In this role there is plenty of scope for working from home, although there will be occasions when you will need to attend face-to-face meetings with donors, your team, our partner agencies or several away-days each year. In addition, the charity meets for times a year at the office in Hatfield for its 'All Staff Together' days, at which attendance is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

 Supporter Services

•  Lead the development and delivery of the new supporter services function considering people (capability, capacity and culture), processes, tools and technologies needed to deliver outstanding customer service so new and existing supporters feel valued and connected to the ESU’s mission.
• Design and implement supporter recruitment, development and retention plans including welcome journeys and approaches for reactivating dormant supporters.
• Work closely with the Marketing team to create segmented messaging to highlight the impact and value of the ESU’s work to Alumni, Members and Volunteers in the UK.
• Oversee payment processes and supporter payment journeys on our CRM, Salesforce.
• Work with the Marketing team to design ad hoc impactful events in person and online to convene our global audience.
• Work with the Marketing team to promote our flagship events to our supporter audience to encourage attendance. 

Volunteering

• Design and implement a volunteering strategy which includes automating the volunteer experience, recruiting new volunteers and promoting ESU volunteering opportunities to relevant organisations as well as current and future supporters
• Own the volunteer training programme, including reviewing and refreshing training and ensuring all volunteers are appropriately trained.
• Match volunteers to ESU competition heats and resolve queries escalated by the Supporter Engagement Coordinator.
• Form partnerships with relevant organisations to grow the ESU’s pool of volunteers.
• Work with the Education team to create a high quality volunteer experience

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• 5+ years experience working in a partnerships, supporter services, volunteering or account management role
• Demonstrable experience of having delivered successful services to a range of supporters/customers.
• Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering meaningful supporter journeys across multiple channels
• Demonstrable experience of growing and sustaining a pool of high quality volunteers through successful recruitment and development strategies
• Demonstrable experience of using a CRM (preferably Salesforce) to identify trends and drive improvements.

Desirable:

• Educated to degree level in a relevant subject such as marketing or communications
• An understanding of the nature and importance of the ESU’s charitable work and a strong commitment to increasing the reach of the organisation’s work.

About the role

This is a hands-on, people-focused role at the heart of our programme delivery. As Programme Manager, you’ll work closely with communities, colleagues, volunteers, and partners to co-create and deliver meaningful programmes that centre on women’s voices and lived experience.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of projects — from design and facilitation through to coordination, evaluation, and reporting. The role involves a high level of collaboration across departments and with external partners, as well as ongoing work with participants and volunteers to ensure our programmes are inclusive, responsive, and impactful.

You’ll be at the forefront of delivery: holding safe, welcoming spaces; supporting others to take on facilitation roles; and helping build confidence and leadership among women involved in our work. At the same time, you’ll ensure strong systems, clear communication, and smooth operations across every stage of a programme — including the coordination of all logistics, administration, and communications needed to make programme delivery run effectively. As the work is people-focused and often deeply personal, you’ll need to feel confident navigating sensitive conversations, responding to complex situations with care, and creating space for trust and honesty.

This role would suit someone grounded in values that centre lived experience, challenge inequality, and uplift women’s voices — someone who is passionate about working alongside women, committed to social justice, and energised by collaboration, care, and collective learning.

Key responsibilities

Programme & Project leadership

· Support & lead on the design, development and delivery of new and existing programmes and events aligned with the charity’s strategic objectives

· Work closely with Head of Programmes and other departments to translate strategy into bold, creative actions that centre women's voices and lived experience

· Work closely with Head of Programmes and other departments to embed co-production principles across all programme initiatives/ co-produce initiatives with participants and stakeholders, ensuring relevance and impact.

· Initiate and conduct research into topics including public health, gender inequality, and women’s health to inform and inspire programme development.

· Facilitate and host workshops and group sessions; hold inclusive and safe spaces for women, while supporting others (e.g., volunteers, project members) to take on facilitation roles themselves.

· Proactively bring forward ideas, test new approaches, and continuously improve the effectiveness of the charity’s work.

· Collaborate across departments, drawing on the full range of team skills and perspectives to identify opportunities and create programmes that are innovative and cohesive.

Community, Partnerships & Influence

Monitoring, Learning & Evaluation

· Support with the design and management of frameworks for monitoring and evaluating programme outcomes, using tools such as Theory of Change and wellbeing indicators (e.g., WEMWBS).

