We are seeking a Fundraising Officer to join the Foundation during an exciting period of growth. You will work as part of a small team to deliver our fundraising strategy – we aim to grow fundraised income to £1 million annually by 2027 to fund vital work across the Peak District. This is a key role within the Foundation and is a great opportunity for someone wanting to build experience across all areas of fundraising, as well as grant-making.

About the Role
This role is an opportunity to develop your fundraising skills and gain experience across a broad range of incomes streams while also providing essential administrative support across our small charity. You will support the Director and Fundraising Manager with fundraising from grant makers, individual donors and corporate partnerships. You will already have strong digital skills and will take the lead on developing our digital fundraising through expanding the effectiveness and reach of our social media. You will oversee the administration of our Peak Partners scheme for businesses and lead on signing up new bronze and silver level partners. You will also lead on community fundraising - supporting individuals and groups who want to fundraise for the Foundation. The role will also include helping to distribute much-needed grants to projects across the National Park.
This role would be ideally suited to someone with a digital communications background who wants to develop skills in fundraising, or an individual with some fundraising or sales experience who is looking to move into the environmental sector. You will be a confident communicator and willing to muck in and be a key part of our small friendly team.

The Internal Communications Manager is a pivotal role at the College as you will help develop and shape the College’s internal communication channels to drive information sharing and engagement with the College Strategy and Values for staff.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director for People and Culture, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the employee internal communications plan to inspire, inform and engage employees with clear, consistent messages that align with the College’s mission, values and goals.
As Internal Communications Manager, you will review and develop processes and communication channels and develop the annual plan for employee communications using innovative and creative approaches to engage and support. You will tailor communications for different operational areas, ensuring messages land effectively and in a compelling and timely format.

With a foundation degree in a communication or marketing area and with a qualification or certification from a relevant body such as CIPR, you will have a proven track record in internal communications and have experience of developing and implementing successful communication strategies and campaigns to reach diverse audiences.
You should have significant experience of working closely with senior leaders and have a strong background in delivering internal communications within a mid-to-large organisation. Your excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities will ensure you are capable of engaging with diverse audiences including senior management.

Weston Hospicecare is seeking a passionate and self-motivated fundraiser to develop and grow our Legacy and In Memory fundraising activity. · Amplify the work of the team through sharing ideas and knowledge. Keeping up to date with sector developments and ensure best practice across all Legacy and In Memory fundraising activity.
· Work with an ambitious, positive and creative approach, with experience in working collaboratively organisation wide.

The job
We’re looking for someone to wear two hats.
The first hat you’ll wear is that of a client lead. You’ll have full responsibility for the clients and projects that you and your team are working on. We’re on the hunt for a seasoned communications strategist and a creative campaigner. You’ll be someone who feels at home bringing your knowledge and experience to any communications challenge: from campaign strategy to brand strategy, from policy communications to digital marketing.
You should be a creative thinker, a problem solver, and someone who knows how to run projects profitably – and grow client relationships at the same time. You’ll be able to build relationships quickly, with clients and colleagues. You’ll spot mistakes, tactfully ask difficult questions, and tell us and our clients how to improve things.
The second hat you’ll wear is that of a new business lead. You’ll work with the CEO, Head of Strategy and other colleagues to identify, respond to, and win new business opportunities. We’re looking for someone who has directly relevant experience here – so you’ll have had experience in new business for an agency or consultancy, or have supported that function.
You’ll have experience responding to RFPs (and hopefully winning them – definitely tell us if you have a good hit rate), you’ll be excited by the idea of travelling abroad to give presentations to prospects and convert them to clients, and you’ll have ideas about how we can improve our marketing to generate more inbound leads. Where some see new business efforts as taxing and draining, you’ll be energised by it, and see new business as a game that is fun to play, and win.
Key skills and experience
The core things we are looking for are:
- Minimum 6 years experience, with at least three years in an equivalent agency setting

Responsibilities & objectives
● To develop into an essential point of contact for Oxfordshire Youth’s fundraising function and Fundraising and Communications team
○ Building relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders

The Chartered Institute for Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) is a London-based charity with a friendly, hardworking team supporting our members in the UK and internationally.

This is a fantastic role working with a small team supporting the planning and delivery of a sector-leading training offer, CILIP Learn. CILIP Learn is an exciting new platform under development for CILIP’s learning and CPD offer to members and the sector.
CILIP prides itself on presenting high quality training events, often in partnership with external training providers. Training sessions are specifically designed for those working across the information, knowledge and library professions. Sessions are currently half-day, online training programmes: making them affordable and flexible to fit in around work commitments, and with the attention to detail to gain valuable skills. All our training events are delivered by experienced trainers, with specialist subject knowledge. This role directly supports the delivery of CILIP training, specifically training contracted by employers, and training delivered through partnerships.
The role
Reporting to the Director of Sector Development and working closely with the CILIP Learn Development Manager the Training and Partnerships Officer will support in the delivery of CILIPs training offer.
The ideal candidate will have a broad experience in delivering or overseeing training delivery, online events and webinars, managing successful relationships with stakeholders and have strong IT skills. The main responsibilities of the role include:
- To work with the Director of Sector Development and the CILIP Learn Development Manager to deliver a market-leading training offer for CILIP within CILIP Learn. To deliver and evaluate a portfolio of training events, building effective relationships with training providers.
- To support successful contract and stakeholder management related to the training partnerships and training contracts.
- To develop and maintain systems and processes which ensure that the development of the CILIP Learn offer is based on data, evidence and market intelligence.
It is not essential for the candidate to possess prior knowledge of the sector but they will have the right level of knowledge and enthusiasm to learn rapidly and bring their transferable skills to the role.
The role is 28 hours per week, ideally worked over 4 days but we are open to discussions around the working pattern for delivery of this role.
