Purpose of Role
As Digital Fundraising Lead you’ll oversee Comic Relief’s Digital Fundraising & Engagement programme, from strategy to delivery; managing and developing a team of high performing colleagues. Key responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
· Lead the strategy setting; annual planning and budget setting for Comic Relief’s Digital Fundraising and Engagement activity, including keeping abreast of external trends; innovations and digital developments and exploring how these factor into Comic Relief’s objectives; building financial models, developing business cases, setting and monitoring budgets and managing reforecasts throughout the year.
· Where appropriate, bring x-organisational project teams together to strategise, plan and deliver digital fundraising and engagement change projects.
Delivery & Performance
· Working as a lead within the Public Activation & Individual Giving team, work with the team and wider organisation to champion digital innovation and performance optimisation, specifically leveraging new technologies, tools, approaches and data-driven insights to ensure digital communications and experiences are appropriately targeted, designed and delivered in a way that maximises audience growth, engagement and income; return on investment and / or life time value in line with agreed objectives.
· Ensure a robust and continuous test and learn methodology is applied across the team; results and learnings are recorded, systematically actioned and shared for maximum impact.
· Bring teams together to ensure our Digital Fundraising and Engagement strategies and plans are aligned with organisational capabilities and priorities and

· Experience of designing, implementing and optimising digital strategies and user journeys to achieve ambitious B2C sales/fundraising outcomes for a high profile brand.
· Significant experience of paid, owned and earned digital channel planning and delivery; media buying and performance management, including attribution modelling/tracking.
· Extensive knowledge and proven technical experience of using Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM); Email Service Providers (ESP) and Google Analytics (GA4) & associated systems to optimise engagement and income.
· Experience of designing and leading the development and execution of digital products and content for defined audience segments based on data insight.

The Living Wage Foundation has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as an Operations and Data Officer. We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to help maintain, develop and continuously improve our data and systems. The role will be an integral part of the Living Wage Operations and Insight Team, providing technical support to ensure the integrity of our systems, and supporting with development projects.

Support the day-to-day operations and management of all systems within the Living Wage Foundation designed to enable the functioning of Living Wage accreditation schemes.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Data Services, the Data Officer will meet data needs relating to the management and delivery of supporter and engagement products. You will work alongside three other Data Officers to assess, prioritise and provide solutions including the building of data selections and journeys for direct marketing purposes and the running of supporter data imports and exports.

You will be responsible for the delivery of core elements of the Supporter Acquisition programme, developing engaging communications / products and activity across multiple channels, such as paid search and social, email, telemarketing and offline channels. You will lead and deliver projects for the recruitment of new supporters to identify new audiences, optimise response, grow the supporter base and contribute to the lifetime value of supporters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead in the development and delivery of Supporter Acquisition campaigns/activity/products across a range of media, with a specific focus on digital channels, in line with strategy, planned budgets and targets, ensuring campaign deadlines are met.
• Work closely with the Individual Giving Manager – Supporter Acquisition to plan, manage and deliver the annual operating plan, including end-to-end project management, making decisions within agreed parameters, providing recommendations for final approval.
• Be responsible for the briefing and the day-to-day management of internal and external suppliers including copy and artwork development through to production, broadcast and final print.
• Monitor and report on campaign/activity/product performance/KPIs (e.g. end of campaign reports, monthly reporting) and analyse results to enhance campaign performance and inform campaign planning, decision making and improvements to Supporter Acquisition.
• Manage the briefing and liaising with the Data team to deliver complex and accurate data selections and reporting requirements.
• Deliver draft budget and reforecasting figures as part of the planning and budgeting process, providing information required, and working closely with the Individual Giving Manager – Supporter Acquisition, to review and reforecast activities for Supporter Acquisition.
Person Specification:
• Experience of applying the principles and techniques of Individual Giving / Direct Marketing within a multi-channel, multi-discipline environment, especially through supporter acquisition channels.
• Good project-management experience, including managing budgets, schedules, creative development, and supplier relationships for fundraising direct marketing campaigns.
• Knowledge of best practice digital fundraising, with particular experience of running Search, Social and online campaigns to increase supporters and gather data for future marketing opportunities.
• Experience of managing campaign budgets, reforecast of activity, monitoring, reconciling and reporting on results in line with KPIs.
• Experience of managing external relationships, for example with suppliers, agencies, including effective negotiation re costs and contractual obligations.