· Gather and analyse data and feedback (qualitative and quantitative) from all stakeholders to inform adaptive programme delivery and report to funders.

· Produce high-quality reports, case studies, and evidence to demonstrate impact to funders and inform future work.

Marketing & Communications

· Work with Head of Programmes and Marketing teams to highlight the success and stories emerging from programme work.

· Write blogs, contribute to content creation, and ensure programme outcomes are shared with wider audiences in compelling, accessible ways.

· Ensure feedback and participant quotes are used meaningfully to build visibility and engagement.

· Ensure that all relevant programme information — including upcoming activities, events, and opportunities — is communicated clearly and in a timely manner to the appropriate teams or platforms, to support strong marketing, effective recruitment, and maximum engagement.

People Management

· Line manage staff, volunteers and project facilitators, providing clear expectations, supportive supervision, and development opportunities.

· Create a culture that is inclusive, supportive, and inspiring – empowering others to lead and grow.

· Support the wellbeing of all staff and volunteers, with an understanding of the specific health experiences and barriers faced by women.

Funding & Finance

· Develop and monitor programme budgets and work with the Head of Programmes to report against spend.

· Work with SLT to support with research and applications for funding opportunities to support programme delivery and financial sustainability.

· Manage relationships with funders and corporate partners, reporting on outcomes and impact.

Policy, Safeguarding & Organisational Development

• Be an active contributor to the charity’s safeguarding team, playing a role in creating safe, inclusive spaces for all participants and staff.
• Support the implementation of all organisational policies — not only by adhering to them but by actively identifying areas for improvement, sharing feedback, and contributing to policy development.
• Stay up to date with best practice in safeguarding, boundaries, mental health support, and inclusive, trauma-informed practice, and help ensure these are embedded in programme delivery and team culture.

Data Protection, administration and programme coordination

• Oversee the secure collection and storage of data, ensuring full compliance with GDPR.
• Implement and manage CRM systems relevant to programme delivery.
• Ensure the smooth, effective and compliant delivery of all programmes, activities, and events, with a strong focus on quality, coordination, and attention to detail.
• Act as a key contact for programme/project enquiries and coordinate logistics such as booking facilitators, venues, equipment, and refreshments.
• Liaise with participants, facilitators, and volunteers before, during and after programme delivery to ensure a seamless and supportive experience.
• Ensure all relevant paperwork and digital documentation — including EDI monitoring forms, feedback, and volunteer information — is completed, stored securely, and remains compliant with GDPR and organisational standards.
• Manage relationships with external facilitators, including onboarding, contracts, payment processing, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate across departments (e.g. marketing, community engagement, operations) to ensure strong internal communication and the effective promotion and delivery of all programmes.
• Maintain accurate programme records, track progress against plans, and ensure that systems are in place for smooth programme operations.

• Ensure all programmes are inclusive and reflect the diversity of the communities we work with.
• Regularly review EDI data and work with the team to remove barriers to participation.

Membership & Communications Manager

3-4 days per week

£35,000-£45,000 pro rata and subject to experience

Mainly remote (at least initially), with in-person attendance required at monthly team meetings and in-person membership related events which may take place at differing locations, across the UK.

Formed in 2021, the School Partnerships Alliance (S.P.A.) is an independent, non-politically aligned membership and delivery organisation which supports and promotes impactful, sustainable and mutually beneficial cross-sector school partnerships. Purpose of the Role

