Purpose of the Job:
The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for leading and managing all fundraising activities to generate income for the Sanctuary. The role involves developing corporate partnerships, organising events, and overseeing digital fundraising efforts. The post-holder will also be responsible for delivering effective, measurable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for business supporters, managing fundraising campaigns, and ensuring financial targets are met.
This role is key to increasing corporate and community engagement, growing fundraising channels, and enhancing the Sanctuary’s digital presence to maximise income generation. The Head of Fundraising will work closely with internal teams to coordinate activities, monitor performance, and identify new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Fundraising & Partnerships
· Develop and maintain a pipeline of corporate donors, securing new partnerships while managing existing relationships and ensure that these relationships are properly managed through regular contact and progress reports.
· Build strong relationships with business supporters to secure both general and restricted funds.
· Develop and deliver corporate volunteering days, team-building activities, and fundraising opportunities.
· Oversee the logistics, including venue bookings for corporate and external events, increasing revenue through targeted business engagement.
· Review contracts, letters of agreement and other correspondence for current corporate partners.
Fundraising Strategy & Income Generation
· Work closely with the senior management and the Board to develop and implement a robust fundraising strategy.
· Propose and test new fundraising opportunities across corporate, digital, and community fundraising streams.
· Support and deliver fundraising events, appeals, and campaigns to meet financial targets.
· Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and best practices, including GDPR and the Charities Act.
Events & Campaign Management
· Plan and execute fundraising events, coordinating internal and external teams for smooth delivery.
· Lead on corporate sponsorship and event partnerships to maximise income and brand exposure.
· Represent the Sanctuary at networking events, industry meetings, and public engagements to increase awareness and secure funding.
Digital Fundraising & Social Media
· Oversee digital fundraising campaigns, maximising income from online channels.
· Develop compelling digital content to engage supporters and attract new donors.
· Manage social media fundraising activities across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).
· Track, analyse, and report on digital fundraising performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
Monitoring & Reporting
·Regularly review fundraising performance, preparing reports for senior management and Board.
· Maintain accurate donor and corporate records, ensuring data is up to date and GDPR compliant.
General Duties
· Meet regularly with Trustee to update them on proposals and to provide regular updates on progress.
· Assist with website content, newsletters, and marketing materials.
· Always ensure a positive representation of the Sanctuary, especially when engaging with the public and corporate partners.
· Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to support key fundraising activities.

Leadership and Strategy
• Support on the development of the corporate partnership programme. Working alongside

• Monitor and analyse trends within corporate fundraising, both internally and externally,
using these findings to influence the direction of the programme.
• Develop a pipeline of new prospective corporate partners, working alongside the Prospect
research manager.
Relationship Development and Events
• Cultivate, engage and manage strong relationships with existing corporate partners with a
focus on building strategic multi-year partnerships.
• Create high quality, inspiring proposals, pitches and materials to maximise new
opportunities.
• Work with the communications and advocacy team to maximise marketing opportunities.
• Lead on the development of inspiring stewardship events that convey MAP’s work and
impact to current and new corporate partners.
Budget Management, reporting and compliance
• Create three year rolling budgets and reforecasts, setting income and expenditure targets in
collaboration with the Head of Philanthropy.
• Manage financial planning, reporting, and risk assessment for the Corporate Partnerships
budget.

and carry out regular due diligence reporting on existing corporate partnerships.

About LMK Leaders
LMK Leaders are passionate and organised educators who run community workshops, aimed at young people aged between 11 and 24. Expectations of LMK Leaders
- Always adhere to LMK and host organisations health & safety and safeguarding practices and procedures.

- Respond to comms (emails/WhatsApp) sent out by LMK team members in a timely manner, to support planning and organising of sessions.

Respect is a pioneering UK membership organisation in the domestic abuse sector. Founded in 2000, we have built our expertise over the last 23 years in what was then a fledgling sector and recently have seen significant and rapid growth.
Respect supports frontline organisations across the UK, so that together we can end domestic abuse. Make a Change
Make a Change is a community-wide, early response approach to people using abusive behaviours (or who are concerned that they might be) towards a current or ex-partner. The model has been developed by Respect in partnership with Women’s Aid Federation England, drawing inspiration from their Change that Lasts approach. It includes three strands: expert support programme for perpetrators with parallel support for survivors, workforce development and community outreach.
Improving the safety, freedom and wellbeing of adult and child survivors of domestic abuse is a key outcome for our work with perpetrators. The Make a Change model is a multi-partner project offering local areas a framework for delivering perpetrator work. Where feasible, we aim to establish partnerships with local survivor domestic abuse service to deliver parallel support for survivors (referred to as Integrated Support Service) as part the expert support strand.
Purpose of the role:
The Senior Communications and Policy Officer will work with the Make a Change team at Respect to advance the development of communication and policy activities for the Make a Change model in project sites and nationally to encourage uptake in new areas. They will also work with Respect’s Communications and Influence leads to ensure alignment with the organisation's broader messaging and advocacy efforts, maximising the impact of Make a Change initiatives. The postholder will lead on developing and implementing communication strategies and plans in partnership with our delivery partners across the sites.

