About the role
We are seeking an individual giving officer to support the development and delivery of our individual giving programme. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our fundraising team, helping to grow income and deepen engagement from our supporter base.
Key duties
- Assist in the planning and implementation of individual giving campaigns that deliver sustainable income growth and long-term donor engagement
- Manage supporter engagement and acquisition across multiple channels including social media, email, SMS, direct mail, and online campaigns
- Work closely with the fundraising, research, and communications teams to ensure successful delivery of individual giving activities
- Oversee data selection for campaigns to optimise return on investment and support testing; ensure data is managed securely and in line with GDPR

Skills and experience required

- Experience supporting the planning and budgeting of individual giving activity

The Role
The Community Centre Manager will play a key role in the leadership and smooth running of The Edward Woods centre, managing change, growth and performance as agreed with the CEO. Working closely with the UPG Management team, employees, partners, contractors, volunteers and other local organisations, the Manager will work to ensure the
Community Centre is a vibrant, well-managed facility that operates within a sustainable framework for the benefit of residents and organisations. They will also promote the profile, role and impact of the Centre.
Duties and Responsibilities
Management of the Community Centre
• Manage the operations of the Community Centre, its staff and the development and delivery of activities and facilities in line with the business and strategic plan.
• Ensure compliance with employment law and that we follow good practice regarding HR.
• Contribute to the planning, development, implementation and delivery of the business and strategic plan and present regular progress updates to the UPG Management team.
• Oversee the maintenance of the building - including building maintenance and improvement
programmes.
• Manage and monitor all aspects of risk assessments, health and safety and security as required by regulation or good practice including, in conjunction, the review and updating of
policies and procedures.
Management of staff and Volunteers
• Create a positive working environment in which equality and diversity are well managed, dignity at work is upheld and staff and volunteers can achieve their best.
• Ensure effective management of HR including recruitment, supervision and development of
employees, contractors, and volunteers, including carrying out DBS checks as
necessary.
• Oversee the Community Centre’s complaints procedure, and the proper handling, investigation and resolution of any complaints against the Centre, its staff and volunteers.
Working with Others
• Continue developing and maintaining relationships with various local partners to ensure activities at the Community Centre fit with others provided in the area.
• Positively represent the Centre and the community at partner and other meetings/events to raise the profile of the Community Centre and to ensure the views and needs of the community are prioritised and included.
• Prepare reports for funders, PRM and annual general meetings.
PR/Marketing and Fundraising
• Oversee the development and implementation of an income generation & marketing strategy.
• Develop strategies to promote the use and profile of the Community Centre, maximising use of social media, publicity opportunities and liaison with the local media.
Financial management
• Liaise with the CEO and Finance officer in setting and managing budgets and maintain an overview of the financial position of the Community Centre.
• Code invoices to ensure that income and expenditure is allocated to correct projects.
• Ensure best practice in all financial matters.
Project Management
• Support and oversee the continued delivery of high-quality services and activities.
• Devise and implement robust impact monitoring and evaluation strategies for all projects.
• Ensure all projects are correctly risk assessed and supported.
Edward Woods Community Centre has a small team of employees, tenants, volunteers and a
wide range of activities. it is expected that the post holder will be flexible in assisting in areas of work which go beyond their main duties. In particular, the holder of this post will be expected to assist with covering frontline reception and administrative duties and attendance at and/or supervision of events outside of normal working hours.

The Role
As part of a small team, the Events and Exhibitions Manager will support the Head of Venue and New Business Development with sales, planning and delivery of events and exhibitions for external venue hire clients as well as support Society colleagues with internal event planning.
Event support includes use of the computerised room bookings system, ability to set-up and operate basic audio-visual and IT equipment, event support and post-event administration including customer invoicing.
The Events and Exhibitions Manager will also work with colleagues in an extended team, including Facilities Manager, Front of House and Audio-Visual staff, plus contracted cleaners and commissionaires in providing a first-rate service primarily for these third- party events.

What is the role about?
The Charity Manager works directly with the Board of Trustees to manage the charity and visitor centre.
The visitor centre receives over 10,000 visitors per year who provide the majority of the charity’s income. The senior bird team provide a high standard of ethical raptor care to over 20 species, using restraint free management and free-flight techniques, and also deliver experiences and displays to the public. The Charity manager works to ensure that the site is safe and compliant with law & best practice, the senior bird team are provided with adequate resources and that the visitor centre is meeting goals for income generation.
The charity’s mission is to Conserve birds of prey, restore habitats and make wildlife education accessible. The Charity Manager over-sees the staff team delivering the charity activities, ensuring work is recorded and reported correctly.
You would also be responsible for line managing both Deputy Centre Managers. You should be confident in making decisions and able to balance opportunity and risk. An ability to operate within and develop governance, finance and risk frameworks is also a key part of the role, and whilst a background with working with birds of prey or in wildlife conservation is not necessary, you should be passionate about The Bird of Prey Project’s mission.
Key responsibilities
- Line manage and lead personal development of the Deputy Centre Managers.