The Membership & Communications Manager is a new part time role at the School Partnerships Alliance, reporting to the Chief Executive and working closely with our Executive Assistant. You will join us at an exciting time as we develop our new organisational strategy and expand our current school membership offer. As this is a new position this post does not currently have direct reports, but there may be an opportunity to recruit additional team member(s) as the organisation continues to grow over the next 12-18 months. You will be required to work closely with both our CEO and Director of Programmes and Research to lead on the development and delivery of the membership strategy, both stewarding and growing our membership base year on year. You will also be required to manage our new website, provide support with our social media, and ensure that all member communications align with both our brand values and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver a new, robust membership strategy that supports the S.P.A.’s key objectives. This will include new member acquisition, current member retention and ensuring that stewardship of school members is effective and fit for purpose. You will work with the Director of Programmes and Research to help deliver a credible school partnerships CPD programme and collaborate with the wider S.P.A. team to create a tangible, attractive membership offer (both on and off-line) that will bring schools together, challenge existing partnership practice and support new thinking.
• Actively identify, solicit and enrol new schools as members, building and maintaining an evolving pipeline of new membership prospects.
• Plan and prepare for meetings with current and potential members and accompany CEO and/or Director of Programmes and Research to cultivation meetings where appropriate.
• Be the first point of call for all members and with the support of the Executive Assistant to the CEO, oversee the processing of all new membership applications, renewals and invoices and ensure all enquiries from existing and prospective members are responded to in a timely manner.
• Work with the wider team to confirm a calendar of membership events across the school year. These will take place both online and/or in locations across the UK, so occasional travel will be required.
• Oversee the membership budget and provide quarterly income forecasts and reports to the CEO and Trustees, monitoring and reporting against income targets.
• Build and maintain partnerships with wider S.P.A. stakeholders to include external school membership organisations, MATs and S.P.A. trustees.
• Empower S.P.A. staff and our trustee board to support membership development, utilising their talents and networks effectively.
• Lead on the preparation of high-quality digital membership communication and related marketing and event materials.
• Oversee the establishment of an appropriate administration system to ensure effective membership tracking, due diligence, and to ensure that the S.P.A. has a robust, professional approach to member stewardship.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 3 years non-profit membership/communications/fundraising experience in a relevant role would be desirable.
• A proven track record of securing membership subsidies and/or donations from trusts and foundations, corporate partners and major donors.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Project Manager with experience working in or with schools to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of our careers-related activities. This role ensures our partner schools receive high-quality careers education that aligns with the Gatsby Benchmarks.

The Switch partners with approximately 12 secondary schools in Tower Hamlets, delivering an engaging careers programme that supports every student.  As Project Manager, you will work closely with the Secondary Schools team to deliver engaging and inspiring careers activities across our network of secondary schools, creating an impactful experience for students. You will also work alongside the Mentoring Project Manager to manage several mentoring cohorts, serving as the key point of contact for both schools and partner companies, while upholding our robust safeguarding standards.

This role involves hands-on delivery of careers sessions, directly engaging and inspiring students to explore and pursue their future aspirations

Details

· The role sits within the Secondary Schools team and reports to the Senior Project Manager.

· Working hours are typically 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, and 9am – 4pm Fridays

· Working from home (WFH) is typically 2 days a week

Job description - Partnerships and Income Manager

Salary: £38,000 per annum 

Contract: Permanent

Reports to: Head of Commercial Services

Hours: Full or part-time hours considered, minimum 0.8 FTE 

Start date: November 2025

Location: Home-based (travel costs paid for meetings) 

Annual leave: 27 days FTE per annum plus Bank holidays (22 days FTE per annum under the Four Day Week) 

Please note that at Waterwise we work a Four Day Week, under voluntary agreements which all staff members sign. This means that you will be contracted and paid as full-time but you will sign a voluntary agreement stating that you commit to employing efficiency tools both individual and team-wide to deliver and be paid for 5 days work within four normal 9 to 5 days - the office is closed on Fridays. Training will be provided and you will be expected to continue to refresh your training and to keep up use of the efficiency tools. Annual leave is also pro rata’d. We can answer any questions you may have about this at the interview/s. On a 20 hours a week contract, you would be spending 16 hours a week at work including the equivalent of 2 one hour lunch breaks, and this can be worked in a flexible pattern, such as two full days or more, shorter days.

Partnerships and Income Manager Role Description

The Partnerships and Income Manager role involves engaging a range of stakeholders to help generate greater impact and income for Waterwise. The Partnerships and Income Manager will be responsible for researching and identifying potential new business opportunities; conducting outreach to new and existing stakeholders to encourage collaboration; building and maintaining relationships with Waterwise partners, sponsors and members; and assisting with developing winning proposals for funding, in order to deepen the impact we make with individuals, communities and businesses across the UK. The Partnerships and Income Manager will lead on delivery against income targets for our services and events. 

Key responsibilities in the role include: 

• Generating income for Waterwise by retaining existing partners, recruiting new partners, selling sponsorship opportunities, and increasing engagement and investment in Waterwise membership and services

• Researching and identifying new business development leads in line with Waterwise’s commercial strategy

• Building and maintaining an active pipeline of commercial and partnership opportunities to drive income 

• Conducting market and competitor research and engagement to ensure we have a clear understanding of customer needs and align our services to meet those needs

• Conducting lead generation and lead nurturing activities, including representing Waterwise at events and conferences, reaching out to potential new partners by email, phone or social media, and conducting introductory meetings with potential sponsors, members and partners
