We are seeking an experienced and successful fundraising professional to join our Development Team as Associate Director, Individual Giving and Legacies. This exciting role will lead the Individual Giving (regular giving, appeals, giving products and onsite giving) and Legacies and Commemorative teams at Kew, delivering against ambitious annual targets and strategic goals, implementing and delivering on strategies to significantly grow income from these areas.
Responding to Kew’s ambitious income growth strategy to more than double its philanthropic income by 2030, this role will be critical in increasing unrestricted income, working closely with marketing colleagues to promote and raise the profile of Kew as a charity, and deliver creative and exciting giving products to engage audiences and encourage them to support Kew.
You will have experience of line-management, and the ability to lead a team and build strong relationships with colleagues across Kew.
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for charity fundraising, enjoy strategic leadership and managing a team, and an enthusiasm for Kew’s role as a world leading science, horticulture, conservation and education charity.
This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

Role Purpose: Carry out actions in support of the strategy set out in the Business Plan. Key responsibilities include: Strategy and Business Development and to lead the fundraising effort MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work with the Board of Trustees to develop the overall Business Strategy
· Lead the Fundraising programme, with a target income of £100,000 + per annum new funds

· Support the Educational Programme of the Lindsay Leg Club Foundation REPORTING
· Produce a monthly activity report

PERSON SPECIFICATION

GENERAL
This is a Sole Trader position which means that the individual must provide their own laptop/computer, phone etc. Appropriate expenses will be reimbursed. This role description is not exhaustive and the successful candidate may be asked to undertake additional appropriate duties as required.
TRAVEL
The role will require regular travel. The post holder must possess a driver’s license and ensure own vehicle is in good clean good clean working order and suitable for the task. ABOUT The Lindsay Leg Club Foundation was established in December 2004 with the main objective of facilitating and managing the co-ordinated growth of the network of the Leg Clubs and to provide the Clubs with any information and support that they may require. Individual Clubs are members of the central Foundation and operate according to the Lindsay Leg Club Model. The model is set out in a practical Handbook which details how Clubs can be established. About the role:
We are looking for a very confident, outgoing go-getter who loves using their gregarious personality to influence and enthuse people to get results but also enjoys being organised with strong admin processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has been involved in influencing organisations, businesses and groups or individuals to organise range of fundraising events, such as gaming, auctions, quizzes, gigs. You will be a part of a small but dynamic marketing and fundraising team and working with an Events and Engagement Officer.
This is a critical role for generating essential funds for the charity. You will love a challenge and be goal orientated. It is a varied role, and you will be someone who loves to multitask; you may be emailing supporters or potential fundraisers, making action plans, promoting, contacting organisations, or attending and speaking at events. You will thrive in this role if you love being organised and doing admin, but love being “out and about” interacting, influencing and motivating people to fundraise for us. Please note that you will need to carry, load up and set-up event materials from our office to events, often on your own. Operations Assistant (Full Time – Office Based)
Job Purpose:
The Operations Assistant provides support to the HR and Operations Manager by taking day to day responsibility, under guidance, for various facilities, safety and administrative processes, including HR administration, as well as responsiblity for locking/unlocking of meeting rooms, routine health and safety tasks and other matters that contribute to making the office a pleasant and functional environment in which to work.

We’re looking for a Head of Fundraising, someone who can design, develop and deliver our fundraising stratergy. Someone who can innovate and who can combine stratergy, can lean in and has energy to connect with people, and who sees potential everywhere. Key Responsibilities:

- Line-manage and mentor the newly appointed Trust Fundraiser, supporting their development and success.
Individual Giving and Appeals
- Refresh and strengthen Dementia Concern’s case for support, ensuring a consistent, powerful message across all audiences.
- Design and deliver the charity’s first major appeals — including digital campaigns, local community drives, and postal appeals — to attract and retain individual donors.
- Develop engaging donor journeys and opportunities for people to give regularly, locally, and meaningfully.
Community and Partnership Development
- Reconnect Dementia Concern with its local community through relationship-building, events, and partnerships.
- Represent the charity externally with warmth and confidence, growing our network of local supporters, volunteers, and champions.
- Work closely with the CEO and Trustees to build mutually beneficial partnerships with local businesses, groups, and influencers.
- Oversee the charity’s website and digital presence, ensuring our communications are clear, inspiring, and supporter focussed.
- Lead on campaigns and public relations that raise awareness of dementia and the charity’s impact in West London.

Art Explora is seeking a full time Community Programme Coordinator to lead on the day-to-day running of the Community Programme in London, working closely with Art Explora’s Community Programme Manager and coordinating programme volunteers.
Art Explora is a non-profit arts organisation founded in the UK in 2021. We are seeking a Community Programme Coordinator to support the day-to-day delivery of the programme and work closely with the Community Programme Manager to expand our offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme administration including but not limited to being the first point of contact and managing the volunteering inbox, processing expenses, sending weekly confirmation emails to volunteers and a monthly newsletter, and inputting monitoring data
- Delivering and facilitating Arts at Home, and other community programme sessions
- Support planning and delivery of trainings and events for volunteers – volunteer inductions, volunteer social events, and volunteering bespoke trainings
- Coordinate ‘Art Explorers At’ trips to cultural venues

AFK is a national charity creating opportunities for children and young people who are disabled or neurodiverse, to increase their independence, reach their individual potential and remove the barriers they face. At a national level, we provide mobility equipment not available on the NHS for disabled children and young people up to the age of 25.
Overall Job Purpose
To support young people aged 18+ with a range of disabilities/neurodiversity to progress towards and into employment. · To manage the delivery of Young Marketeers in Birmingham in eight primary schools
Background to School Food Matters
School Food Matters (SFM) exists to teach children about food and to improve children’s access to healthy, sustainable food during their time at school. We provide fully funded food education programmes to schools. Our experience delivering these programmes informs and strengthens our campaigns, bringing the voices of children, parents and teachers to government policy.
Young Marketeers
This much-loved programme was started in London in 2012. It is now running in 16 cities across England and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund for three years. The programme provides hands-on opportunities for children from primary schools to grow fruit and veg from seed to sell at their local market. Young Marketeers is also a platform for School Food Matters to promote food education to schools and communities as a way to support children to live happy and healthy lives. Children learn the art of growing veg from seed, and market traders will share their secrets on how to create a winning market stall. Primary schools will be visited by our gardener in March/April and then again in May/June and receive further tips on how to ensure a bumper crop. And in July, they head to the market to sell their produce, and to meet the mayor!
Key Tasks include:
· Assist with recruitment of eight schools to take part in Young Marketeers
· Build and maintain relationships with teachers, teaching assistants and senior leaders to ensure the smooth running of the project
· Build and support relationships with contacts in partner organisations

o One assembly in each school
o Two food growing sessions in each school
o One market trader training session in each school
o Market Day in the city centre in July for all schools
