If you enjoy writing blogs or newsletters, are able to tell stories in an engaging way, this is the role for you.
This would include writing a weekly “point of view” piece that focuses on an area that Living Reasons engages in, whether this is research data reporting, lived experience storytelling or news highlight pieces.
Additionally to writing posts, you may also want to work with the social media coordinator to create video posts or even look at creating a podcast for the charity, the options are limitless as at Living Reasons, we encourage the entire team to bring ideas to the table and empower you to run with them, with the support of the organisation.

WHO ARE WE?
Palmed Academy, the education arm of Palmed UK, is training the next generation of healthcare workers in Gaza. There is an extreme shortage of health workers and limited educational opportunities for medical, dental, and nursing students in Gaza.
We aim to provide medical, nursing, and dental students with the resources, training, and opportunities to advance their education and become the future healthcare workforce in the Gaza Strip. We do this using a hybrid learning model - an online learning platform supported by international faculty to supplement on-the-ground clinical teaching by local faculty and healthcare workers.
This program is entirely free for the students. It costs about USD 150 / month to produce One Future Healthcare Worker through this program.
OUR IMPACT
2100 Palestinian medical students are continuing their undergraduate education through GEM’s hybrid model. We have expanded to include nursing and dental programs. 200 new doctors graduated in Gaza in January 2025, and our first cohort of nurses is set to follow in summer 2025.

As we prepare for our exciting launch, we need a creative and dynamic Volunteer, Social Media Manager to tell our story, build our community, and amplify our message. This is your chance to shape our digital voice from day one and generate excitement around REMIX!
In this vital start-up phase, you will be instrumental in:

Friends Provident Foundation is looking for new Trustees to help guide its programmes of giving and investment, which aim to build a fair and sustainable economy in the UK. We are working toward this aim through supporting action, building knowledge, and using our endowment as a tool for change.
We are particularly seeking perspectives that may challenge conventional thinking and would like to hear from people with an active interest in how the economy works and who have a drive to shape society.
You will need to be committed to our ambitious mission of using all our assets to bring about the change we wish to see. We are seeking to appoint more than one Trustee and are particularly interested to hear from people with one or more of the following areas of experience: financial management; social investment and/or capital market investment; organisational development; systems change.
All Trustees work closely with the Foundation’s staff to achieve our objectives and you will need to commit on average one day a month to the Foundation’s business. We are seeking diversity of perspective, background, physical abilities, ethnicities and class background and welcome applicants from all age groups and all nations in the UK.

Headline: TikTok - Community and Content Officer
Join us at Ickle Pickles, where a small but mighty team makes a significant impact through social media. We run organic campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X, leveraging CanvaPro to maximise our reach with minimal resources. Now, we're expanding our efforts to TikTok (and possibly BlueSky) to raise awareness about prematurity and connect with new audiences. We need your expertise in resizing, adapting, and manually reposting or scheduling our content on these platforms. To enhance community engagement, your role will also involve monitoring and responding to comments and organising collaborations with our supporters on TikTok.

Our long-term goal is to become a verified charity on TikTok. Achieving this milestone requires reaching 1,000 followers, allowing us to set up fundraising initiatives on the platform.

What Success Looks Like:
Our TikTok journey begins with just 27 followers. Success means reaching a three-digit follower count, posting scheduled content weekly, and boosting engagement.

Why does it matter?
Each year, over 90,000 babies in the UK are born sick or prematurely. Ickle Pickles is the only charity dedicated to helping hospitals raise funds for lifesaving equipment. We work with neonatal units and families affected by neonatal care across the country. By increasing our reach on TikTok, we can support more families, spread awareness of prematurity and ultimately, increase donations to fund life-saving equipment for premature and sick babies.
We’re looking for a volunteer from August 2025.

Design a Brand Guidelines: Collaborating with our Founder to build a comprehensive visual identity guide that will keep our brand consistent throughout our charity's journey, ensuring everything we produce feels distinctly REMIX. This includes defining our brand colours, typography, imagery style (including photography and illustration direction), logo usage, and overall design principles to ensure a cohesive, youthful and impactful look.

Visual Storytelling: Translating REMIX's mission and impact into compelling visual narratives that resonate with our audiences. This includes Social Media Posts, Branded Website Images, Roller Banners, Business Stationery, Poster, Flyer and more.

Guides and Booklets: Helping REMIX spread awareness of our charity, welcoming booklets for volunteers or service users and much more.
This is a voluntary role to help us establish our core brand identity and initial materials. We are flexible and can work around your availability, including the hours you can support us with. We're also ok if you're only able to support us with only the brand guidelines but if you are able to continue to support us afterwards with social media posts, website imagery. promotional printing materials or digital promotional materials then we would be greatful and excited to work with you.
