to help us secure the future of our work.
The Role
This role is ideal for a motivated and experienced charity professional who thrives in a multi-disciplinary role. The Operations Manager will take on day-to-day operational responsibility for the delivery of our weekly sessions and programmes, while leading our fundraising efforts to secure long-term sustainability.
The post-holder will be the main point of contact for young people, families, tutors, and partners, and will work closely with the WRS trustees and Creative Director to ensure smooth operations, continued engagement, and growing impact.
Initially, we are seeking the successful applicant to work under contract for 3 days per week for 6 months, at a daily rate of £180-£200 per day based on a 7.5 hour working day (£24-£26.60 per hour). Success in this role could lead to the post being extended beyond the initial six months.
Working Pattern
This is a hybrid role with a mix of home-based and in-person responsibilities. The successful candidate must be available every Tuesday evening during term time to attend and manage our weekly music sessions in Winchester. This includes opening and closing the venue and providing on-site operational support.
Job Requirements

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar project mangagement/fundraising role within the charity sector.
- Demonstrable success securing income from trusts, foundations and/or individual donors.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.

We are also in the process of developing our new 5-year fundraising strategy, so you will be instrumental in creating an ambitious new plan to develop a diverse and sustainable mass fundraising portfolio, covering the key areas of donor acquisition, retention, and growth, with a focus on maximising our Challenge and Community events portfolio, and increasing Legacy, In Memory and Regular giving. You will be responsible for developing and delivering a portfolio of products to grow voluntary income, whilst leading a newly expanded and ambitious team.