Product and Partnerships Coordinator
Remote based in North West England
Fixed term contract for initial 12-month period with potential to extend.
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and well-organised Product and Partnerships Coordinator to support the development and expansion of our products and partnerships across the North West Region. This role ensures alignment with CSSC members’ needs, market trends, and company objectives to enhance and diversify our product portfolio. This is the ideal role for someone who enjoys working across teams, building relationships, and ensuring high-quality delivery of services and products to our partners and stakeholders. The role will involve identifying and securing new partnership opportunities, in addition to maintaining positive relationships to ensure high levels of member and partner satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Coordination:
- Support the planning, development, and roll-out of local products or programmes across the North West region.
- Maintain accurate records of product performance, usage, and feedback using insight data.
- Assist in gathering and analysing member feedback and insight to inform product development.
- Prepare reports on product impact and performance for internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring that product milestones are met.
Partnership Management:
- Act as the first point of contact for local partners.
- Support onboarding processes for new partners, including negotiations and relationship management.
- Build strong relationships with existing partners, understanding their needs and helping them get the most out of our services/products.
- Coordinate partnership activities such as events, pilots, reviews, and communications.
- Review and monitor insight to track engagement and opportunities.
- Act as the liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
General:
- Represent the organisation in meetings, regional events, and occasionally conferences.
- Work closely with CSSC Head Office and remote teams to ensure alignment across activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements and efficiency opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to plan go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful product launches.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Proven experience in a coordination role, ideally involving product, project, or partnership work.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel within the North West Region as required.
- Proven track record of launching and managing successful products.
- Keen eye for detail and understanding of UX best practises.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage competing demands.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to quickly build rapport with stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Experience in a product-led or partnership-driven organisation.
- Understanding of customer journey and member insight.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools or reporting platforms.
- Experience working in or with the public, education, or non-profit sectors.

Individual Giving Officer
England South
£28,831 per annum (pro rata for part time hours)

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as an Individual Giving Officer developing and delivering our individual giving programme for regular giver, and cash donors.
An exciting and varied role, as the Individual Giving Officer, you will focus on the development of fundraising copy and creative, to thank donors, and to ask donors.This role will develop and deliver fundraising appeals, factoring in historic performance, testing and working with external agencies.
Regular travel expected to our hub/office based in Bristol, normally once a week.
About you
You’ll be excited by developing fundraising design and copy to thank, steward and ask donors to support Sustrans.
You may have prior experience in a fundraising, marketing or general project management role. Including working to collate, and/or produce content for multiple channels, and a proven ability to work collaboratively with others to reach successful outcomes.
You may have experience working with external agencies, as well as using direct mail and telephone outreach to engage supporters and drive fundraising efforts.
You will demonstrate attention to detail, with strong skills in record-keeping, data entry and analysis. You’ll have some understanding of fundraising principles, and approaches.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is seeking a forward-thinking and experienced Head of Service Design to shape the future of our services. Working at the intersection of innovation, insight, and lived experience, you’ll ensure every service we offer is thoughtfully designed, rigorously tested, and truly life-changing.
What you’ll be doing:
- Shape the vision and strategy for service design at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People
- Lead the development and implementation of inclusive, user-centred design methodologies, grounded in real needs and impact insights
- Collaborate with the Head of Service Engagement to ensure co-creation with people with lived experience is central to our approach
- Oversee content and experience design, ensuring consistency, clarity, and accessibility across all channels
- Partner with Marketing & Communications and IT to support digital transformation, ensuring inclusive and accessible services
- Guide iterative testing, piloting, and improvement of all services, embedding feedback and insight at every stage
- Work closely with the Head of Impact to embed robust evaluation into the design process, ensuring services are scalable and evidence-based
- Champion cross-team collaboration, embedding service design thinking across the organisation
- Build buy-in and advocate for the value of service design with senior leaders and stakeholders
About you
You’re an experienced service designer and collaborative leader with a deep commitment to inclusion, impact, and innovation. You thrive on translating complex user journeys into meaningful service experiences – and you know how to bring others on the journey with you.
Skills and experience:
- Expert in user-centred and inclusive design, with a strong background in service design, co-creation, and accessibility
- Strategic thinker with a holistic understanding of service systems, able to move seamlessly between high-level planning and hands-on delivery
- Collaborative and impact-driven, skilled at working cross-functionally and translating user insight into tangible improvements
