Who we are

DFY Sports helps young people aged 4–15 from underserved communities flourish through sport. Based in Brent and active across surrounding boroughs, we deliver PE sessions, after-school clubs, holiday camps, football training, and run an ambassador programme connected to our founding sports agency, ISC.

We’ve grown fast—and we’re just getting started. As we scale over the next 1–3 years, we’re looking for passionate trustees to help shape that journey.

Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a dual role in driving programme enrollment and delivering exceptional service to prospective participants. Focused on sales and outreach, this position generates leads, conducts cold calls, and converts inquiries into enrollments for the employability and skills development programme. Key Responsibilities:

About the role

As a board of trustees we meet remotely every 6 weeks, there may be some activity in between meetings so the estimated total time commitment is 4 hours every 6 weeks.

· Making sure we are compliant with our governing document and the requirements of the Charity Commission, and

· Being an active member of the board to help us make good decisions

We’re looking for a Social Media Volunteer to join us for a 3-month period, supporting our marketing team with social media content.

Reports to: Emma Bardsley, Marketing & Relationships Manager

Contract type: 3 months

Hours: 5 hours per week/ 1 hour per day

The role:

You’ll be engaging with our audience on various platforms to promote the work of The Hunger Project.

This role is for you if...

• You’re passionate about social justice and having a positive impact on our world.

• You're naturally gifted at generating engaging content across a variety of platforms and are fanatical about the power of social media to drive social change.

You will be:

• Creating exciting content for our Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn pages.

• Connecting with followers, answering questions, and tailoring content to the audience.

• Reviewing engagement figures and growing our online platforms.

Required skills and attributes:

• Experience with social platforms – personal or for business.

• Ability to understand and follow The Hunger Project’s brand and social media guidelines.

• Experience in working to a deadline.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting

• Top-notch spoken and written communication skills; you have a keen eye for detail and detest spelling mistakes.

• Previous experience using Canva and scheduling posts in a platform like Later

Introduction

The Passage is establishing a new Special Events Fundraising Committee to support the Senior Events and Community Manager, with the primary goal of growing income from Special Events and attracting new supporters to The Passage.

Purpose of the Committee

• The purpose of the committee is to support The Passage’s Senior Events and Community Manager in delivering successful fundraising events that generate significant income and expand The Passage’s network of supporters. Specifically, the Committee will:
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Events and Community Manager to meet or exceed fundraising goals through special events.
• Source exclusive, money-can’t-buy auction items and experiences to enhance the appeal and revenue of live and silent auctions.
• Leverage personal and professional networks to sell tickets and tables for events like A Little Night Music and the Sports Quiz.
• Introduce new supporters to The Passage through event participation.
• Explore and implement creative ways to promote The Passage’s events to a wider audience, increasing awareness and attendance.
• Utilise personal and professional networks to identify potential corporate sponsors.
• Leverage connections to bring celebrities or high-profile individuals to the event to increase its visibility and appeal.
• Assist in innovation of the Special events portfolio.
