St Hilda’s East has a 135-year history of combating deprivation and social exclusion in East London. We are in a unique position in that we have strong, continuing links with our founders, the Guild (alumnae) of Cheltenham Ladies' College together with the school’s parents, and pupils.

As Fundraising Lead (Corporates & Individuals) you will play a vital role in securing support from corporates, local businesses and individuals to help our charity to continue to thrive for a further 135 years!

The role can be worked flexibly over 22.5 hours per week with opportunities to work from home as well as our friendly offices in Shoreditch, London. 25 days holiday and bank holidays (pro rata) plus a pension scheme.

• Act as the main point of contact for the Data Community of Practice (CoP), scheduling meetings and managing communications on the ISEAL online platform
• Establish and build relationships with Community Members’ data practitioners to understand their current capacities and identify priority topics for cross-learning related to data

Essential attributes, skills & knowledge

• Experience working in a project support role or data-related role focused on project administration, data and information management, data analysis, and/or stakeholder engagement

• Strong organisational skills, and experience with administration, meeting coordination, logistics contracts, budget tracking, etc.

Production

Job Description  

The Partnership Officer will be a key member of The Hygiene Bank’s income generation team and wider central team, with a responsibility to help meet the needs of our existing partnerships and support in fulfilling the charity’s income generation plans and strategy.

You will support the management of our brand and corporate partners, working with the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships. Your role will be to develop and deliver partnership strategies and stewardship plans for each account, to deliver against our objectives and meet income targets.

The Database Assistant will maintain Symplectic Grant Tracker, a key organisational database, ensuring all data is accurate and meaningful. This database holds the application portal for organisations and is how the Grants & Learning Team manage and support funded partners with their grants. You will undertake regular database administration tasks, such as adding new users, updating forms, importing data and amending the database where required by the team.

You will play a key role in the organisation around GDPR and data protection, working alongside the Database Administrator with a focus on our Salesforce databases, to ensure consistency across both systems. You’ll be working within a team that advocates for evidence-led decision making and a sustainable data culture.

You’ll be a member of the Communications & Marketing team, reporting into the Insights Manager. You’ll also be working closely with the Grants & Learning Team who are responsible for delivering our ambitious, nationwide grants programme and who currently support over 500 grassroots organisations and 18-25 year old creatives. This role will be responsible for ensuring that the correct information is stored effectively and is easily accessible, reportable and usable on Grant Tracker. The Database Assistant will assist us to demonstrate delivery against our Business Plan by programming our grants database to be the most effective at collecting and producing the data output needed by the team.

The Journey and Cross Sell Manager is responsible for developing rich supporter journeys, primarily across email, that deepen the relationship between RNID and our incredible supporters.

As The Journey and Cross Sell Manager, you will:

• Build, design and deliver supporter journeys that engage audiences and encourage them to take actions, such as donating
• Work closely with colleagues in Marcomms and Fundraising to develop journeys tailored to donor types and audience segments

Job Purpose

BSR events are a key benefit to members and the wider rheumatology community, offering the very latest in science, innovation, research and cases. 

Our events team deliver the award-winning Annual Conference (Manchester 28-30 April 2025) in a hybrid format to c2000 delegates, plus our Case-based conference (Leeds 5-6 Nov, in-person c300 delegates) as well as a programme of celebratory awards. 

The Events Executive works alongside the Events Manager, Digital Events Manager and Head of Events to deliver our events. Working on a range of areas from registration, logistics, being the main point of contact for delegates and liaising with venues and suppliers. This is an exciting role for someone looking to get more exposure to different areas of events and liaise with multiple stakeholders.

Main responsibilities

Event coordination

• Coordinate the registration management process for BSR conferences, including: arranging our registration services, data management and reporting.
• Manage the events inbox, being the main point of contact for delegates for all queries.
• To coordinate networking sessions and taster workshops within annual conference.
• Organise logistical elements including award prizes, abstract poster submissions and processes, arranging site visits, accommodation, travel arrangements and expenses.
• Manage CPD accreditation of events and activities.
• Provide content for webpages and emails to keep delegates informed.
• Input into our event budgets by monitoring progress and providing financial reporting and reconciliation against income and expenditure.

General

• Be a core member of the events team by attending and inputting into all planning meetings, venue site visits and delivery of events onsite.

Please note: This role will require travel, overnight stays and weekend work, for example at our conferences (6 day stay). A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent Multimedia Content Producer to join the Marketing Communications team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. This role will support the Senior Creative Lead & Design Manager and Head of Marketing & Brand to create, commission and produce a wide variety of creative marketing materials, focusing on photography and video assets. 

You will work across all areas of SSAFA, so your creative talents will help raise awareness of crucial services, recruit volunteers, support fundraising initiatives and promote understanding of SSAFA’s work, this will allow you the ability to flex your content production skills to different audience types and a wide range of outputs. You will work from creative concept to asset completion and be able to lead on the development of our video strategy and planning. This is a new role within the organisation so you will have the exciting opportunity to shape the future direction of multimedia content, in particular focusing on video content strategy. 

You will have access to the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite of software, and actively encouraged to develop your skills and proficiency in areas you may not have experienced, some skill in using other Adobe products such as InDesign is desirable, but not essential. 

We are looking for someone with an exceptional eye for detail, bags of initiative, creativity and innovation. This role will offer plenty of variety - no two days will be the same - but you will need to juggle different creative projects, be able to prioritise, communicate effectively and work collaboratively. 

About the team 

You will be joining a well-established team of marcomms professionals, ranging from Designers to Case Study Managers. You will have plenty of opportunity to interact with photo/video freelancers as well as other internal departments, such as Fundraising or members of the volunteer network. 

About you 

To hit the ground running and carry out this role successfully you will have:

• A portfolio of video or photographic projects demonstrating; creative concept development, collaboration others/colleagues to produce creative assets. 
• Demonstratable experience of planning and managing a pipeline of photo, video or audio assets, and working collaboratively and effectively to achieve engaging content that supports SSAFA achieving its KPIs.
• Demonstrable experience of organising a photo/video shoot, including briefing photographers, videographers or others. 
• Demonstrable experience of creating compelling multimedia content that drives an emotional connection with the audience. You may have undertaken parts of this process such as crafting a storyboard and briefing the delivery, or you may have taken video footage to edit varying assets. 
• Experience working with a marketing or communications team to support the creation and delivery of digital assets for active TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter social media accounts, including knowledge of different digital and social media advertising format would be advantageous. 
• Excellent skills in Premiere Pro (or similar) 
• Some skill in other creative tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. would be advantageous.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines as needed.

Job summary
The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) is a Society of over 1,700 members from 100 countries, who work in, or are interested in tropical medicine and global health.

RSTMH organises and participates in events as a crucial way of showcasing, discussing, and debating key areas of tropical medicine and global health research and practice. Our range of events are wide. We deliver conferences and webinars, social events, research meetings for early career professionals, and high-profile debates and discussions. They happen across the UK and around the world, both online and in person. Our events add to the impact of our work in tropical medicine and global health, but also raise funds to allow us to continue our work as a charity.

The Meetings and Events Manager would lead on the delivery of the RSTMH meeting and events strategy. The role requires a self-starter who is excited by the prospect of working on such a broad range of meetings and events. The candidate needs to have excellent communication and relationship building skills, and to be organised, flexible with a great attention to detail. They should be comfortable liaising with venues for meetings space, developing budgets for events, managing logistical aspects of the events programme and setting up new events online and in person.