THE ROLE
The full-time Creative Communications and Events Officer works within the Communications team to help inform the public about antisemitism using a variety of media.
You will be joining our small, fast-paced, entrepreneurial staff team based at our office in central London.
The role brings a diverse set of responsibilities and an opportunity to work within a charitable organisation with a strong sense of purpose.
Responsibilities
- You will design graphics across our organisation, from social media posts and placards to pamphlets to pledge cards
- Work with creative colleagues to conceive and implement a variety communications campaigns to raise awareness about antisemitism and educate the public, sometimes at short notice and with tight deadlines
- Provide logistical support for communications projects, including scouting and booking locations, ordering materials, liaising with third parties and conducting internal research
- Plan, script, shoot and edit videos on various topics for different audiences on our numerous social media channels
- Growing our social media presence, including paid campaigns, to maximise reach and engagement
- Play a significant role in podcast production, from researching and booking guests to audio and visual editing
- Strategically planning and executing key events for the organisation throughout the year, ensuring maximum impact
- Design merchandise for our website and oversee the logistical aspect of sales
- Measure and analyse performance and outcomes of campaigns to increase reach and effectiveness

Your role
You will be responsible for the management, development and delivery of marketing and communications to support CWNN’s fundraising strategy. You’ll work alongside our Development Manager to create compelling fundraising campaigns, content and communications, growing engagement from individuals, companies, community fundraisers and potential funders while simultaneously raising our profile among stakeholders through strategic communications and marketing plans. Support our Development Manager to create and deliver impactful and innovative fundraising strategies including our public appeals, challenge events and local fundraising campaigns.

Job Purpose:
- Manage the digital assets of Islamic Relief UK, particularly the website, ensuring that it operates in an optimal manner.
- Manage the development, evolution and/or integration of digital assets, e.g. digital giving platforms and digital events management systems.

Working as part of the Development Team, to plan and execute effective fundraising strategies for Derby Theatre. The role will have a particular focus on copywriting for trusts and foundations, cultivating donor relationships and coordinating and developing Derby Theatres’ Friends scheme. The Development Officer will also deputise for the Head of Development as required.
Key responsibilities
Trusts and Foundations
· Conduct research into possible funding streams for funding priorities.
· Assist in the production of funding reports for existing supporters.
· Update the reporting schedule, to include deadlines.
· Draft applications for small grants (under £15,000) and support the Head of Development in making applications for large grants.
· Assist the Head of Development in creating proposal templates for all key projects.
Individual Giving, including Friends Scheme
· Work closely with the Head of Development to develop and manage the individual giving strategy, including legacy fundraising, to ensure retention and growth.
· Coordinate and administer the Derby Theatre Friends Scheme including payments and renewals alongside the marketing and box office team.
· Work closely with the marketing team to oversee all Friends communications, including scheduling and writing content.
· Take responsibility for stewarding relationships with donors and Friends including arranging meetings and supporter events throughout the year.
· Work with the Box Office team to oversee and grow Point of Sale (POS) donations and Gift Aid sign up, working to achieve targets set and reporting progress to the Head of Development.
Corporate Giving
· Work with the Head of Development to implement the Corporate Giving strategy to include researching and identifying new corporate prospects. Attend networking events to build relationships and take responsibility for cultivating prospects, developing relevant proposals and key messaging and overseeing the administration relating to corporate supporters.
Development Events
- Organise, manage and attend supporters’ evenings including liaising with front of house and catering staff, and managing the guest list.
Administration
· Support the development and executive teams by preparing briefing notes, and research profiles for the fundraising activity.
· Assist the Head of Development in keeping the team informed with any legislation or trends development within fundraising.
· Maintain accurate records on Spektrix and the shared drive, as well as keeping efficient paper files and audit trails where appropriate and make sure financial data is accurate and funds are received timely.
· Liaise with all teams to ensure that project information and budgets are up to date.
· Update the website and printed materials with the relevant fundraising information and credits.
· Support on the collation of data for applications and reports, including Arts Council England reporting.

· To actively support and promote Derby Theatre’s Learning Theatre model, including a commitment to engage with the University of Derby’s Theatre-related higher education provision; to contribute to learning opportunities such as work experience, placements, and the theatre’s role as a learning environment.
