Are you meticulous, organised and curious about the world of publishing? We’re looking for a Publications Assistant to join our Marketing and Digital team at the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR). This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the smooth running of our flagship print and digital publications – including our scientific journals, relaunched member magazine and a wide range of guidance, resources and reports.
You’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative content team, working closely with colleagues across the organisation and external partners including publishers, editors and contributors. From coordinating journal meetings and liaising with editorial boards, to proofing new content and preparing communications for members, no two days will be the same.
What you’ll do
- You’ll provide administrative, communications and editorial support across all our publishing activity, including:
- Leading the day-to-day administration of our scientific journals and supporting editors, publishers and board members.
- Coordinating key publishing schedules and meetings, following up actions and maintaining accurate records.
- Supporting the production and promotion of our member magazine, liaising with contributors and clinical advisors.
- Copy-editing and proofreading content, ensuring consistency with our house style and brand guidelines.
- Uploading and maintaining key publications on our website, including clinical guidance and audit content.
- Supporting our member engagement activity, including Fellowship ceremonies
- Providing administrative support, including developing a presentation bank for senior internal stakeholders.
What you’ll need
- Experience in or knowledge of publishing or content production – whether in an academic, scientific or commercial environment.
- Strong copywriting, proofreading and editing skills, with excellent attention to detail across multiple formats.

The Role
The Head of Partnerships and Fundraising is responsible for the majority of income generation for our charity. The Switch raises income from corporate volunteering partnerships and through grant applications to other trusts and charities, which together contribute circa £800,000 per year. This is a role that requires strategic thinking, relationship and negotiation skills, and the ability to meet income targets.
This role will manage and grow our current key corporate partners, ensuring sustainability and longevity in our partnerships. The person will be responsible for communicating effectively with corporate partners on a strategic level, to understand how we can improve our volunteering offer and communicate impact to their business.
The job-holder will seek new partnerships in diverse industries where we have fewer stakeholders, to ensure our young people work with companies and volunteers from wide-ranging sectors.
In this position you will scope fundraising opportunities from grant and trusts, and be adept at assessing our viability so that applications we submit have a higher rate of success than average.
As Head of Partnerships and Fundraising, you will create new income streams which The Switch has not considered before, for example legacy funding, individual giving, corporate match funding. This will improve our financial stability.
In addition to income generation, this role will lead the Partnerships team and manage two to three staff as follows :
1. Our Corporate Partnerships and Volunteer Manager - oversees all volunteer logistics, including maintaining volunteer records and distributing relevant briefing materials to ensure volunteers are well-prepared for their role. Some time dedicated to fundraising too.
2. Our Communication Coordinator – leads on our regular comms including our digital newsletter, social media pages, and bespoke comms for projects or funders.

· The Head of Partnerships and Fundraising leads the Partnerships Team and reports to the CEO.
· Working hours are typically 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, and 9am – 4pm Fridays.

Role Purpose
Responsible for documenting and maintaining up-to-date fundraising income processes, ensuring the accurate and efficient integration of donation data from multiple platforms into the organisation’s CRM (Salesforce). The post holder will work closely with the Head of Education and Development to support the delivery of BASHH’s broad programme of education and training. They will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the STI Foundation and will provide executive support for the STI Foundation Steering Group and BASHH’s Education Committee.
They will also support the BASHH membership function to ensure that BASHH meets the changing needs of our members and drives forward the agenda for better sexual health and HIV care for all.

Brief role description:
The Fundraising Officer plays an integral role supporting the Fundraising team at the Forces Employment Charity (FEC).
As part of the Marketing, Communication and Fundraising Directorate, and led by the Head of Fundraising and Development, you will research and identify new funding opportunities and support their conversion into long-term relationships. You will be supported by senior members of the fundraising team to create and write high-quality proposals to secure funding, and stewardship reports to demonstrate impact and outcomes to our funders.

Contract type: Maternity Cover (12 months fixed term, full time), 35 hours per week
Location: UK hybrid working – a minimum of 40 % of working time is spent face‑to‑face (London office in Canary Wharf, external meetings or travel).

About the role
As our Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will manage new and existing corporate partnerships and our payroll giving scheme to foster powerful partnerships that drive sustainable change.
In this role, you will:
- Proactively manage new and existing corporate partners, ensuring that each partner is appropriately supported and is reaching its full potential.
- Manage WaterAid’s Payroll Giving scheme including managing relationships with Professional Fundraising Organisations and Payroll Giving Agencies.
- Monitor partner-funded programme KPIs and budgets and ensure high quality reporting.
- Work with and make presentations to a range of contact types within our corporate partners.
- Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.
Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
- Education to degree level or equivalent work experience in relevant areas.
- A track record of Partnership Management including proven experience of growing and developing partnerships with companies.
- Experience of writing high quality and engaging proposals and reports for a corporate audience as well as experience of making presentations to senior level contacts and / or large groups of employees.
- Able to forge effective working relationships with people at all levels inside and outside the organisation and across a range of industries and differing business cultures.
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Knowledge of international development and understanding of overseas development issues.
- Experience of developing corporate accounts over £100,000.
- Experience of Payroll Giving scheme.

A leading UK charity is seeking an experienced Supporter Acquisition Manager to join their fundraising team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on high-profile, multi-channel campaigns that attract and inspire new supporters—at a pivotal time for the organisation.
About the Role
As Supporter Acquisition Manager, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end delivery of direct marketing campaigns focused on recruiting new donors. You’ll manage campaigns across a mix of online and offline channels—such as paid social, PPC, DRTV, and direct mail—and will be responsible for budgets reaching up to seven figures.
Working closely with media and creative agencies, internal stakeholders, and suppliers, you’ll ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard. You’ll also line-manage a Supporter Acquisition Officer or Executive, supporting their development while maintaining delivery excellence.
This is a hands-on role with real impact, ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced project work and is ready to hit the ground running.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of multi-channel donor acquisition campaigns
- Manage large campaign budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI
- Collaborate with agencies, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Use data and insight to test, optimise, and improve campaign performance
- Line-manage and mentor a junior team member
- Support innovation within the Individual Giving strategy by testing new products and channel
What We're Looking For:
- Significant experience in direct marketing or individual giving, ideally within the charity sector
- Proven success running large-scale, multi-channel campaigns
- Confidence managing large budgets and using data to inform decision-making
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder relationship management
- Line management experience preferred
- Familiarity with GDPR, fundraising compliance, and digital channels (e.g. paid social, PPC) is desirable
- A proactive, collaborative approach—and a passion for driving supporter growth
